Thanks Be to God for the 22nd Amendment!

By John W. Lillpop

For patriotic, conservative Americans, Thanksgiving this year provides a paucity of blessings to give thanks for.

Our nation is in severe decline as Americans are awakening to the fact that President Obama is more than just incompetent: He is also a congenital liar who will say and do almost anything to advance his Marxist agenda.

The man who fooled tens of millions of Americans into believing that he was almost deity turns out to be a thug with little or no concern for the little guy.

Still there are two realities for which we can all be most thankful:

1. The 22 Amendment limits the president to two terms. Which means that unless Barry tries to use an Executive Order to extend his Presidency, the Obama nightmare will end on January 20, 2017! Period!

2. Barack Obama is not a twin. Which means that there is
not another Obama in our future, unless Michelle goes political and tries to complete the devastation of America.

Because of the saving grace found in the 22 Amendment, the Amendment is repeated below:

The Twenty-second Amendment of the United States Constitution sets a term limit for election to the office of President of the United States. Congress passed the amendment on March 21, 1947. It was ratified by the requisite number of states on February 27, 1951.

SECTION 1.
No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than once. But this article shall not apply to any person holding the office of President when this article was proposed by the Congress, and shall not prevent any person who may be holding the office of President, or acting as President, during the term within which this article becomes operative from holding the office of President or acting as President during the remainder of such term.

Praise be to God for those precious words!
