Pope Francis “Ex-Communicates” Mafia: What About Nancy Pelosi, Your Holiness?
By John W. Lillpop
As reported at Reference 1, Pope Francis took on Mafia thugs whom the Pontiff termed an example of, “the adoration of evil”:
Pope Francis on Saturday took on one of Italy's most dangerous organized crime groups, calling it an example of "the adoration of evil" and saying Mafiosi "are excommunicated".
"Those who in their lives follow this path of evil, as mafiosi do, are not in communion with God. They are excommunicated," Pope Francis said in impromptu comments at a mass before tens of thousands of people.
He told the crowd: "This evil must be fought against, it must be pushed aside. We must say no to it."
While the Pope is to be commended for flexing his righteous ex-communication powers against the Mafia, one cannot help but wonder if the Pontiff will use those same Godly powers to isolate the likes of Nancy Pelosi, San Francisco politician and Catholic poser, based on the fact that Pelosi is an unrepentant Democrat who recently characterized abortion as “sacred ground.”
Pelosi further distanced herself from Church core beliefs when she audaciously and publicly advised Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone to skip the March for Marriage in Washington, D.C. on June 18.
As reported at reference 2:
San Francisco politicians got more than they bargained for when they tried to demonize pro-marriage supporters and pressure Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone to bow out of today’s March for Marriage in Washington, DC.
Instead of cowering in fear, Cordileone—who rallied voters to pass Prop. 8, California’s definition of marriage referendum—explained what marriage is, corrected their false accusations and held them up to their own standard: “Before you judge us, get to know us.”
Rep. Nancy Pelosi led the lobbying to pressure San Francisco’s top Catholic leader. The small group of local politicians and homosexual advocates sent a letter to Cordileone attempting to smear marriage supporters—a tactic outlined in the homosexual strategy book “After the Ball.”
Cordileone heads the U.S. Catholic Bishops’ work to defend marriage—and the accusers gave him a prime opportunity to model how to defend marriage from the vicious methods of pro-homosexual activists.”
Thus, on two vitally important spiritual and moral issues, Nancy Pelosi continues to advocate positions that are in direct conflict with church teachings, and which send the worst possible message to Catholics and non Catholics alike.
Nancy Pelosi richly deserves to be ex-communicated from the Church!
