Moral Compass Used by Progressives Needs Calibration!

By John W. Lillpop

According to progressive “moralists” whose great mission in life since 9/11 was to plunder former President George W. Bush, the use of enhanced interrogation techniques, including water boarding, is morally repugnant, and not in the best interests of America.

Even when such procedure is employed on terrorist heathen such as Khalid Sheikh Mohammed in order to secure intelligence that could save innocent lives, the left recoils in horror.

Progressive logic holds that if the U.S. military employs torture, said practice automatically licenses terrorists to do the same to Americans held captive. That specious argument fails to recognize that Islamofascists have no comparable regard for the sanctity of human life and feel no compunction to exercise fairness and decency in kind, regardless of circumstance.

Progressive moral hypocrisy was on full display with the killing of Osama bin Laden.

To wit, if is not OK to water board a scum like Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, how in the world can it be OK, morally, to blow the skull off of Osama bin Laden, apparently unarmed, in front of his family?

Once again, the acceptability of the moral compass used the left is entirely dependent on the party affiliation of the president.

Even when it comes to death issues at time of war, the left is partisan, hypocritical, and pathetic.
