In an exceptionally odd twist to the Tucson tragedy, one of the victims of Jared Loughner’s psychotic meltdown has himself been arrested for violent rhetoric.
As reported throughout the media, James Eric Fuller, 63, was arrested and taken for a psychiatric exam after an outburst at an event taped for a special edition of ABC's "This Week."
Fuller reportedly took a picture of Tea Party spokesman Trent Humphries and yelled “You're a dead man!”
Oh, and lest Chris Matthews, Keith Olbermann, Ed Schultz or any of their ilk jump to the conclusion that Fuller was following instructions from El Rushbo, Sarah Palin, or Glenn Beck, the following blurb from The Politico is must reading:
A wounded survivor of the Tucson shooting that critically injured Rep. Gabrielle Giffords is blaming Sarah Palin, House Speaker John Boehner, Fox TV host Glenn Beck, and former Nevada GOP Senate candidate Sharron Angle for the tragedy.
“It looks like Palin, Beck, Sharron Angle and the rest got their first target,” Eric Fuller said in an interview with Democracy NOW.
“Their wish for Second Amendment activism has been fulfilled — senseless hatred leading to murder, lunatic fringe anarchism, subscribed to by John Boehner, mainstream rebels with vengeance for all, even 9-year-old girls,” he added, referring to the death of Christina Taylor Green."
The big question: Is James Eric Fuller bidding for a gig with MSNBC?
