House to Probe Obama Solar Loans, Fulfill Oversight Responsibility

By John W. Lillpop

President Obama’s doings involving loans and other activities to promote solar energy are going to be investigated by Congress, thereby fulfilling a vital oversight duty which was ignored during the Nancy Pelosi tenure as Speaker of the U.S. House.

As reported, in part, at the reference

Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) said Tuesday that his committee plans to investigate government loan programs to private corporations in light of allegations of improper dealings between the White House and failed energy company Solyndra and wireless start-up LightSquared.

"I want to see when the president and his cronies are picking winners and losers… it wasn't because there were large contributions given to them," the chairman of the Oversight and Government Reform Committee said Tuesday morning on C-SPAN.”

Rep. Issa is to be commended for taking on this chore; however, there are several other issues involving potential high-crimes and misdemeanors which the House should investigate, including:

 Willful violation of the War Powers Act in war actions taken in Libya;
 Fast and Furious scandal in which weapons were walked into Mexico by the Obama Administration, leading to the murder of an American border patrol agent;
 Refusal to enforce the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986, Including deliberate malfeasance with respect to deportation of illegal aliens;

 Refusal to act responsibly with respect to America’s fiscal affairs. Said negligence leading to the loss of America’s AAA credit rating.

There are no doubt other instances of abuse of power and corruption by this president.

The US House needs to bundle all of the crimes into one impeachment inquiry.

The operative words for the GOP should be: THINK BIG!
