What Exactly Is Obama “Exit Strategy” for ISIS War?

Weeks ago, Barack Obama took to national television to inform America and the world of his grand “strategy” for dealing with ISIS, the deadliest  terrorist organization in the history of the planet. 

Will all of the gall and arrogance of a heavily-decorated, career veteran whose specialty is war, the naïve leader of the free world let it be known that his strategy was to “degrade” and “destroy” the Islamic State, which, the Muslim-sympathizing president reminded us, is neither Islamic nor a state.

To those who know the devious, deceitful side of Obama, this was simply another elaborate head fake, disguised as a military plan. Furthermore, the Obama strategy was missing a key element: An exit strategy.

Why is an exit strategy important, you ask? 

It is important because, Pentagon sources are saying the Obama war could last years!

Is the American public ready for another Middle-East war that could last years?
As reported:

Briefing reporters on the strikes inside Syria conducted by coalition forces on Monday night into Tuesday morning, Lieutenant General Bill Mayville confirmed that those strikes were “only the beginning.”

Mayville detailed the Pentagon’s strategy to “degrade and destroy” ISIS, which will focus primarily on Iraq before shifting to the Syrian theater. “Look at what we’re trying to do regionally,” he said. “We are focused first in Iraq because we have a partner in Iraq to work with; the Iraqi Security Forces, the Iraqi government.”

“We are trying to disrupt their support bases while we enable in Iraq the Iraqi Security Forces — with the help of partners — to dislodge and ultimately remove ISIL from Iraq,” he added.

“Could this take years?” NBC reporter Jim Miklaszewski asked.

“I would think of it in terms of years, yes,” Mayville replied.

Mayville was not referring to the administration’s strategy of vetting, extricating, arming, training, and reinserting Syrian rebel forces into northern Syria to fight ISIS (and Assad), which the administration admits will take years. Mayville is only referring here to the campaign to degrade and dislodge ISIS from Iraq.”

Of course, Obama is loathe to think in terms of win or victory when it comes to war.  Thus, it seems safe to assume that the Obama exit strategy is at follows:

Unable to Secure White House, Obama Makes War in Syria!

Poor Barack Obama! 

It all started out so well, what with being awarded the Nobel Peace Prize before even unpacking his basketball toys at the White House!  From that point forward, The One has been constantly challenged to maintain his anti-war pacifism in a world more and more prone to resort to war rather than talk..

Obama’s inability to nudge humanity toward diplomacy and peace reached the point where even the White House was vulnerable to invasion, as happened on successive days last week.

As usual, the Obama folks sought to downplay the significance of the vulnerability of the White House. As reported:


“Providing security at the White House is a complicated business,” Earnest said, reminding reporters that thousands of tourists visit the president’s residence every year.

When asked about the president’s response to the security breach, Earnest said Obama was “obviously concerned.”

So concerned, in fact, that the president apparently suffered a “wagging the dog” meltdown, prompted, in part, by the fact that the mid-term elections loom just five weeks hence.

WASHINGTON — The United States and allies launched air strikes against Sunni militants in Syria early Tuesday, unleashing a torrent of cruise missiles and precision-guided bombs from the air and sea on the militants’ de facto capital of Raqqa and along the porous Iraq border.

American fighter jets and armed Predator and Reaper drones, flying alongside warplanes from several Arab allies, struck a broad array of targets in territory controlled by the militants, known as the Islamic State. American defense officials said the targets included weapons supplies, depots, barracks and buildings the militants use for command and control. Tomahawk cruise missiles were fired from United States Navy ships in the region.”

Defenders point out that Obama had few viable options: Blaming Bush no longer works and evidence that ISIS is a product of global warming is still being brewed.

So, its off to war—another one in the Middle East, where Obama’s familiarity with Islam and his pacifism were supposed to make war an “old school” tactic employed by out-of-touch despots!

Turns out that enlightened progressives in desperate political situations find that war is NOT always that  immoral or “dumb.”

Obama Importing Disease & Covering It Up?

Barack Obama’s passion for bringing illegal aliens into America in order to grow the base of the Democrat Party has been well chronicled and is legend in the annals of Impeachable Offenses committed by a president.

It’s as though Obama, possibly an illegal alien himself, will go to any lengths to grant benefits and citizenship to anyone whom has invaded America, is poor, uneducated, from a socialist nation, and whom speaks little or no English and is aggressively disinclined to acquire English skills.

However, Obama’s unlawful solicitation of illegals may have recently gone beyond the pale concerning a mysterious respiratory ailment that is marching across the nation.

As reported:

Dr. Jane Orient, Executive Director of the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons, reported that the government has been “real tight-lipped” about the mysterious respiratory illness that has struck children in the United States, expressed concern that the illegal immigrant minors from Central America could be the source, and argued that the government should devote more resources to border security to combat the spread of disease on Wednesday’s “Laura Ingraham Show.” 

When asked whether illegal immigrant children who have been sent to various locations around the country could be the cause of the virus, she responded “Yes, they could be. We don’t know for sure the government is being real tight-lipped about this, and it only takes one infected child to infect the whole classroom.”

Orient added “we don’t know where it’s coming from...are there immigrants from Central America, where this disease has allegedly been prevalent before? Should we be [looking at] the virus to see whether it’s like what’s been found in some of these countries that are just sending waves of children across our border and they haven’t been quarantined long enough to make sure they’re not sick?”

She also spoke about the risks posed by drug resistant tuberculosis, saying “virtually all of the cases of drug resistant TB that have been discovered in the United States are in foreign born individuals, and the vast majority of any type of TB is in a person who was born in a foreign country. It is a public health nightmare to just have one of these cases in your community because the person needs to be quarantined...and you could catch TB on a bus, there is no question about that.”

In addition, Dr. Orient about the contagiousness of and potential for weaponizing the Ebola virus, reporting “the CDC, on its web site, still says you can't get it through the air, however, they're putting out more directives of a Canadian public health services saying ‘well, maybe you can get it through the air.’ This type of air transmission has occurred in animals who had no contact except through the air. And Even so, it’s very, very contagious, it only takes between 5 and 10 virus particles to infect a person. You don't have to have cuts...there are receptors for the viruses in [people’s] normal skin." And “it's extremely transmissible that's why people who like the idea of killing off 90% of population say it would be an ideal agent for accomplishing that. There have been attempts to weaponize it...but you don't really need an ICBM warhead to transmit this, you just some infected people coming across your border."  She further stressed that the government should devote more resources to securing the border to prevent the spread of disease.”

Sorry to say it, but this sounds what one would suspect from an incompetent, hateful Marxist. First, you destroy the best health care system in the world, then you make sure that the borders are open to allow unencumbered access by third-world people carrying the most dastardly diseases on the planet.

Then you cover the whole mess up, and label it a “phony scandal.”

Sound familiar? Too bizarre to believe?

Think for a moment about Obama’s performance over the past six years and remember that NOTHING is too evil for this despicable tyrant!

NFL Must Act to Counter Pandemic of Brain Damage in Front Offices!

A recent report indicates that perhaps 60% of former NFL players will at some point suffer brain damage. Obviously, this statistic is extremely disturbing and needs to be addressed by league offices as soon as possible.

Unfortunately, the brain damage that afflicts players in on-field confrontations has inexplicably spread to the administrative front offices of the various teams AND even to the office of the NFL Commissioner himself.

Specifically, in the case of  Baltimore Ravens star Ray Rice, who knocked his fiancée out cold in an elevator and then proceeded to drag his lady around by the hair, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell apparently suffered a devastating brain injury which caused him to deal with the Rice offense by suspending the star for two games!

Two games, Roger?

After a video showing Rice using his lady as a punching bag emerged, Commissioner Goodell “rethought” the matter and decided that an indefinite suspension was more appropriate.

However, brain damage quickly spread to the NFL Players Union which appealed Goodell’s tougher stance.

Then out of the blue, disaster spread to Minnesota and the personage of Adrian Peterson who was indicted in Texas on a felony charge of child abuse!

The front office of the Minnesota Vikings took note of the Rice kerfuffel and acted conservatively by forcing Peterson to sit out last week’s game.

So far so good!

Then in a stunning reminder of how wicked brain damage can be, on Monday, the Vikings front office reinstated Peterson for no apparent reason.

Apparently the well being of a four-year old boy is not important enough to fret about a felony beating inflicted by a super star!

The big question: For the sake of women and children, should crash helmets be required gear for decision makers in front offices of the NFL?

Feeling “Queasy” About GOP Prospects for Elections!

For months on end, Republicans have basked in the glow of election projections which generally forecast a robust take over of the US Senate by the GOP.

At last, we cheered, Harry Reid will be replaced as Majority Leader of the Senate. Even more importantly, the GOP Senate would be empowered to thwart Barack Obama’s tyrannical designs on America, at least partially.

Supreme Court nominations would have to go through a GOP Senate, and the Senate could bond with the House in pushing for fiduciary responsibility and restraints on spending.

Despite all the seemingly good news for the GOP, lurking in the background was the haunting thought that the 2012 election had seemed, for a while, as a shoo-in for Republicans.

After all, unemployment and economic news was nearly all bad and the nation was in constant turmoil surrounding the excesses of the most liberal president in US history.

Still, somehow, when the votes were all counted, Barack Obama had won re-election, despite one of the rockiest first terms of any president.

Since 2012, things have gotten dramatically worse for America under the ultra-left, wrong-headed policies of Barack Obama.

From ObamaCare, to return to war in Iraq, to the creation of ISIS, to the border crises, Barack Obama has failed to mitigate America’s major problems and, in fact, has made things measurably worse.

Quite deservedly, Barack Obama is now seen as untrustworthy, incompetent, and, to many, insufficiently dedicated to the American brand.

He has failed on every count and is ignoring the rule of law and the Constitution at will, it seems.

Obama’s plunging poll numbers seemed to suggest that the America public has finally wised up to the One and would, as a result, elect a GOP Congress to counter the Marxist impulses of Barack Obama.

That may still happen.

Nonetheless, a new poll released today gives the Democrats a 51% chance of keeping the Senate.

Ouch!

This is just one poll and it may be wrong.

Still, when it comes to the 2014 election, “Queasy” describes perfectly how this conservative feels!

A Humanitarian Request for Jihad John

Still, as one who holds on to the fragile hope that JJ can be redeemed, this Infidel has a proposal which could give  ISIS a brand new public image while opening great new frontiers for decapitations.

Specifically, why not expand your murderous ways to include female dim wits, JJ?

I have in mind the personage of Nancy Pelosi, who shares your passion for killing humans. One major difference, though, is that Pelosi’s, subjects are unborn, innocent babies and her procedure—known as Pro-choice abortion---is done in private, while the babes are still in the would-be mother’s body.

All of which makes the Pelosi murders less messy in terms of bloody scenes, but which also makes video production problematic, if not impossible.

Making Nancy Pelosi your next project, JJ, would gain you world attention and fame, even praise throughout the Infidel nations. It might even earn you consideration for a Nobel Peace Prize--similar to the phony award made to Barack Obama in 2009.

Furthermore, the task would be relatively easy, given the fact that the Pelosi cranium is completely empty.

Take this advise, JJ: Get Pelosi and show the world that ISIS is an equal opportunity killer and inclusive as can be!

Nancy Pelosi: GOP Could Jeopardize “Civilization as We Know It”

Democrat Nancy Pelosi, who vehemently claims to be non-partisan, and a non-fear monger advocate for all of humankind, except the unborn, has dire warnings for those whom might be tempted to vote Republican in November.

As reported at the reference, Pelosi made headlines with yet another outrageous statement wrapped in partisan nonsense and bizarre fear mongering:

On the one hand, California U.S. Rep. Nancy Pelosi claims that Democrats are not “fear-mongers;” on the other hand, she believes civilization is doomed if Republicans take control of the Senate from Democrats in November.
The former speaker of the House made those dramatic, incongruous statements on “Real Time with Bill Maher,” which aired live from Washington, D.C. Friday.
Maher asked Pelosi about recent polling which shows that the GOP is likely to take over the upper chamber and asked, given gridlock in Washington, why it matters that Democrats keep control.
“It would be very important for the Democrats to retain control of the Senate,” Pelosi told Maher. “Civilization as we know it today would be in jeopardy if the Republicans win the Senate.”

This from a left-wing extremist who, every time she opens her daft mouth, reminds the world why the symbol of the Democrat Party is appropriately recognized as The Ass, as in donkey.

Apparently, Pelosi is content with things as they under the stewardship of Barack Obama and Harry Reid and their affiliated Marxist tyrants, which have given America:

“We Will Destroy ISIS,” But Are NOT At War with Them?

Why is it that the Obama administration is so obsessed with denying the truth about America’s war with ISIS?

Secretary of State John Kerry says President Obama's vow to "destroy ISIS" through air strikes, bombing and support for a coalition of ground forces is not a war.

Speaking in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, after attempting to rally support for the war that's not a war, Kerry told CBS News that he prefers to use the President's go-to euphemism "long-term counter terrorism operation" rather than war because using the word "war" will just stir up "war fever".

Earth to John Kerry: When the heads of Americans are violently cut from their bodies by ISIS freaks and shown in videos broadcast to world, “War Fever” will is to be expected, except among leftist dimwits still on a rampage to discredit George W Bush!

Furthermore, Americans are a compassionate, forgiving people, but we are NOT stupid.

It simply makes no sense for the President of the United States to promise to “destroy ISIS” and then deny that we are at war!

To Obama: Waste no more time and energy to create euphemistic double talk! Instead, get on with the “destroy” mission and forget the idiotic word games!

In other words, as the blood of two American journalists spilled at the hands of 7th century ISIS freaks, war was declared and nothing that our Secretary of State or alleged Commander-in-Chief say can alter that fact!

Obama’s Delusional Insanity Persists: “ISIS Not Islamic!”

Barack Obama continues to be in a deep state of denial with regard to the basic nature of ISIS and Islam, despite recent decapitations and horrendous stories of murder and mayhem from Iraq and Syria.

In his prime-time speech to the nation on the eve of the 13th anniversary of the Sept. 11 terror attacks, President Obama vowed to “degrade and destroy” the Islamic State insurgency in Iraq and Syria with air strikes and 475 U.S. boots on the ground – but he also made a particular point of declaring that the Islamic State terrorists “are not Islamic.”
“Now let’s make two things clear: ISIL is not Islamic,” Obama said, speaking from the state floor of the White House residence. “No religion condones the killing of innocents, and the vast majority of ISIL’s victims have been Muslim.”
He added, “And ISIL is certainly not a state. It was formerly al-Qaida’s affiliate in Iraq, and has taken advantage of sectarian strife and Syria’s civil war to gain territory on both sides of the Iraq-Syrian border. It is recognized by no government, nor the people it subjugates. ISIL is a terrorist organization, pure and simple. And it has no vision other than the slaughter of all who stand in its way.”

One is reminded of other Obama administration declarations which have proven completely false, such as “The war on terror is over,” and Joe Biden’s outrageous view that the Iraq war is one of “the great achievements of the Obama administration.”

Such attitudes are particularly dangerous when dealing with ISIS, which has been described by Defense Secretary Hagel as "beyond just a terrorist group" and "beyond anything that we've seen."

Just who in the hell does Obama think these ISIS thugs are? A gaggle of wayward Catholic boys? Or confused Jewish killers?

Clearly, Mr. President, ISIS killers are Islamic, through and through!

It was Obama’s refusal to accept the truth about Islam that led to his foolish withdrawal from Iraq which has led to the creation of the monster known as ISIS.

Given the fact that Obama is still charmed by memories of the evening “calls to prayer” by Muslims, it is clear that he is incapable of objective and intelligent judgment.

The United States Congress must confront the President and encourage him to step down.

The stakes are too high to leave the war on ISIS in the hands of a Muslim sympathizer!

Eric Holder to Investigate in Light of Ray Rice Assault?

While Americans feign shock, disgust, and surprise at the video which shows former NFL star Ray Rice using his lady as a punching bag and then dragging the unconscious woman around by the hair, the ignored truth needs to be spoken:

As brutal and viscous as the Rice assault was, it is by no means an unheard of incident in the African-American community, where woman are frequently the victims of domestic violence, including murder.

In fairness, one must ask: Where are Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson, and, for that matter, Eric Holder with regard to the Ray Rice assault?

Or are African-American males who also happen to be superstar athletes exempt from community outrage and the jaws of justice simply because of their race, athletic stardom, AND because the victim is female?

Rather than marching off to Ferguson, Missouri in search of white police officers to pummel, why is Eric Holder not looking into examples of brutality and violence by black men against black women there?

And while you are at it, why not take a look at Chicago and the notorious murder rate and violence index in Barack Obama’s former stomping grounds, Mr. Attorney General?

Is there a pattern of black men on black women crime which needs the attention of the DOJ, sir?

Eric Holder and Barack Obama are allegedly advocates for justice, especially when it comes to mistreatment of black people. But is that concern less intense when the perpetrators are black, male, and world-class athletes?

As black leaders struggle to “heal” the black community, leaders and law enforcement authorities need to point out, with vigor, the cultural problems (unmarried births, violence, and misogamy) all too common with Eric Holder’s “my people.”

As difficult as it may be to admit, Mr. Attorney General, you may discover that not all travails in the black community can be blamed on white racism!

Obama Blames GOP for “Politicizing” Illegal Issue; Delays Action Until After Elections!

Just when it seemed that Barack Obama could go no lower in his assault on American sovereignty, the US Constitution, established rule of law, and good old-fashioned common sense, he managed to pull a whopper on the illegal alien issue, a move which has infuriated racists who believe that the Constitution does not, or should not, apply to Hispanics.

Specifically, in June, Obama “promised” (threatened!) to issue Executive Orders in to bypass the US Congress, thereby supplanting existing immigration law with his own perverted plans for fundamentally transforming America.

Unfortunately, for our clueless president, word of his planned usurping of law made its way to Central America where invaders-in-waiting immediately headed north in order to take advantage of the Obama EO insanity!

Thousands of illegal aliens  flooded into the US across the US-Mexico border, demanding amnesty, health care, welfare, food stamps, and other amenities which accrue to those of their ethnicity.

Americans not particularly interested in immigration or illegal aliens were suddenly enlightened by daily news bulletins which reported the invasion of America the great by Central Americans. The images portrayed images of a border out-of-control with a narrative of a president who was encouraging the invasions as a means for growing the Democratic party.

The American people were, for the most part, not amused.

Obama’s agony escalated into a major pain in the bum when at- risk Democrats in North Carolina, Louisiana, Arkansas and other states realized that Obama’s unlawful meddling with immigration laws would harm their campaigns and perhaps hasten the transfer of the US Senate from the evil hands of Harry Reid to a genuine American, a member of the GOP.

Frightened Democrats immediately went into panic mode and demanded that Obama abandon, postpone, his unconstitutional meddling—at least until after the November elections.

Obama remained steadfast and determined to “do the right thing” until Saturday when he finally relented and yielded to the forces of raw politics over compassion, the right thing, and all of that other baloney.

As reported at the reference, it is now official: Obama’s idiotic orders will NOT be issued until after the November elections.

And just how did our boy genius explain this reversal?

He said that because the GOP had “politicized” the illegal alien issue, he was forced to delay “doing the right thing” until after the elections.

Tragically, there are Americans who actually believe such irrational pap!

Looking Forward to the Obama “Strategy”? Don't Be Silly!

When, and if, Barack Obama gets out of his tan suit and off the golf course(s) long enough to pay attention to the chaos dominating world affairs, most of which is due to his own immaturity, arrogance, faulty judgment, laziness, and pro-Islamic sympathies, perhaps The One will, at long last, announce the US strategy for dealing with ISIL, Vladimir Putin and the Russian invasion of Ukraine, and the invasion of the American homeland via the unsecured southern border with Mexico.

Just what can anxious Americans expect from the reluctant leader of the free world in these most perilous of times?

Will the Obama “strategy” put ISIL and Russian thugs on notice that America will rally behind the banner of justice and freedom in order to defeat throat-cutting religious freaks from the 7th century, and stifle a wily communist dictator seeking to return the “evil empire”  AKA, the USSR, to its former glory and deplorable past?

Will Obama reassert America as a land where the rule of law prevails, and where borders actually mean something?

Whatever it’s composite flavor, one can safely assume that the Obama strategy will be loaded with soaring, but otherwise meaningless, rhetoric, vulgarly long on pomposity, yet tragically short on substance.

So, too, will The One use the occasion of the coming out of the Obama strategy to engage in self-aggrandizement and pointing the finger so as to remind Americans that all problems, past, present, and future, originated in the dreary days of the Bush presidency, and that the only bright spots in world affairs are because of the Intellectual and Moral leadership provided by Barack Obama.

Citing the brutal beheading of yet another American journalist as evidence, Obama will remind the world that, despite his best efforts, GITMO remains open and is a major cause of Islamic knife-wielding savagery.

In short, Obama will double down on his proposal to evacuate GITMO. He will also urge tolerance and understanding of Muslims and their peculiar “religion of peace!”

Putin, “I Can take Kiev in Two Weeks”: Obama, No Strategy Yet!

Russian President Vladimir Putin is showing signs that the sanctions and other aggressive initiatives by Barack Obama are having an impact—but mostly in the wrong direction as far as America is concerned!

Despite Obama’s full-court press, Putin is growing more incorrigible and hostile.  For example, in response to Obama’s urgent warnings about Ukraine, Putin invaded without batting an eye.

Thus emboldened, the communist dictator is now openly taunting European leaders and Obama by threatening to “take Kiev in two weeks”:

Vladimir Putin has boasted to European leaders that his forces could sweep into Kiev in two weeks if he wanted. The Russian president reportedly made the threat to the European Commission president during talks on the Ukraine crisis.

Mr. Putin told Jose Manuel Barroso: “If I want to, I can take Kiev in two weeks,” Italy’s La Repubblica newspaper reported, implying this could be the result if the EU stepped up sanctions against Russia.”

Meanwhile, Barack Obama is preparing a statement about Putin’s threatening statement. White House aids, speaking on condition of anonymity, revealed that Obama intends to issue his statement within two weeks, or right after Putin takes Kiev, whichever comes later.

Sadly, THAT is the Obama strategy, patriots!

VP Biden: Time to Take Back America!

Vice-president Joe Biden stole a page from the Republican play book when he admonished Americans to take back America. As reported at the reference, Biden waxed giddy about the role of labor unions on this labor day in Detroit.

Although Biden did not offer specifics, it is a safe bet that he did NOT advocate taking Back America to the Days When……:

National defense was always the # 1 priority of the Commander-in-Chief, far ahead of golf and other recreational distractions, vacations, fundraising, and partisan posturing;

Having a well-conceived intelligent strategy for defending America was an automatic part of the national security apparatus and primary responsibility of the Commander-in-Chief;

Americans optimistically expected to bequeath better lives to their offspring;

Personal ideology was never reason enough for any president to deliberately seek to destroy an industry, and with it, millions of employment opportunities;

The loss of American lives was ALWAYS of paramount importance: Failure to defend our own, as in Benghazi, ALWAYS MADE A BIG  DIFFERENCE!

American military political influence was respected and feared throughout the world, rather than being regarded as weak and deserving of scorn and ridicule;

No American, including the president and other powerful government officials, was above the law;

Using Executive Orders to bypass Congress with respect to codified law was unheard of;

The job of the IRS was to collect taxes in accordance with the law; it did not include authority to target and/or discriminate against political enemies of the president;

Although Americans often differed with the president and government leaders on specific matters of policy, most citizens genuinely believed that the president was an honorable person who shared their core values, culture,  and traditions and was on their side; and

The role of the Vice President was to attend state funerals on behalf of the president and to tend to largely ceremonial tasks. Period!

Biden would do well to limit his participation to funerals and other mundane affairs where his tendency to do really goofy things can be minimized.

Democrats Use Corpse of Michael Brown to Troll for Votes!

Democrat politicians are notorious for exploiting human misery and despair for raw partisan advantage. “Never let a crisis go to waste,” is a favorite Democrat campaign strategy which epitomizes the bottom-feeding mindset that dominates the way liberals think about elections and manipulating the unwashed masses.

Thus, with crucial mid-term elections just around the corner, and majority control of the US Senate very much at risk, it should come as no great surprise that desperate liberals have resorted to using the bullet-riddled corpse of Michael Brown as a prop to get out the vote.

FERGUSON, Mo. — Down the street from where the body of Michael Brown lay for hours after he was shot three weeks ago, volunteers have appeared beside folding tables under fierce sunshine to sign up new voters. On West Florissant Avenue, the site of sometimes violent nighttime protests for two weeks, voter-registration tents popped up during the day and figures like the Rev. Jesse L. Jackson Sr. lectured about the power of the vote.

In this small city, which is two-thirds African-American but has mostly white elected leaders, only 12 percent of registered voters took part in the last municipal election, and political experts say black turnout was very likely lower. But now, in the wake of the killing of Mr. Brown, an unarmed black 18-year-old, by a white Ferguson police officer, there is a new focus on promoting the power of the vote, an attempt to revive one of the keystones of the civil rights movement.


N.A.A.C.P. leaders are creating a door-to-door voter registration effort with a jarring reminder as its theme: “Mike Brown Can’t Vote, but I Can.” 

Senator Claire McCaskill, a Missouri Democrat, is working with others to hold a “candidate school” for people, including young black residents who say they want to serve on a city council or school board but need guidance on what a political campaign requires.

The attempt to galvanize voting comes against a backdrop of intense political struggles over the ballot in the state. In 2000, polls were kept open late in St. Louis because of long lines, and Republicans complained about possible voter fraud — one chapter in what would be a long battle over elections and voting.”

Once again, the Democrat Party is proving that, when it comes to elections, there is no standard of decency which cannot be violated in order to get out the vote for liberal politicians!
