Owing to the fact that the Democrat Party has no credible candidates or recent achievements to tout, party leaders in Charlotte were forced to reach back to the last century to find a perjurer to make a case for not letting Barack Obama go, as had been recommended by Clint Eastwood in Tampa.
The DNC came up with the name William Jefferson Clinton, a well-known serial abuser of women and the last US president to be impeached, his impeachment for perjury and obstruction of justice.
How sad that the Democrat Party has fallen so dramatically: A disgraced sex addict with a federal rap sheet is the best that the DNC can advance in defense of the simply awful Obama presidency?
Besides whooping and hollering for Bill Clinton and his sordid past, the Dems staged an endless parade of baby haters to celebrate infanticide, while expanding their baby-death wish list to demand federal-funding for exterminating innocent babies.
Even more pathetic, Democrats made a foolish spectacle of their party and of the notion that elections (even at conventions) are supposed to be fair and honest.
As reported at Reference 1, the Democrat Party staged a “Vote” to recover from their idiotic move 24 hours earlier, in which the faithful voted to remove platform language which set forth the US commitment to Israel and the capital city of Jerusalem, and to remove all references to God.
Unfortunately, the “recovery” vote, under the unsteady hands of LA Mayor Villaraigosa, was even more contorted and mangled as the original anti-Israel, anti-God effort to make a mockery of the platform:
CHARLOTTE - Following what Obama campaign officials said was the personal intervention of President Barack Obama, the Democratic National Committee reversed itself and altered their platform Wednesday afternoon to include language identifying Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.
After defending their decision to keep such language out of the platform as recently as this afternoon, convention leaders today proposed two amendments to the platform adopted on Tuesday, one to add a mention of God and one to add a mention of Jerusalem.
"Jerusalem is and will remain the capital of Israel. The parties have agreed that Jerusalem is a matter for final status negotiations. It should remain an undivided city accessible to people of all faiths," the new platform language stated.
An Obama campaign official told The Cable late Wednesday that the change in platform was made to reflect the personal views of Obama, who believes that Jerusalem is the capital of Israel and who "personally intervened" to ask for the platform change. “
The re-vote was so poorly managed and lacking in integrity that, without knowing better, one would guess that the process was taking place in a third-world banana nation.

This incident reflects an essential American truth: Democrats are generally too incompetent to run a convention, much less the nation!
