As has been widely reported, Barack Obama fell into a juvenile snit after being criticized by Dr. Ben Carson at a prayer breakfast in 2013.
As the story goes, the President, through the breakfast organizers, White House staff, or both, let it be known that he expected an apology.
The good doctor declined, asserting that, in his view, an apology was unnecessary and inappropriate.
In the interest of promoting harmony among powerful public figures, the following apology seems appropriate and reasonable.
"To Barack Obama: I am sorry that you are such an inept and reprehensible poser. America deserves better, much better!"
