Black Christians Must Decide Between Jesus Christ and Barack Obama!

By John W. Lillpop

Although the liberal media generally dismiss devout Christian faith as a product of right-wing Republican extremists, the fact is that African-Americans are among the most spiritually-faithful Christians in America.

The enigma is that African-Americans have been, in large measure, manacled to the Democrat Party in spite of the anti-religion and pro-gay agenda of that party.

Barack Obama’s rise to national prominence has added to Democrats’ monopoly hold on blacks, despite Obama’s ultra-liberal views.

However, Obama’s recent usurping of DOMA and other actions which serve to coddle the gay community may finally challenge the lock-in-step allegiance of blacks to all things Democrat.

As reported at the reference, in part:

WASHINGTON, DC - A coalition of 34,000 black churches is blasting President Barack Obama's decision to stop defending the federal law that bans recognition of gay marriage.

The Rev. Anthony Evans, who heads the National Black Church Initiative, says Obama "has violated the Christian faith" by failing to uphold Jesus' teaching that marriage is between a man and a woman.

The Justice Department announced Wednesday that, at Obama's direction, it would not defend the constitutionality of the Defense of Marriage Act in a court case where it's being challenged.

As a result, Evans says black churches must "reassess their extraordinary support for him."

Wow!

Black churches to reassess their extraordinary support for Obama and, by extension, the Democrat Party. Now THAT is breaking news, and long over due in my opinion!

Might this represent the beginnings of a second Emancipation to free blacks from the slavery of liberalism which runs counter to their spiritual beliefs in so many ways?

Why not a Million-person March on Washington to protest Obama’s anti-Christian behavior?

Indeed, African-Americans need to answer this question truthfully: Is our allegiance to Jesus Christ or Barack Obama?
