Over the years, the Republican party has made a science out of snatching certain victory from the jaws of defeat before important elections, which helps explain how a presidential poser like Barack Obama has survived politically.
Face it patriots, Republicans are their own worse enemies and can often be counted on to implode when they should prevail.
That being the case, why are Democrats not celebrating the GOP select committee investigation of the September 11, 2012 terrorist attack which killed four American diplomats in Benghazi?
Unless Obama and crew have something very sinister to hide, why would Democrats object to a “witch hunt” by the GOP which, if history is any indicator, could wipe out the GOP advantage going into the 2014 mid-term elections?
Why would any Democrat who voted for Obamacare and whom is running for reelection object to a story with the ‘legs’ to usurp Obamacare from the daily scandal reports?
Especially if the Benghazi narrative proffered by John Boehner and company is utterly false and without merit?
Why would Nancy Pelosi be so exercised if the Dems were indeed as clean as a whistle?
Why not stand by silently and let the GOP commit political suicide, as Republicans are wont to do before important elections?
