Never in the history of these United States has the good office of the President been occupied by such an ego-maniacal, class-less hypocrite as Barack Obama.
To Obama, the law is not a hard and fast. Rather, law is more or less optional, depending on his political ideology on any particular issue.
For instance, when it comes to federal immigration laws enacted by Congress and codified into law by the signature of the President, Obama places a much greater priority on growing the Democrat Party through appeasement, pandering, and coddling of invading illegal aliens whom, as Obama knows all too well, can nearly always be counted on to vote Democrat.
Conversely, Obama holds the 2nd Amendment and the entire issue of gun ownership in utter contempt, and is an unapologetic and insanely aggressive advocate of “infringing” on gun rights at every opportunity, the Constitution and 2nd Amendment thereto notwithstanding.
Obama’s confounding views defy logic and common sense.
It’s as though his words are word-smithed on an alien planet, thousands of light-years from earth, and blithely beamed back to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue without vetting, or even the most fundamental verification.
An example is Obama’s latest rage concerning gun violence. As reported#:
Despite virtually no legislation on gun control and little hope for a breakthrough, President Obama made clear this week he still sees the issue as a top priority in his second term, publicly chastising lawmakers and gun-rights advocates and telling them they “should be ashamed” of U.S. firearms laws.
The passionate statements — delivered unexpectedly as Mr. Obama was discussing the cost of college with Tumblr founder David Karp on Tuesday — underscore how much political capital the president is willing to invest in the issue. He even called the failure to pass gun legislation the biggest frustration of his presidency thus far.
But by his own admission, any restrictions on guns have little or no shot of becoming law in the current environment, despite the best efforts of Mr. Obama’s allies in Congress.
Underscoring the intense resistance to any gun-control measure, the president’s statements Tuesday — in which he praised Australia for banning virtually all long-barrel weapons — quickly became fodder for pro-Second Amendment groups.
“Our levels of gun violence are off the charts. There’s no other advanced, developed country on earth that would put up with this,” he said Tuesday. “And most members of Congress — and I have to say, to some degree this is bipartisan — are terrified of the NRA.”
Clearly, when it comes to 2nd Amendment rights, Barack Obama is the self-appointed “Infringer-in-chief.”
Has it ever occurred to Obama that his sanctimonious demands for tough new gun laws are essentially ignored by Congress and the public, largely due to the fact that Obama refuses to acknowledge, much less enforce, existing rule of law when it comes to borders and immigration?
How in the world can any reasonably sane person stand before the American people and openly declare that he, as the chief law enforcement authority in the nation, will unilaterally ignore and defy existing law and the will of Congress when it comes to prosecution of invading aliens, while, in the very same breathe, chastising law makers for not passing laws that would “infringe” on the 2nd Amendment rights of American citizens?
Furthermore, Mr. President, what other “advanced, developed country on earth” would put up with the government-sponsored invasion of its sovereign soil by tens of millions of invading foreign criminals whom, if granted amnesty, would alter the political, cultural, social, and economic norms of the most successful human society in history, possibly forever?
Indeed, Mr. President,NOT ONE of the nations currently “dumping” thousands of illegal alien juveniles on the backs of American taxpayers would tolerate such disrespect and violation of its own sovereignty!
Why, then, does America continue to tolerate the devastation wreaked on our way of life by the unlawful invasion of US soil from south of our borders?
Two despicable words explain the cowardly capitulation of American authority to the sewers of the third-world: Barack Obama!
