Obama’s “Credibility”: Much Ado About Nothing!

By John W. Lillpop

Hollywood anti-war scalawags and Congressional Democrats wrapped in Hawks’ clothing are wringing their hands in collective despair these days at the conundrum brought to market by Barack Obama and his proposed rendezvous with Tomahawk Missiles in Syria, which could become the second Muslim nation to feel the wrath of a jaded American Jihadist posing as President of these United States.

The cause of the hysteria in Tinsel Town and in the dark Cloak rooms of Washington, D.C.? The threatened impugning of the “credibility” of Barack Obama, America’s Nobel Peace Prize recipient who has been recently transformed into a hysterical war-monger over a simple red line!

A word to the wise should suffice, but when one is addressing Democrats, wisdom is no where to be found!

Still, brain-dead Democrats should take solace in a simple, but profound truth: When it comes to credibility, Barack Obama has none to lose!

Hollywood’s Anti-War Stars Don’t Twinkle So Loudly When President Is a Black Democrat!

By John W. Lillpop

Dr. Martin Luther King must be turning over in his grave at the latest news from Hollywood and its take on the war-mongering of Barack Obama!

MLK’s famous line about wanting to be judged by “Character, rather than the color of my skin” is a message apparently lost on some of Hollywood’s better known peaceniks and elitist movie stars.

As reported at the reference:

In 2003, ahead of a U.S. attack on Iraq, a robust anti-war movement in Hollywood included a TV commercial starring Martin Sheen and Sean Penn visiting Baghdad. There were online petitions signed by Ed Asner; letters to President George W. Bush pleading for peace were signed by Matt Damon, Tim Robbins, Barbra Streisand and Alec Baldwin; former M*A*S*H star Mike Farrell fronted multiple press conferences where celebrities denounced war. In interviews, Janeane Garofalo stopped identifying herself as an actor -- she preferred to be called a member of the U.S. anti-war movement.

The good news for President Barack Obama as he considers a military response against Syria for using chemical weapons against rebels is that he probably won't have to deal with a similar anti-war movement from Hollywood. But that's not because there isn't opposition. It's just not organized, and, as Asner and Farrell – two of the industry's most vocal progressive activists -- told The Hollywood Reporter Friday, perhaps it never will be.

While some conservatives see hypocrisy, Farrell says that an all-out war in Iraq under Bush, a Republican who was very unpopular in Hollywood, was a much bigger deal than potential missile strikes against Syria under the direction of Obama, a Democrat who drew millions for his campaigns from showbiz industry donors.

Even if Obama presents irrefutable evidence that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad used poison gas against civilians, military action is still unwarranted, the two activists say.
"This administration ought to insist that the international community charge [Assad] with a war crime and prosecute him, and in so doing Obama would be following the law instead of flaunting the law," Farrell said.

"It's incredibly improper for the president to call for a strike. I have said it everywhere I can and I suspect a lot of others will do the same, but whether there will be an organized effort, I don't know," Farrell continued. "We're talking about the difference between an invasion in Iraq and a limited action in response to the use of chemical weapons in Syria."

Asner said the lack of an organized effort against war in Syria is a matter of timing. Bush took months to make the case for war in Iraq, giving the antiwar left plenty of time to prepare a response.

"It will be a done deal before Hollywood is mobilized," Asner said. "This country will either bomb the hell out of Syria or not before Hollywood gets off its ass.

Another reason some Hollywood progressives have been reticent to speak out against war in Syria, according to Asner, is fear of being called racist.

"A lot of people don't want to feel anti-black by being opposed to Obama," he said.

Asner said Hollywood activists should read a Huffington Post blog item by Dennis Kucinich, where the former congressman lists the "Top 10 unproven claims for war against Syria."

"Whether it's a Republican or Democrat president, or Republican or Democrat Congress -- and it doesn't make a God-damned difference -- it behooves us to get off our ass and ask these questions," Asner said.

Farrell and Asner both say that beating the war drums on Syria is one of many mistakes Obama has made.”

There you go: Progressives in Congress are unwilling to vote against Obama for fear of humiliating The One, and Progressive dimwits in Hollywood are afraid to speak out for fear of being called racist!’

Are there NO progressives in America with neither Guts or Nuts?

Whatever Happened to “Moving Beyond Mindset of Perpetual War,” Barack?

By John W. Lillpop

One of Barack Obama’s most annoying mannerisms is his propensity to engage in “preachy hypocrisy,” in which The One looks down his snooty nose at we the unwashed and proceeds to lecture us with his superior intellectual and moral perspective concerning everything from the need to abandon fossil fuels to his warped conviction that access to government-funded abortion and contraception are inalienable rights found in the US Constitution, but only by those sufficiently blessed with the intellectual tools needed to see light and truth.

As an undeserving and farcical recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize, Obama is particularly passionate about the subject of war and he openly shares adamant opposition to it, especially as concerns American politicians.

As reported at the reference, Obama has long been a cheerleader for surrendering America’s sovereignty and legitimate national interests in order to achieve unilateral peace:

Said he:
“We must move beyond the mindset of perpetual war: Closing the prison in Guantanamo, tightly controlling use of new technology like drones, security with the balance of the protection of privacy — I’m confident that balance can be struck.”

Obama stated that technology can help preserve security, but not at the expense of personal freedoms, and that security precautions “confront real dangers, not ordinary people.”

Obama followed in the footsteps of past U.S. leaders, asking Russia and the rest of the world to reduce nuclear capabilities. Obama said a review of the U.S. nuclear capability showed that stockpiles can be reduced by up to a third while maintaining the necessary deterrent.

Obama’s foreign policy statements also included his challenge to tear down walls “in our own hearts,” by promoting peace across the world, including a solution for Israel and Palestinians.”

Unfortunately, Obama’s high-sounding rhetoric does not match his War at Any Cost! obsession with Syria.

Which invites the logical question: Whatever Happened to “Moving Beyond the Mindset of Perpetual War,” Barack?

What About Benghazi, Barack?

By John W. Lillpop

Why is Barack Obama so intent on making war in order to send a message to those responsible for the use of WMD in Syria, while simultaneously ignoring the brutal murder of four American diplomats in Benghazi nearly one year ago?

As tragic and despicable as the August 21 gassing was, the fact remains that no Americans were killed, or even involved, for that matter.

And while the 1,500 Syrians allegedly gassed outside Damascus are a tragic blemish on humanity, the deceased are but a small percentage of the estimated 120,000 victims that Obama has chosen to ignore for the past two years.

Meanwhile, in the case of the September 11, 2012 murder of four American diplomats in Libya, the survivors of that awful day are still off limits to those seeking answers to exactly what happened.

Nearly one year later, we still do not know whom
gave the order to “stand down,” rather than assist the besieged diplomats.

Further, Americans still do not know where our untrustworthy Commander-In-Chief was during the several hours from the time that the terror attack began until the next morning.

Golf? Fund raising?

Americans still do not know whom authored the “Talking Points” that UN Ambassador Susan Rice took with her during a blitz of five Sunday news shows on September 16, said Talking Points seemingly crafted to spread the false narrative that an obscure anti-Muslim movie on YouTube was the driver behind the Benghazi slaughter.

While the September 11 assault is riddled with unanswered questions and inconsistencies fostered by stonewalling, some facts are certain: Benghazi happened during a presidential election in which Barack Obama was seeking reelection AND Obama was most anxious to assure that nothing challenged the foolish assertion that Al-Quaeda was “decimated” and that the war-on-terror had been won.

All of which causes one to audaciously ask, again: What About Benghazi, Barack?

How Concerned Should Congress Be About “Humiliating” Obama? Not At All!

By John W. Lillpop

Progressive stooges in Congress, especially the US House, have indicated a desire to vote YES! for the war on Syria just to avoid humiliating, further, the Defrocked Messiah of the Left, the unlovable and unloved Barack Hussein Obama, who has disgraced America with unending feckless judgement and foolish acts.

Indeed, loosely-wrapped Democrats (aren’t they all?) would rather risk World War 111 and obliteration of the US and Israel than see a single gray hair on BHO’s lying head ruffled.

It’s only through an odd morphing of partisan ignorance with black racism that keeps our community organizer from being run out on a rail!

All of which is inexplicable, to say the least.

After all, Obama has repeatedly humiliated the American brand with his foolish assaults on capitalism, Christianity, traditional moral values including one-man, one- woman marriage, the Rule of Law and the Constitution, and simple arithmetic.

Now that this man of limited talent, and even less integrity, finds himself isolated and trapped by his own stupid rhetoric, should our elected Congress folks bail his posterior out?

Hell, no, says I!

Barack Obama has earned a good humiliation to pound that arrogance from his soul. He deserves to be isolated in a corner with “World Dunce” etched on his forehead as a reminder that simple-minded idiocy is never in season, and simply will not be countenanced in our Commander-In-Chief!

Humiliate Barack Obama? By all means!
