More "Transformation" from Obama: Gas Now $7 a Gallon!

By John W. Lillpop

While millions of Americans suffer the economic anquish of ever- escalating gasoline prices in a morbid economy, environmental elitists in the Obama Administration have cause for celebration.

To wit, gasoline prices have reached $7 a gallon as the Obama-Chu goal of $8 a gallon edge closer to reality.

As reported at the reference, in part:

AVALON, CATALINA ISLAND (CBS) — Catalina Island is known for many things… its picturesque scenery, seafood and hiking, to name a few. But what about high gas prices? For the past two weeks, gas prices on Catalina Island have been an average of $7 a gallon.

Stacy Dizon, who works at the Santa Catalina Island Co.-owned gas station on Pebbly Road, tells CBSLA that a gallon of regular unleaded on Saturday is $7.03

About 1.5 miles away, Ivan Hernandez at the city-owned Avalon Marine Dock says the price of regular unleaded is $6.90 a gallon, down 10 cents from Friday.”

By limiting drilling permits and scuttling oil opportunities like the Keystone Pipeline, President Obama is deliberately striving to drive Americans out of their automobiles by making gasoline too expensive for the working family.

Yet another example of how Obama and the Democrats work to enrich the lives of the “little guy.”
