In Defense of Barack Obama—Sort of

By John W. Lillpop

Barack Obama is NOT completely at fault for everything bad that has happened over the past three years.

REPEAT: Barack Obama is not at fault for all bad things over the past three years.

For example, he probably had little or nothing to do with the magnitude 9.0 earthquake and tsunami that devastated Japan in March.

Hurricane Irene would most likely have pummeled the east coast even if John McCain and Sarah Palin had prevailed in 2008.

The Boston Red Sox would have recorded the most depressing collapse in sports history even if the White House were not occupied by an arrogant snot and unashamed Marxist.

Anthony Weiner would have taken pictures of his sorry private parts, and sent said photos to an undeserving world via Twitter even if Barack was still in organized crime (under the guise of community organizer) on the streets of Chicago.

There must be hundreds of other examples of awful things for which The One cannot be held liable. I can’t think of any others at the moment, but they are surely out there.

For everything else, it is perfectly appropriate (and even fun!) to blame Obama!

Except for the fact that it is not just Obama.

The same type of mind-numbing arrogance and shortsightedness that has hold on Obama also has its clutches around the minds of Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Dick Durbin, Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, Barbara Boxer, Barney Frank, and countless other progressives from coast-to-coast.

In fact, I would risk my lifetime membership in the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy of America by stating that Obama is not the major problem in America today.

In fact, it is the ideological snake pit of liberalism that is responsible for every ill in the world.

Obama is but symptom of a calamitous dumbing down of the species.

Which is not to say that Obama does not have to go. He does, but even with this misfit out of the picture, there is one hell of a lot of work that we conservatives will have left to do if there is any hope for saving America.
