VICTORY--A Word “They Dare Not Speak” in Obama’s War Room!

By John W. Lillpop

Unless Bob Woodward has recently sold his professional soul just to improve book sales, his description of President Obama’s attitude and policies concerning the war in Afghanistan are shocking, frightening, and should be cause for great outrage.

As reported in the Washington Post (See link), in part, about Woodward’s new book:

“According to Woodward's meeting-by-meeting, memo-by-memo account of the 2009 Afghan strategy review, the president avoided talk of victory as he described his objectives.”

In other words, Woodward portrays our alleged Commander-in-Chief as tepid to the whole notion of actually winning in Afghanistan!

Surprised?

How so, given the fact that Afghanistan is an Islamic nation and America is not—repeat NOT—at war with Islam?

Besides, everyone knows how supersensitive Obama is when it comes to actions that might “offend” Muslims.

Like the threatened Quran-burning crisis two weeks, ago when the president pleaded with Christians to listen to the voices of “better angels,” in order to pacify terrorists.

Mind you, the angels that Obama cavorts with would slit your infidel throat from ear-to-ear for even the slightest slight aimed at Allah, the Quaran, or anything Muslim.

Imagine, then, the trepidation the president must feel when assembled war experts and strategists use the V word, or come even close to suggesting a solid knock out punch to the mouths of Religion of Peace warriors!

Not cool!

Sadly, if Obama were just 1 percent as concerned about offending American citizens as he is about “pi***** off” the bad guys, his approval ratings would be off the charts, instead of in the tank.

The real outrage is that Obama’s shyness over winning the war is a betrayal of the more than 1,000 Americans who have already given their lives on the ground in Afghanistan, and the lord-knows-how-many-more will do so under the watch of a Commander-in-Chief who is more concerned about political victory in 2012 that he is with the lives of Americans.

Remember, too, 30,000 Americans were sent to war in Afghanistan by our cross-dressing Christian-Muslim president during his “surge.”

Wonder how those young men and women, and their families, feel about Obama’s aversion to victory?
