According to government sources, approximately 11 million Americans receive benefits and are not required to work owing to medical disabilities, both physical and emotional.
Most on disability are ordinary, working-class Americans who wield little political power or influence in American society.
However, there is a prominent leader of the Democrat Party who “serves” in the US House of Representatives and whose bizarre behavior suggests that she should be isolated and placed on disability for the greater good and overall benefit of the America people.
That would be Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-San Francisco) who has made a career out of issuing outlandish, even stupid, statements on a variety of subjects, including her declaration that late-term abortion was “sacred ground”, even though she claims to be a devoted Catholic.
Pelosi’s tendency toward the eccentric devolved into a major breach of decorum on the floor of the US House last Friday when Pelosi took umbrage with statements made by Representative Tom Marino (R-PA), who during a debate over the bitter border crisis, recited the fact that while the House and Senate had been in Democrat hands, they’d done nothing to address immigration.
This did not sit well with Nancy Pelosi, who began interrupting, and eventually freaked out in a major breach of decorum.
From ABC News:
“We don’t have law and order,” Marino began as he wrapped up his comments on the border supplemental. “My colleagues on the other side don’t want to do anything about it.”
“You know something that I find quite interesting about the other side? Under the leadership of the former Speaker [Pelosi], and under the leadership of their former leader [Rep. Steny Hoyer], when in 2009 and 2010, they had the House, the Senate and the White House, and they knew this problem existed,” he continued. “They didn’t have the strength to go after it back then. But now are trying to make a political issue out of it now.”
At this point, Pelosi approached Marino, interrupted him, and began shouting something about how this wasn’t true. When a progressive standard bearer like the former Speaker begins yelling, it’s usually a good sign that you’ve hit the mark - something Marino noted.
“Yes it is true,” Marino replied directly to Pelosi, who was House speaker in those years. “I did the research on it. You might want to try it. You might want to try it, Madam Leader. Do the research on it. Do the research. I did it. That’s one thing that you don’t do.”
Marino concluded his remarks, but Pelosi wasn’t done yet. She kept yelling, pointing, and generally melting down - in full view of the cameras. Eventually, she even followed Marino up the aisle on the Republican side of the House in order to continue her finger-jabbing rant. GOP members had to get between the pair in order to calm things down.”
What a spectacle!
Pelosi, a 73 year-old-grandmother and solid Marxist actually had to be restrained from pursuing an elected member of Congress who dared express a view contrary to her own.
Surely if anyone needs to be on disability and off the public payroll, that person should be the wild lunatic from San Francisco, Nancy Pelosi!
