In yet another mind-boggling case of Democratic Party hypocrisy, a gaggle of House Democrats has sent a letter to Speaker John Boehner requesting that the scheduled May 3 address to Congress by Israel’s Prime Minister Netanyahu on be postponed.
The vile missive opens with this pathetic verbiage:
“The invitation to Prime Minister Netanyahu enlists a foreign leader to influence a presidential policy initiative. We should be able to disagree on foreign policy within our American political system and without undermining the presidency,” the letter reads.”
Sorry, Moon Bats, but arguing against foreign influence on US policy is anything but credible!
Or have you forgotten the presentation before a joint session of Congress delivered by Mexican President Felipe Calderon on May 20, 2010?
On that horrific occasion, the leader of the failed third-world state of Mexico delivered a blistering assault on the state of Arizona for passing an immigration bill to defend its citizenry from invasion by non-English speaking non-Amigos seeking to escape Calderon’s beloved Mexico.
As reported:
Mexican President Felipe Calderon condemned Arizona's tough, new immigration law during a joint session speech Thursday to Congress.
Calderon said the Arizona law, which is meant to stem the tide of illegal immigrants into the state, primarily from Mexico, "introduces a terrible idea that uses racial profiling as a basis for law enforcement."
"I am convinced that a comprehensive immigration reform is crucial to securing our common border," the Mexican president told lawmakers in both parties gathered for the speech. "However I strongly disagree with your recently adopted law in Arizona."
Democrats stood and applauded Calderon's remarks at that point in the speech, while many Republicans remained seated, with no applause.”
Get that? While this foreign leader denounces a US state for protecting its citizens, brain-dead Democrats give the foreign leader a standing Ovation, with the backing and support of Barack Obama!
It’s worth noting that Netanyahu is not appearing before Congress to campaign against a legitimate law passed by a sovereign state of America!
Nor is he proposing to dump millions of parasites on the backs of American taxpayers!
Rather, Bibi wants to warn Congress that a nuclear-capable Iran would threaten the entire globe, and that Barack Obama is too busy with golf and defending Islamic terrorists to even notice!
Still, it is wildly amusing to see Democrats wringing their hands in distress over actions that challenge the tyranny and in-your-face tactics of Barack Obama!
Reciprocity for Obama’s unlawful, unconstitutional sidestepping of Congress with stupid Executive Orders is the most American action taken by Congress in a long while!
