San Francisco Giants: From Summer Boom to Fall Swoon

By John W. Lillpop

When the regular season for major league baseball ends next weekend, the San Francisco Giants will, for the 51st consecutive year, fail to bring a World Series championship to the City.

Despite boasting baseball legends like Barry Bonds, Willie Mays, Juan Marichal, Willie McCovey, Orlando Cepeda, Gaylord Perry and scores of other very gifted baseball stars over the decades, the San Francisco Giants have never been world champions. NEVER.

With all of that talent going for them, one wonders why? How is it that this franchise has never hoisted a World Series flag or supped on champagne reserved for champions?

Speculation: San Francisco is so inundated with wrong-minded liberals that the baseball gods have rightly decided to keep the coveted World Series crown from falling into the wrong hands.

Thus, the Giants greatest need is not for a power hitter to bat clean up or another Tim Lincecum in the starting rotation.

Rather, the Giants need to disassociate the club from the likes of Gavin Newsom, Nancy Pelosi, and other liberal nut balls who occupy San Francisco.

Only then will the Giants have a shot at the glory found in the winner's circle.
