Another Bipartisan Rejection of Obama’s Tax & Spend Nonsense in U.S. Senate!

By John W. Lillpop

Despite Joe Biden’s hysterical fretting about a pandemic of rapes and murders, the U.S. Senate blocked an attempt to cull out and pass a $35 billion parsing of Obama’s original “Jobs Bill.”

The latest rejection of Obamanomics was enacted by a collection of Democrats, Republicans, and Independents as reported in part at the reference:

For the second time in two weeks, Senate Republicans voted in unison to block “jobs” legislation, which the Obama administration and Senate Democratic leaders have made central to their agenda.

The measure, a piece of President Obama’s larger jobs package, failed by a tally of 50 to 50 after several Democrats joined with Republicans to the Senate from moving to the measure.

Democrats Ben Nelson (Neb.) and Mark Pryor (Ark.) sided with Republicans. Sen. Joe Lieberman (Conn.), an independent who caucuses with Democrats, also said no, citing concerns about the legislation’s cost effectiveness.”

Despite the bipartisan nature of the vote, President Obama misrepresented the facts by saying, “"For the second time in two weeks, every single Republican in the United States Senate has chosen to obstruct a bill that would create jobs and get our economy going again," Obama said in a statement released after the vote. "That’s unacceptable."

To which a logical retort would be, “Unacceptable is exactly the perfect word to describe Obama’s refusal to take the failed economy and staggering unemployment numbers seriously.”

In the meanwhile, police departments from coast-to-coast have been put of high alert in anticipation of a rash of rapes and murders as predicted by Obama’s court jester, officially known as VP Biden!
