Just when it seemed as though America had hit rock bottom and could sink no lower in garnering respect from in the world community, Barack Obama has been humiliated by Iranian thugs who are cheering an important victory in the ongoing battle over Iran’s nuclear ambitions.
Iranian president Hassan Rouhani is taking to Twitter to gloat about the nuclear deal his country struck with the U.S. and other Western countries.
"Our relationship w/ the world is based on Iranian nation's interests. In #Geneva agreement world powers surrendered to Iranian nation's will," Rouhani tweeted about an hour ago.
In a recent interview, Iran's chief negotiator for the nuclear deal also claimed victory.
“No facility will be closed; enrichment will continue, and qualitative and nuclear research will be expanded,” the chief nuclear negotiator said. “All research into a new generation of centrifuges will continue.”
Yet another spectacular foreign-policy achievement on record for our beleaguered president?
Perhaps the arrogant tweet by Rouhani will be sufficient to convince congress to pass new and tougher sanctions over the head of America’s failed president?
