Tart Reform Needed to Fix Health Care

By John W. Lillpop

President Obama made a half-hearted, phony gesture toward reforming the number one problem that causes medical costs to explode: Ambulance-chasing scumbags (Lawyers) like John Edwards who prey on the medical profession like vultures feasting on rats too pesty to die.

Obama's charade fooled hardly anyone save Michelle, the two young daughters, and Nancy Pelosi who has a "granda crush" on Obama.

Its proper name is tort reform, but given the whorish nature and tactics of both the lawyers and the liberals who protect them, the correct term is tart reform.

If America is to have any chance of ever containing medical costs, tort reform is essential. Not negotiable. Period.

Even a certifiable whack job like Howard Dean knows this truth.

As reported at Nationalreviewonline.com, in part:

"Here’s why tort reform is not in the bill. When you go to pass a really enormous bill like that, the more stuff you put in it, the more enemies you make, right? And the reason that tort reform is not in the bill is because the people who wrote it did not want to take on the trial lawyers in addition to everyone else they were taking on. And that is the plain and simple truth."

Hurrah to Dr. Dean for showing more political courage than his leftist colleagues in the White House and Congress, combined.

To Barack Obama: When are YOU going to abandon the partisan "games" and get to work on fixing the health care crisis?
