Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee(D-Texas) Spends $23K on Round-the -World Trip: Why?

Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee has never been one to moderate on anything. From her wild-left ideas to her voting record, the woman seems to believe that the voters owe her a life of luxury and posh living.

Lee’s excesses apparently extend to her reckless use of taxpayer money to travel around the world. As reported at the reference:

The House Committee on the Judiciary reported Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-Texas) traveled around the world on an official trip in February that cost $23,646. The February 16-22 trip on commercial flights was to Korea, Vietnam and Cambodia.

Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee did not travel over or back with CODEL Landrieu that included several members of the Congressional Coalition on Adoption. The delegation was to meet with local community leaders, adoption officials, and other government officials, such as the Vietnamese Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs.

Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee took commercial flights over and caught up with the delegation in Seoul, South Korea. After visiting South Korea, Vietnam and Cambodia she then left the delegation early for her return commercial fight through Frankfurt Germany.

The trip costs included $19,970 for transportation, $1,292 for per diem, and $2,385 for other purposes.

$2,385 for “other purposes,” Representative?

In an age when nearly 50 million Americans are living on food stamps and the government is in sequestration mode??

Dear, dear!

The larger question: Just what the hell does America gain by spending $23K to send a cowgirl from Texas to South Korea, Vietnam, and Cambodia? Why did she not travel with the other members of the Congressional delegation?

Good heavens, with the nation nearly $17 T in debt, is there not a more prudent way to spend taxpayer money???

What Would Ronald Reagan Think About Current Amnesty Proposal?

When President Reagan signed the Immigration Reform and Control Act (IMCA) of 1986 into law, he did so with the understanding and belief that the statute, including enforcement, would “fix” the illegal alien problem, once and for all.

In fact, President Reagan spoke with optimism about the future as reported at reference 1:

“Future generations of Americans will be thankful for our efforts to humanely regain control of our borders and thereby preserve the value of one of the most sacred possessions of our people — American citizenship.”

Unfortunately, for both America and the Gipper’s legacy, the IRCA has been an unmitigated disaster. Since IRCA became the law of the land, tens of millions of foreign illegal aliens have violated US borders, ignored immigration laws, jeopardized homeland security, and cost American taxpayers hundreds of billions of dollars.

No doubt President Reagan was counting on good-faith enforcement of the IRCA provisions which concern employers whom hire illegals, and which require government to round up and deport illegal aliens.

In his defense, Reagan had no way of knowing that his successors, both Democrat and Republican, would virtually ignore the IRCA enforcement provisions in order to provide cheap labor for business interests and future voters for the Democrat Party.

Indeed, there was no way that Reagan could foresee the day when a cabinet-level official of an ultra-liberal administration would forgo the term “Illegal immigrant,” and choose instead to advocate on behalf of invaders by labeling them “Newly Arrived Refugees,” worth of amnesty and citizenship.

Even the Gipper was not clever enough to imagine that border security and immigration enforcement would someday be turned over to the likes of Janet Napolitano!

And given Reagan’s bubbly confidence in the inherent common sense and native intelligence of the American people, it would seem impossible for him to fret about an Attorney General like Eric Holder who actually said (see reference 1) the following about illegal aliens:
“Creating a pathway to earned citizenship for the 11 million unauthorized immigrants in this country is essential. The way we treat our friends and neighbors who are undocumented – by creating a mechanism for them to earn citizenship and move out of the shadows – transcends the issue of immigration status. This is a matter of civil and human rights. It is about who we are as a nation. And it goes to the core of our treasured American principle of equal opportunity."

Would Ronald Reagan subscribe to the notion that Equal opportunity now encompasses the right to ignore a sovereign nation’s borders, defy that nation’s immigration laws, and expect to be rewarded with citizenship?

To wobbly-kneed Republicans on the cusp of joining the Barack Obama “Destroy America” brigade, ask yourself the following: How would Ronald Reagan regard the idea that illegal aliens have a “right” to US citizenship?

Answer honestly, and vote accordingly, Republicans, and the insane, anti-American immigration reform proposed by the Gang of Eight and Barack Obama will be defeated with ease.

Reject the amnesty sham, and there will remain a glimmer of hope for the Shining City on a Hill!

According to Eric Holder, Illegal Aliens Have Civil Right to US Citizenship!

With America’s ruling class about to surrender US sovereignty, the rule of law, homeland security, American language and culture, and good old-fashioned common sense to the irresistible forces of partisan politics, slave labor, and multi-cultural pap, millions of people around the globe longing to come here are greatly conflicted by two options:

1. Simply Invade: After all, US borders are mere figments of Janet Napolitano’s rich imagination and have no real meaning, certainly not to foreigners anxious to materially improve their lives, courtesy of American taxpayers.

2. Follow the Law: For the weak willed, one can follow the law and apply for the right to migrate to the US legally.

This option is rarely used because the American media, in concert with the Democrat Party, has brain- washed the world into believing that there is no path to US citizenship other than by breaking and entering and waiting for a corrupt Congress to grant amnesty as a reward for lawlessness and fraud.


The choices are particularly vexing for those who respect the rule of law and do not wish to begin their American odyssey with an illegality, which, they fear, might impact their ability to ultimately gain the coveted crown of US citizenship.

Good news for all from the lawless offices of Eric Holder!


Holder, the erstwhile Attorney General of the United States and the object of a Contempt of Congress citation for his refusal to cooperate in the investigation of the “Fast and Furious” scandal which involves illegal gun running to Mexico, murder of Mexican and American citizens, and alleged cover-up by Holder’s own Department of Justice and, perhaps, by the highest reaches of the Obama Administration, including the pathetic poser who occupies the Oval Office, said the following:

Does New Wall Hinder Sharing of Information Between Intelligence Agencies?

In the aftermath of 9/11 , Congress discovered that a “wall” had been established by the Clinton Administration to restrict vital communications between agencies responsible for protecting the American people from terror attacks.

Remember Clinton official Jamie Gorelick and her infamous wall memo, which, in part, made 9/11 possible?

Most Americans probably assume that the Gorelick wall was torn down and that the issue is moot at this point.

However, as reported at the reference, those investigating the Boston bombings are finding that the Ghost of Jamie Gorelick appears to be alive and kicking:

Share and share alike was supposed to have been a lesson learned by federal law enforcement and intelligence agencies from the 9/11 attacks almost 12 years ago.

A new hierarchy was created to draw together all the work done by more than a dozen government organizations including the FBI, CIA and others.

Now, the case of suspected Boston Marathon bomber Tamerlan Tsarnaev has caused some members of Congress, almost all of them Republicans, to suggest continuing problems with what they refer to as stovepiping -- in essence, the failure of different agencies to share what they know.
"I think there's been some stovepipes reconstructed that were probably unintentional," GOP Sen. Saxby Chambliss of Georgia told reporters this week after a briefing by the FBI deputy director. "But we've got to review that again and make sure that there is the free flow of information."

Indeed, Congress has an urgent obligation to investigate and destroy any wall even vaguely reminiscent of the notorious Gorelick wall. The urgency is even more pressing given the nature of the Obama administration which is more concerned with the rights and feelings of terrorists than it is with the health and safety of the American people.

Surprise? Political Elitists Seek Exemptions from Obamacare!

As the Obamacare disaster continues to move toward a cataclysmic date with reality that will destroy the finest medical system known to man, those with power and influence are laboring intently to exempt Congress critters and aides from the shrapnel of another Marxist entitlement program gone amuck.

Congressional leaders in both parties are engaged in high-level, confidential talks about exempting lawmakers and Capitol Hill aides from the insurance exchanges they are mandated to join as part of President Barack Obama’s health care overhaul, sources in both parties said.

The talks — which involve Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.), House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio), the Obama administration and other top lawmakers — are extraordinarily sensitive, with both sides acutely aware of the potential for political fallout from giving carve-outs from the hugely controversial law to 535 lawmakers and thousands of aides. Discussions have stretched out for months, sources said.

A source close to the talks says: “Everyone has to hold hands on this and jump, or nothing is going to get done.”

Yet if Capitol Hill leaders move forward with the plan, they risk being dubbed hypocrites by their political rivals and the American public. By removing themselves from a key Obamacare component, lawmakers and aides would be held to a different standard than the people who put them in office.”

Patriots should brace for another bill passed in the middle of the night while those whom will foot the bill sleep? Indeed, the same corrupt procedures and chicanery that was used by Obama, Reid, and Pelosi to pass Obamacare will be used again to exempt the very people who passed the monstrosity in the first place.

This must not be allowed to go unnoticed.  Republican who goes along with this outrage must be exposed and slated for defeat in the next election!

While Air-Traffic Controllers Are Furloughed, Paid Government Recruiters Sign-up Food Stamp Leeches!

In an effort to make responsible governance and fiscal sanity as painful and unattractive as possible, the Obama loons have put air-traffic controllers on furlough, thereby causing significant disruption and economic displacement.

While bedlam and confusion confront business and pleasure travelers alike, the Obama team of dullards has people on the payroll whose job it is to recruit people for feeding at the public trough through food stamps.

FORT PIERCE, Fla. — A good recruiter needs to be liked, so Dillie Nerios filled gift bags with dog toys for the dog people and cat food for the cat people. She packed crates of cookies, croissants, vegetables and fresh fruit. She curled her hair and painted her nails fluorescent pink. “A happy, it’s-all-good look,” she said, checking her reflection in the rearview mirror. Then she drove along the Florida coast to sign people up for food stamps.

Her destination on a recent morning was a 55-and-over community in central Florida, where single-wide trailers surround a parched golf course. On the drive, Nerios, 56, reviewed techniques she had learned for connecting with some of Florida’s most desperate senior citizens during two years on the job. Touch a shoulder. Hold eye contact. Listen for as long as it takes. “Some seniors haven’t had anyone to talk to in some time,” one of the state-issued training manuals reads. “Make each person feel like the only one who matters.”

In fact, it is Nerios’s job to enroll at least 150 seniors for food stamps each month, a quota she usually exceeds. Alleviate hunger, lessen poverty: These are the primary goals of her work. But the job also has a second and more controversial purpose for cash-strapped Florida, where increasing food-stamp enrollment has become a means of economic growth, bringing almost $6 billion each year into the state. The money helps to sustain communities, grocery stores and food producers. It also adds to rising federal entitlement spending and the U.S. debt.

Nerios prefers to think of her job in more simple terms: “Help is available,” she tells hundreds of seniors each week. “You deserve it. So, yes or no?”

In Florida and everywhere else, the answer in 2013 is almost always yes. A record 47 million Americans now rely on the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), also known as food stamps, available for people with annual incomes below about $15,000. The program grew during the economic collapse because 10 million more Americans dropped into poverty. It has continued to expand four years into the recovery because state governments and their partner organizations have become active promoters, creating official “SNAP outreach plans” and hiring hundreds of recruiters like Nerios.

A decade ago, only about half of eligible Americans chose to sign up for food stamps. Now that number is 75 percent.

She distributed food and SNAP brochures for three hours. “Take what you need,” she said, again and again, until the fruit started to sweat and the vegetables wilted in the late-morning heat. Just as she prepared to leave, a car pulled into the senior center and a man with a gray mustache and a tattered T-shirt opened the driver-side door. He had seen the giveaway boxes earlier in the morning but waited to return until the crowd thinned. He had just moved to Spanish Lakes. He had never taken giveaways. He looked at the boxes but stayed near his car.

“Sir, can I help?” Nerios asked. She brought over some food. She gave him her business card and a few brochures about SNAP.

“I don’t want to be another person depending on the government,” he said.

“How about being another person getting the help you deserve?” she said

Very persuasive rhetoric, indeed!  Nerios is an expert at making leeches feel good about themselves!

How To Say “Adios” in Spanish?

As corrupt Democrats and RINOs in Washington D.C. rush to sabotage American sovereignty, culture, and language by making invading criminals easy prey for votes and cheap labor, prudent Americans must ask, “What the hell is the big hurry?”

Especially in light of the Boston Massacre, why are responsible politicians not striving to find out why DHS and other Obama government agencies are unable to manage legal immigrants, before granting wholesale amnesty to those who are blatantly criminal, as evidenced by their unlawful invasion of our great nation?

Why the big hurry, Barack?

Two sinister reasons appear likely:

To begin with, Cinco de Mayo is just a couple of weeks away and unenlightened dullards in Washington would dearly love to add to the drunken celebration of the Mexicanization of America by announcing a grand, bipartisan scheme to make drunk driving and violent gangs part of the official American profile.

Secondly, with Obama’s tyrannical dictatorship growing less and less popular, the One knows that the 2014 elections are starting to look like a re-run of 2010, in which the people wisely seized the House of Representatives from the evil clutches of demented liberals like Nancy Pelosi.

Should the House remain a GOP majority in 2014, Obama knows that his last two years in office will produce few, if any, Marxist victories for touting in the Obama Memorial Library.

Because of these converging events, it seems as though the “Mexicanization of America” may not be available for unveiling by Cinco de Mayo on May 5.

Instead, the big question may well be, “How does one say ADIOS, in Spanish” to those headed home (involuntarily) from America?

Amnesty for Illegal Aliens: Another Obama “Train Wreck”?

The murderous bedlam that was Boston last week should send a clear and chilling message to the American people: The Obama administration is unable to manage the influx of legal immigrants into America, and cannot be counted on to protect we the people from radical Islam and other sources of terrorism!

That being the case, why, then, is our government unabashedly charging forward with a program of amnesty that would provide a ‘path to citizenship’ and other benefits to at least 11 million invading criminals from south of our borders?

If our government cannot manage those who come here lawfully, why in the world would responsible politicians from both parties be anxious to add millions of invading criminals to the work load of those responsible for securing we the people?

After all, it is not as though our elected officials are without work to keep them busy.

Consider: Barack Obama’s repeated assurances that the war on terror is over and that America is not at war with radical Islam have proven fundamentally and tragically wrong, resulting in death and serious injury for hundreds of spectators in Boston last week, and putting unknown millions of innocent Americans at risk.

Unemployment and the mounting federal deficit are major impediments to prosperity and growth; Iran and North Korea represent serious threats to world peace with the added dread of nuclear war very real; the government’s attempt to “infringe” on the 2nd Amendment gun rights of law-abiding Americans is pushing the nation closer and closer to civil war.

Last, but not least, ObamaCare, the signature legislation for the Obama administration is unraveling so thoroughly and rapidly that Max Baucus, one of the Democrat originators of the bill, now refers to it a “Train wreck.”

Given all of this, is it not time to step back, take a deep breath, and reconsider the whole issue of illegal aliens and the likely consequences that will ensue if the dreadful mistakes of the past few years are repeated in the area of illegal aliens?

The more prudent course would be to delay immigration reform and instead enforce existing law before giving 11 million criminals a pass on the rule of law!

Can America really afford another train wreck from the Obama administration?

Condolences to David Sirota and Fellow Leftists: Boston Bomber NOT Lilly White!

American blood was still flowing through Boylston Street in Boston when an article titled, “Let’s Hope the Boston Bomber Is a White American” was published in the left-wing rag known as Salon magazine last Tuesday.

The author of this provocative drivel was David Sirota a white male, apparently disenchanted with his race (he is white) and perhaps his nationality as well.

In his article, Sirota took the American media and public to the word shed for engaging in the crime of “white privilege,” which, in his righteous view, wrongfully blames “Religion of Peace,” Muslims for the violent deeds of Bible-thumping, toothless, white Americans.

Sirota wrote, among other things, at the reference:

If recent history is any guide, if the bomber ends up being a white anti-government extremist, white privilege will likely mean the attack is portrayed as just an isolated incident — one that has no bearing on any larger policy debates. Put another way, white privilege will work to not only insulate whites from collective blame, but also to insulate the political debate from any fallout from the attack.

It will probably be much different if the bomber ends up being a Muslim and/or a foreigner from the developing world. As we know from our own history, when those kind of individuals break laws in such a high-profile way, America often cites them as both proof that entire demographic groups must be targeted, and that therefore a more systemic response is warranted. At that point, it’s easy to imagine conservatives citing Boston as a reason to block immigration reform defense spending cuts and the Afghan War withdrawal and to further expand surveillance and other encroachments on civil liberties.”

Condolences and black roses are due Sirota: His “make a wish” hate speech turned out completely bass- ackwards as the Boston bombers ended up being Jihadist bozos, also known as ethnic Chechen immigrants.

Yes, the youngest bomber was an American citizen, as of September 11, 2012. Still, the lack of a white connection must be highly distressing to Sirota and his kind.

In fact, it is easy to imagine liberals citing Boston as a reason to demand greater diversity among FBI agents, since the agents in Boston were clearly involved in the Unconstitutional practice of racial profiling with a special bias against Chechen immigrants.

Liberals will also use Boston as justification for declaring that Boston police were guilty of abuse of power which should prompt repeal of the 2nd Amendment and immediate release of the surviving “White Hat” terrorist.

So it is that we Americans continue to mature and grow as the Obama administration makes terrorism in our streets the new reality!

In Light of Boston Massacre, Time Is Right to Nix Amnesty for Invading Criminals!

The murderous bedlam that converted Boston into a domestic killing field for Islamic terrorists last week should send a clear and chilling message to the American people: Which is that the Obama administration has neither the ability nor desire to manage the influx of legal immigrants into America, and cannot be counted on to protect we the people from radical Islam and other sources of terrorism!

That being the case, why, then, is our government staggering forward with a program of amnesty that would provide a ‘path to citizenship’ and other benefits to at least 11 million invading criminals from south of our borders?

Why Is Janet Napolitano Still on the Federal Payroll?

Janet Napolitano is supposed to be in charge of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS.) That is what her office letterhead alleges, and that is presumably what she is paid for.

However, after one of the most harrowing weeks in the history of terrorism in America’s homeland and the dismal failure of Napolitano’s DHS to defend or secure anything, the lady should be on a fast track to unemployment.

In a fair and reasonable world, she should be escorted to the exit immediately and forever banned from government employment.

But the world is neither fair nor reasonable, and Napolitano's boss, Barack Obama, is nearly as dysfunctional and incompetent as the lady herself.

Over the past few days, the entire city of Boston has been held hostage by two Muslim radicals, one of whom was convicted of a crime and whom could (should?) have been deported years ago.

Unfortunately, the deportation process allows Napolitano discretion in determining whom actually gets the heave ho!

Even more unfortunate is the fact that Napolitano has a political aversion to deporting anyone whom does not meet her dubious definition of “imminent threat,” which is limited to Tea Party members and right-wing activists who openly oppose abortion, higher taxes, and efforts to infringe on the 2nd Amendment gun rights of law-abiding citizens.

During her tenure at DHS, Napolitano has worked feverishly to convince Congress that the US- Mexico border is secure, despite the mountain of evidence to the contrary, and has unilaterally redefined illegal aliens from south of our borders as “Newly Arrived Refugees,” for the sole purpose of growing the Democrat Party.

“Nappy” has little or no interest in protecting American citizens from legitimate threats; left to her own devices, she would deport people for the crime of home schooling while leaving Mexican drug cartels unscathed in America’s heartland!

Congress should tend to the urgent business of revising immigration laws so as to prevent people whom have no history of intelligent discretion from acting as though they do.

Janet Napolitano is an abject failure, which is why she fits in so well in the Obama administration. She is more of a deterrent to Homeland Security than she is to terrorism.

She must be relieved of her duties for the good of America and we the people!

How Can Authorities Protect Citizens Against Terrorists with Barack Obama as Commander-in-Chief?

Over the past four plus years, Barack Obama has repeatedly gone out of his way to declare that the United States is NOT at war with Islam, despite all evidence to the contrary.

Even more distressing, Obama apparently refuses to accept the fact that Islam IS, by its own admission, at war with America!

This bone-headed refusal to face truth may be instrumental in the loss of innocent Americans lives, perhaps even including the tragic events in Boston this week.

The big question: How much more spilled American blood will it take to convince Barack Obama that 1)the war on terror is not over, 2) the war is now being fought on the streets of America, and 3)adherents of radical Islam are dedicated enemies of American and Americans?

Also, when will the US Congress face the fact that Barack Obama has deliberately refused to “defend the nation against all enemies, foreign and domestic” and has chosen to shred, rather than defend, the US Constitution?

Harry Reid: Battle Over Gun Rights Driven by ‘Imagined Tyranny’

Never overestimate Senator Harry Reid: There’s a lot less there than meets the eye!

As proof positive of Reid’s abject incompetence consider this statement from the floor of the US Senate yesterday during the successful vote to turn back Barack Obama and the gun-grabbing goons:

“And I will vote for the ban because saving the lives of young police officers and innocent civilians is more important than preventing imagined tyranny.” See reference 1.

Imagined tyranny, Senator?

Have you forgotten the Obama-Pelosi-Reid Marxist health care nightmare which was passed against the wishes of the American people and despite stern warnings from conservatives of both parties, Senator?

It is called ObamaCare, sir, perhaps the most hideous example of REAL tyranny ever dumped on the American people by elected ‘representatives,’ whom wisely exempted themselves and their families from the third-world devastation to medicine passed by fiat in the twilight hours of Washington, D.C.

Perhaps you, in your declining years, Senator, still take pride in replacing the world’s greatest health care system with Marxist tyranny.

However, fellow Democrat Max Baucus does not share your foolish pride. He sees an imminent train wreck as the Obama administration struggles to implement the 2000 pages of idiocy that Nancy Pelosi urged passage of so that “we could learn what’s in it.”

Baucus pressed Sebelius for details about how the Health Department will explain the law and raise awareness of its provisions, which are supposed to take effect in just a matter of months.

Had ObamaCare been subject to the normal procedures for Democratic debate, the damn thing would have been incinerated before it was promulgated!

But that is what happens when real tyranny rules, driven by the desire to create a legacy for an unqualified community organizer posing as president!

Then we have the matter of 20 million or so illegal foreign aliens nesting in America at a cost of $113 billion a year to the American taxpayers besides threatening home land security and American culture.

These invaders should have been sent home long ago, but because of tyranny and corruption, they remain an albatross around the necks of law-abiding citizens and the whole concept of rule of law in America.

Fair and Balanced—and Completely Wrong!

What the hell is going on with the “news” these days? Have all of the talking heads gone mad at the same time?

It started before noon on Wednesday when “journalists” from LA to New York reported that a ‘suspect’ had been identified in the Boston Marathon bombing nightmare.

Soon, that escalated into a “Breaking News Alert” which informed we the naïve that the suspect would soon be arrested and taken to a federal courthouse in Boston.

Like the mindless sheep that they truly are, the professionals at CNN, MSNC, and yes, Fox, all descended on a court house in Boston waiting for the bomber dude (its ALWAYS a HE!) to be dragged to the halls of justice to atone for ruining an otherwise perfect Patriots’ day on Monday.

With bated breath, we waited for a dark-skinned, young, bearded  male with a middle-eastern accent to emerge,  handcuffed, from an air-conditioned police car in front of that courthouse to begin what would surely be the 20-to-30 year process needed to deliver justice in America.

Which is not all that unreasonable considering the time that it takes Obama to force the word “Terrorism” through of his Marxist, Jihadist throat!

Meanwhile our erstwhile “hosts” and unemployed experts entertained us with stupid speculation about whether this Muslim mad man had been advised of his Miranda rights?

Was he an American citizen or just another undocumented Democrat in deep dodo? Were his rights being protected in accordance with the Constitution and Bill of Rights? Was there obvious police brutality involved?

Would he be shipped to GITMO or forced to starve in Boston?

On and on this mayhem went, interrupted only for the mandatory three minute commercial break, delivered after just a few seconds or so of expert analysis and commentary.

Finally the dummies reached a consensus: BREAKING NEWS: There has been no arrest and we have no idea what the hell is happening!

First honest reporting of the day!

With all due respect to the unemployable air heads at CNN, MSNBC, and all the rest, the old slogan, “No News Is Good News!” seems to be especially true in this the age of Misinformation.

Liberal Sentiment Exposed: ‘Let’s Hope Boston Bomber Is White American’

Most decent Americans continue to mourn the injuries and loss of life suffered at the Boston Marathon. Indeed, decent, patriotic Americans are still in shock over the tragedy, and continue to pray for the victims and their families.

There are exceptions, of course. Some dim-witted liberals are trying to blame  the sequestration fiasco for the carnage, as if Marathon officials deliberately pulled back on security just to save a few pennies, driven by the GOP obsession with old-school notions like frugality, financial accountability, and the fiduciary responsibility of elected officials with respect to taxpayer money.

Regrettably, morally-despicable extremists on the left are even expressing profound hatred for the Caucasian race and hope that the Boston Bomber will turn out to be a white American!

What inspired, elevated thought from the birds on the left at a time of deep national loss and fear!

As reported at the reference, the demented left is well represented at Salon magazine which published the following hate speech and vitriol:

As we now move into the official Political Aftermath period of the Boston bombing — the period that will determine the long-term legislative fallout of the atrocity — the dynamics of privilege will undoubtedly influence the nation’s collective reaction to the attacks. That’s because privilege tends to determine: 1) which groups are — and are not — collectively denigrated or targeted for the unlawful actions of individuals; and 2) how big and politically game-changing the overall reaction ends up being.
This has been most obvious in the context of recent mass shootings. In those awful episodes, a religious or ethnic minority group lacking such privilege would likely be collectively slandered and/or targeted with surveillance or profiling (or worse) if some of its individuals comprised most of the mass shooters. However, white male privilege means white men are not collectively denigrated/targeted for those shootings — even though most come at the hands of white dudes.

Likewise, in the context of terrorist attacks, such privilege means white non-Islamic terrorists are typically portrayed not as representative of whole groups or ideologies, but as “lone wolf” threats to be dealt with as isolated law enforcement matters. Meanwhile, non-white or developing-world terrorism suspects are often reflexively portrayed as representative of larger conspiracies, ideologies and religions that must be dealt with as systemic threats — the kind potentially requiring everything from law enforcement action to military operations to civil liberties legislation to foreign policy shifts.

“White privilege is knowing that even if the bomber turns out to be white, no one will call for your group to be profiled as terrorists as a result, subjected to special screening or threatened with deportation,” writes author Tim Wise. “White privilege is knowing that if this bomber turns out to be white, the United States government will not bomb whatever corn field or mountain town or stale suburb from which said bomber came, just to ensure that others like him or her don’t get any ideas. And if he turns out to be a member of the Irish Republican Army we won’t bomb Dublin. And if he’s an Italian-American Catholic we won’t bomb the Vatican.”

Because of these undeniable and pervasive double standards, the specific identity of the Boston Marathon bomber (or bombers) is not some minor detail — it will almost certainly dictate what kind of governmental, political and societal response we see in the coming weeks. That means regardless of your particular party affiliation, if you care about everything from stopping war to reducing the defense budget to protecting civil liberties to passing immigration reform, you should hope the bomber was a white domestic terrorist. Why? Because only in that case will privilege work to prevent the Boston attack from potentially undermining progress on those other issues.”

The author of this illuminating perspectivel is David Sirota who is obviously bitterly ashamed of his race (he is white) and desperately needs a racial make over as soon as possible.

In the interim, law enforcement would be well advised to keep a careful watch on Sirota to assure that this guilt –laden liberal nut ball does not make an impulsive purchase of a pressure cooker and or black back pack.

Immigration Reform Must Prohibit Dual Citizenship!

One of the most overlooked issues in the mad rush to grant amnesty to illegal aliens is the thorny issue of dual citizenship. It is well known that Latino illegal aliens, in particular those from Mexico, have strong emotional and cultural ties to their nations of origin.

This could pose a serious threat to American interests should hostilities between Mexico and the United States ensue. It has been recorded that a significant percentage of Mexicans living in America as US citizens would be inclined to support Mexico in any such conflict.

Therefore, any reform of our immigration system which allows foreign invaders to become US citizens MUST prohibit all such invaders from maintaining dual citizenship with any other nation.

After all, illegal aliens have violated US borders, ignored our laws, and thumbed their noses at the notion of US sovereignty and superior American culture.

Thus, it is only prudent to safeguard against those who might seek to subvert the interests of America and Americans during future conflicts.

Bottom Line: Dual citizenship must be prohibited for any and all illegal aliens seeking amnesty!

Required Corrective Measures: 

In order to remedy the government-caused grievances identified above, the undersigned citizen further petitions the president and the Congress to implement the following measures, immediately:

(1) Legislate a Constitutional Amendment that specifically prohibits the president and Congress from merging the interests of the United States with those of Canada and Mexico in a North American Union, Security and Prosperity Partnership, or other arrangement which would diminish the absolute sovereignty and independence of the United States;

(2) Secure the borders between the United States and Mexico with sufficient military force to prevent the unlawful entry of any person(s) onto sovereign American soil;

(3) Suspend all applications for legal immigration until the population of illegal aliens in America is certified to be at least 85 percent less than the number of illegal aliens granted amnesty as a result of the Immigration Reform and Control Act(IRCA) of 1986;

(4) Amend the Constitution such that "Anchor Babies," children born to those here illegally, are classified as illegal aliens and not entitled to any benefits or advantages accruing to United States citizens, and are furthermore subject to deportation in the same manner as are adult illegal aliens;

(5) Enforce all existing immigration laws, including those pertaining to deportation of illegal aliens;

(6) Provide for the arrest and long-term incarceration of any employer who, through negligence or willful non-compliance, fails to assure that all persons hired by said employer have a legal right to work in the United States. Willful violations of IRCA provisions in this area shall be adjudicated as serious criminal acts involving homeland security;

(7) Enact new laws to make illegal entry and residency in the United States a felony, punishable by five years in federal prison and a $500,000 fine for a first conviction, followed by deportation to the nation of origin.

( Any subsequent conviction for illegal entry and or residency shall be punishable by immediate deportation, and permanent designation as an avowed enemy of the United States and, as such, unwelcome within the United States for any commercial, social, or familial purpose, excepting only when ordered by a law enforcement authority for the purpose of prosecution or punishment, and provided that said illegal alien shall be under arrest and under the control of law enforcement at all times;

(9) Prohibit disbursement of any and all federal funds to cities designated by local officials as "Sanctuary Cities" for illegal aliens;

(10) Designate English as the official language of the United States, and the only language to be used by local, state, and federal governments, including voting materials and ballots.

(11) Prohibit the expenditure of tax-payer money for creating, printing, publishing or otherwise producing any documents or materials in any language other than English.


The state of this union is untenable and must not continue.

Senator Jeff Sessions appears to be one of the very few members of the US Congress who actually has the interests of the American people in mind when it comes to the issue of illegal aliens and immigration reform.

In keeping with his reputation as a solid “America First” patriot, Sessions has made public a list of 10 questions which he believes must be answered before immigration reform is codified.

Given the nightmare that is currently unfolding with respect to ObamaCare, Sessions’ questions must be taken seriously to avoid another “we have to pass it to find out what’s in it” moment brought to the American people by the looney Nancy Pelosi.

Sessions demands answers to the following questions:

1. Is this bill enforcement first or legalization first?
2.What are the concrete metrics used to measure border security?
3. Does the bill complete the border fence and secure all ports of entry?
4. Who gets amnesty and how many?
5. How will the bill impact American workers and wages?
6. Is the guest worker program truly temporary?
7. Does the bill put a stop to sanctuary cities and resume cooperation with local law enforcement?
8. How does the bill guarantee that the Administration will not ignore future laws as it has with the laws already on the books?
9. How does the bill ensure that federal public charge law is enforced and that illegal immigrants do not access the welfare state through the granting of green cards and citizenship?
10. What is the long-term cost of the bill?

Mexico: America's Foreign Enemy!

Mexico is obviously a foreign nation, and is also a third-world, socialist nation, which because of corruption, greed, and incompetence, is unable to feed, educate, and provide minimal health care to its citizens.

Rather than reforming the political and economic policies that make Mexico a failure, the elitist socialists that govern Mexico have decided to "redistribute" America's wealth to 12-40 million peasants who have invaded America across the border.

Mexico's outrageous disregard for American borders and immigration law clearly makes that nation a "foreign enemy."

The unlawful invasion by Mexican citizens, encouraged by the Mexican government, results in great harm to America's homeland security, economic and cultural stability, and the rule of law.

Again: Mexico is an ENEMY OF THE UNITED STATES.

Immediate action must be taken to protect the American people from the undeclared war being waged against our interests by Mexico.

The Zany Liberal Mindset: Make the Illegal Legal and Outlaw That Which the Constitution Protects!

Just how zany, off center, and out of touch are Barack Obama and most Democrats?

Consider that the Democrat Party is almost unanimously in favor of pandering to tens of millions of foreign invaders who have violated US borders, thumbed their noses at our laws, refuse for the most part to assimilate into our culture and learn our language, cost taxpayers hundreds of billions of dollars each year, and downgrade national security and American sovereignty.

Most of these invaders remain spiritually committed to their nations of origin, and would support same should hostilities between those nations and the US ensue.

Despite all of this, Democrats are most eager to grant citizenship and, ultimately voting rights, to foreign invaders who have no business being here and who bring little if any strength to the nation.

On the other hand, when it comes to rights specifically guaranteed by the US Constitution and which holds that the rights of citizens to bear arms shall not be infringed, Obama and the Marxist left is mostly committed to ignoring the Constitution in order stifle the rights and will of the people.

Once again, it appears that zombies on the left got it backwards!

Obama and the government should be enforcing the rule of law by hunting down and deporting any and all illegal aliens!

And, the Obama administration, sworn to protect and defend the Constitution, should at the same time be defending the 2nd Amendment rights of citizens by opposing ill-conceived laws, and a particularly off-center US Senator from California,  from attempting to circumvent the 2nd Amendment!

Come on Obama! Defend the 2nd Amendment and enforce existing immigration laws.

Where Is Black Outrage Over Atlanta Test Cheating Scandal?

Teachers and others in the education community in Atlanta have been charged with an unspeakable crime: Robbing children, mostly poor African-Americans, of the opportunity to gain insight into their progress, or lack thereof, in learning within the public school system.

 

Unbelievably, professional teachers and higher education officials, engaged in a monstrous conspiracy to deliberately falsify test scores to create the impression that certain schools were making progress in improving test scores.

 

As reported at the reference, this outrageous behavior has inflected enormous harm on the very students it purported to help: Poor, black students:

According to The New York Times, the scandal goes beyond cheating. Retired district superintendent Beverly L. Hall is among 35 Atlanta educators indicted by a Fulton County grand jury. Ms. Hall was charged with "racketeering, theft, influencing witnesses, conspiracy and making false statements." Ms. Hall reportedly earned more than $500,000 in performance bonuses. She faces up to 45 years in prison.

Ms. Hall has received considerable recognition for her achievements, which later turned out to be counterfeit. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan invited her to the White House. In 2009, The American Association of School Administrators named her superintendent of the year. It was a case of something being too good to check. Who doesn't want to see poor and minority children succeed in school? It appears these teachers cared more about themselves than the children. Even the reliably liberal and pro-public school columnist Eugene Robinson is disturbed. Writing in The Washington Post, Mr. Robinson says, "It is time to acknowledge that the fashionable theory of school reform -- requiring that pay and job security for teachers, principals and administrators depend on their students' standardized test scores -- is at best a well-intentioned mistake, and at worst nothing but a racket."
Mr. Robinson quotes Post education reporter Valerie Strauss, who has written that while there have been "dozens" of allegations of cheating around the country, "only Atlanta's has been aggressively and thoroughly investigated." Ms. Strauss wrote, "We don't really know" how widespread the problem might be. Isn't it long past time to find out?"

 

In the era of entitlement mania where 47 % of the population do not work or pay taxes, how in the hell is it possible to convince young folks to work hard and get a good education when Beverly L. Hall is paid $500,000 for implementing policies that make hard work and education meaningless?

 

Black children face difficult odds in today’s world. How does it in any way help these needy youth by covering up their true needs with fraudulent test scores?

 

And where is the rage from Reverends Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, and the Congressional Black Congress over the fraud which cheats young blacks?

 

Where is President Obama on this racist crime spree?

 

Why are black leaders not outraged that teachers and managers like Beverly L. Hall are, in effect, saying that black children are not bright enough to learn without cheating?

Permanent Disability: The Only Hope for American Workers Under Obama?

America’s decline into a haven for those seeking income without the inconvenience of working gained momentum in March as the Obama Recovery continues to sputter and spin in the wrong direction.

Adding to the Obama-chaos, a most ominious sign surfaced: The number of people signing up for permanent disability nearly equaled the number of those who found gainful employment during March.

This disconcerting news was reported at the reference thusly:

Almost as many people signed up with the federal government's permanent worker disability program as got jobs in March, according to two sets of government data, continuing a troubling trend throughout the Obama recovery.

Last month, 81,804 workers left the workforce to join the Social Security Disability Insurance program. So far this year, nearly a quarter million workers have joined the program.

Over the past four years, 4 million left the workforce to go on disability. Even after accounting for those who dropped out of the program because of death or retirement, the ranks of the disabled have shot up more than 1.4 million under Obama.

Today, the ranks of the disabled number 8.8 million, and when you add in children and spouses, the number climbs to 10.9 million.

Economists generally agree that the anemic recovery under President Obama has driven legions of workers who have been unable to find work to seek out the SSDI program.

"When opportunities for employment are plentiful, some people who could quality for (disability insurance) benefits find working more attractive," the Congressional Budget Office noted in a recent report on the program, adding that "when employment opportunities are scarce, some of these people participate in the DI program instead."

Since the recovery officially started in June 2009, more than 9 million have dropped out of the labor force, either because they retired, gave up looking for work, or signed up with a program like SSDI. This year alone, the number of people who aren't in the labor force shot up 959,000.

As a result, the labor force participation rate, which measures the number of people working or actively looking to the entire working age population, has fallen to 63.3%, from 65.7% at the start of the Obama recovery. That's the lowest level for this indicator since 1978.

The concern about so many signing up for disability is that almost none ever end up returning to the workforce. It's a problem the even the White House has expressed concern about.

In an economic report issued in 2011 the administration noted because "workers on SSDI rarely return to the labor force," this can result "in a loss to society of the economic contribution those workers could have made."

Even more depressing, the number of Americans on disability is in addition to the nearly 50 million that are on food stamps, a number that has reached epedemic proportions since Barack Obama took office.

Thus, the Obama economy kills millions of jobs with higher taxes and reckless spending, and then aggravates the problem further by adding millions of the people it has displaced to the public dole through food stamps and disability!

ObamaNomics: A self-perpetuating cycle of economic ruin!

One last dreadful thought: As bad as the numbers are, the devastation can only grow worse as the Marxist poison known as ObamaCare becomes a reality.

Obama Voluntary Salary Cut Makes Mockery of “Fair Share”

Over the past four years, President Obama has spent an inordinate amount of time at the Bully Pulpit preaching about the responsibility of the rich to pay what he calls their “Fair share,” a progressive euphemism for class warfare, higher taxes,  and seizure of greater and greater amounts of private wealth by government for redistribution to Democrat Party constituents.

It is of the same moral fabric as the Cypriot bank thievery, sans the transparency!

Obama’s dubious commitment to both deficit reduction and fair share thinking have not profited from his recent propoganda that he is voluntarily returning 5% of his income to the Treasury as a symbol of solidarity with other government workers and the American people.

Five percent, Mr. President?  

You are paid an annual salary of $400,000 and you are willing to part with all of $20,000 to share in the pain which your policies are causative?

Are you serious, sir?

Why not a “fair share,” sir, on the order of say 50 percent, or a cool $200,000?

Surely you and Michelle can afford it?

Admittedly, you may have to cut back on golfing dates with Tiger Woods, or take fewer, less ostentatious vacations.   Perhaps the girls would learn the true meaning of sacrifice by attending public, rather than costly, private schools?

How about putting a damper on Michelle’s extravagant expenditures on clothing, trips, and other personal luxury?

You see? Just as with the taxpayers’ money, It CAN be done, provided one has the will to try!

One Word Retort to the Google Easter Day Blasphemy!

Google’s tin-ear assault on the most Holy religious holiday in Christendom (Easter) in favor of heralding the birthday of a leftist union organizer (Cesar Chavez) of little note or importance, has spawned an epidemic of wailing and gnashing of teeth within the Christian community.

Many of the indignant Faithful are organizing protest marches, writing letters to the editor, and boycotting California fruit to send a message, loud and clear, to the Google Doodle savants who work in ivory towers on the Google campus in the God-forsaken Bay Area.

Relax, brothers and sisters!

A simple, one-word retort will suffice to put the Googleites in their place:

The word?  BING!

And so it is!

More Important on Easter Sunday: Resurrection of Jesus Christ, or Birth of Cesar Chavez?

One is arguably the most beloved, well-known, and memorialized figure in human history. The other is a somewhat ordinary man, known for advocating on behalf of farm workers in California.

The former is, of course, Jesus Christ, known for voluntarily shedding his very blood for the salvation of all of human kind from sin. Christians believe Jesus to have been God incarnate, the most pure, precious, loving being to have ever walked on the face of earth.

The later was, by all accounts  a decent, spiritual man and devout follower of Jesus Christ during his life.  However, Cesar Chavez is not remembered as being deity or God incarnate, except by a very small number of extremists sulking in the vineyards of California!

So, on Easter Day, whom should be the central figure? Jesus Christ or Cesar Chavez?

An ALL TOO EASY proposition for the overwhelming majority, but not for dunderheads in charge of doodles at Google.

Google is taking heat for its Easter Sunday doodle – that cartoon modification of its logo that changes from day to day.

Today, (Easter Sunday) the middle letter is a round portrait of the late migrant farm labor union leader Cesar Chavez.

Like many such doodles, it comes on the birthday of the subject. Mr. Chavez was born March 31, 1927 in Yuma, Arizona.

But appearing on Easter – one of the holiest days for hundreds of millions of Christians around the world – the Chavez Google doodle has set off a mini-storm of protest, including (inevitably) in the twitterverse.

Some examples:

“Unbelievable! Their true colors are showing! Yahoo here I come!”
“Damn Google…. No Easter wishes from those Atheists.”
“A huge BOOO!! to Google for making their holiday doodle about Cesar Chavez's 86th birthday instead of Easter (celebrated by over a billion).”
“I've got nothing against Cesar Chavez, but even Chavez was a Catholic. I doubt he'd want Google to recognize him on Resurrection Day.”
“Better a dead lefty, them a risen Lord.”
“Google uses Caesar Chavez on Easter instead of using something Easter related? Okay, I'm switching to Bing.”
Apparently confusing Cesar Chavez with Hugo Chavez, the late president of Venezuela, one wrote: “Google can't celebrate Easter but can celebrate a dictator's birthday?!”
But there’s been more thoughtful comment as well, unlimited by the snappy 140-character Twitter format – much of it alluding to Chavez’s own Christian religion
“Google’s odd choice should remind us that whatever one thinks of Chavez’s politics, they are impossible to understand apart from his belief in the resurrected Christ,” writes Matthew Schmitz, deputy editor of First Things, an ecumenical journal published by The Institute on Religion and Public Life.
“As a Christian, Chavez believed that the first revolution had to be a revolution of the soul, which meant that personal sacrifices were demanded – not just of the oppressor, but of the oppressed,” writes Mr. Schmitz. “For Chavez, social reform was never merely external. Without peace of spirit and purity of heart, there was little point in pursuing justice. Collective bargaining, just wages, shorter workdays: for Chavez none of these made sense outside the fact of his risen Lord.”
Although Chavez has been gone for 20 years, he continues to be remembered as an important figure in US history.

          Cesar Chavez Day, is a state holiday in California, Colorado, and Texas.

President Obama has proclaimed March 31 as “Cesar Chavez Day” and designated the 105-acre “Cesar E. Chavez National Monument” in Kern County, California farm country.

         Mr. Obama’s campaign rallying cry – “Yes, we can!” – echoed the UFW’s “Sí, se puede.”

Leave it to Barack Obama to denigrate the most important day in Christian history in order to pander to Hispanic voters, illegal aliens, and labor unions!

Shame on both Barack Obama AND Google!
