Obama Straddles Racial “Pity Pot” to Explain Disapproval Woes

By John W. Lillpop

Barack Obama is engulfed in a sea of scandals and corruption involving the unnecessary loss of American lives in Benghazi, Libya; unlawful use of the IRS against his political foes; unprecedented application of government surveillance equipment and technology to snoop on American citizens and foreign allies; brutal gun-running scams across US borders into Mexico; lies and deception regarding government health care reform; wanton disregard for the rule of law, and other high crimes and misdemeanors, each worthy of removal from office.

In addition, the Obama economy is mired in devastating debt, untoward levels of unemployment, and disastrous spending fueled by rampant waste and corruption.

Yet despite all of the obvious signs that the cause of most of America’s woes originate with the policies and people of his administration, Barack Obama continues to mount a racial pity pot to explain the dreadful state of the Union.

As reported:

President Barack Obama said that racial tensions may have softened his popularity among white voters within the last two years, according to a story posted on the New Yorker magazine’s web site today.

“There’s no doubt that there’s some folks who just really dislike me because they don’t like the idea of a black president,” Obama said in the article by David Remnick, appearing in the magazine’s Jan. 27 edition.

“Now, the flip side of it is there are some black folks and maybe some white folks who really like me and give me the benefit of the doubt precisely because I’m a black president,” Obama said in his most direct comments on how race has affected his political standing since he’s been in office.

Obama’s second term has been marked by controversies including a partial government shutdown in October, revelations that the National Security Agency has gathered personal mobile phone data and the troubled rollout of health-insurance expansion.
Obama’s approval rating among all voters is 39 percent and his disapproval rating is 53 percent, according to a Gallup Poll conducted Jan. 14-16.”

Rather than falling back on the race card, Barack would be well advised to look into the mirror and face the omnibus of scandal and failure that his policies and actions have  brought to America.

Get rid of Marxist health care and work in earnest to create jobs, Mr. President, and you will be embraced by all, regardless of race or ethnicity!
