Strauss-Kahn’s Invaluable Lesson Learned: Look Before You Leap!

John W. Lillpop

If IMF chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn is guilty of the sex crimes with which he has been charged, this high-profile, jet-setting candidate for the presidency of France may have unwittingly provided other criminally insane brethren with an invaluable heads-up “Lesson Learned.”

The lesson: Know thy victim and look before you leap!

As reported at the reference, in part:

IMF chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn may have more to worry about than a possible prison sentence.

The IMF chief's alleged sex-assault victim lives in a Bronx apartment rented exclusively for adults with HIV or AIDS, The Post has learned.

The hotel maid, a West African immigrant, has occupied the fourth-floor High Bridge pad with her 15-year-old daughter since January -- and before that, lived in another Bronx apartment set aside by Harlem Community AIDS United strictly for adults with the virus and their families.

Strauss-Kahn has clearly not kept up with important changes sweeping across the globe.

Because of AIDS and other STDs, assaulting a poor black woman for sex is now a high-risk venture, unlike the days when a powerful, moneyed white man could whet his appetite for sex at will, with no concern about being held accountable.

The dreaded AIDS virus plays no favorites based on class, wealth, or power. That may be the greatest legacy left by the befuddled frog now spending days and nights in a New York jail cell!
