Wrong-minded progressive policies have, over the years, produced a devastating impact in the areas of education, homeland security, financial solvency, and public safety.
No where has the ruin been more dramatic than in the once great state of California which has been whittled down to a pauper state, akin to that third-world failed state just south of the Golden State border.
In particular, the manner by which illegal immigration and the death penalty have been administered at the federal and state levels have left California in a perpetual state of financial emergency and social distress.
Now, California’s “chickens are coming home to roost” in a most disturbing fashion as reported at the reference, in part:
“WASHINGTON — The Supreme Court ordered California on Monday to release tens of thousands of its prisoners to relieve overcrowding, saying that "needless suffering and death" had resulted from putting too many inmates into facilities that cannot hold them in decent conditions.
It is one of the largest prison release orders in the nation's history, and it sharply split the high court.
Justices upheld an order from a three-judge panel in California that called for releasing 38,000 to 46,000 prisoners. Since then, the state has transferred about 9,000 state inmates to county jails. As a result, the total prison population is now about 32,000 more than the capacity limit set by the panel.”
Approximately 30 percent of California’s inmate population are illegal invaders, people who have no business being here. Many are violent actors guilty of murders and rapes.
Will those responsible for carrying out the orders from Supreme Court take action to deport illegal aliens to Mexico, Guatemala and other nations of origin?
Or will the ACLU and other anti-American loons argue that it would be unfair to deport illegals and that said felons should remain in California?
With leftist moon bats in the mix, DO NOT BET ON COMMON SENSE OR PRO-AMERICAN BEHAVIOR!
Adding to California’s misery is the fact that leftist activist judges have essentially shut down the execution of justice (pun intended!) by holding the death penalty hostage to idiotic concerns about how much “pain” is involved in lethal injections.
To begin with, the death penalty is supposed to be painful! For goodness sakes, the objective is to kill a person against his or her choice. That will almost always involve pain-—which is as it should be.
Besides, how much “pain” can be involved in an injection that resembles a flu shot? In my view, lethal injection produces inadequate pain to atone for the violent, heathen behavior of convicted murderers.
The solution? In order to implement the court order, all inmates who have been on death row for at least five years and whom have been through at least one appeal hearing should be scheduled for lethal injection within the next 60 days.
Let the ruin of California serve as a warning to all Americans: Progressive policies can not be implemented without destroying civilized society.
Let the deportations and executions begin!
