Defying the Red Muck That Smothers Hollywood, Clint Eastwood Advocates on Behalf of America!

Most of Hollywood, and the super-wealthy cinema “stars” and starlets whom congregate there, have, like trained dumb animals, “heeled” behind leftist tyrants committed to the utter decimation of the most prosperous society in human history and the concurrent obliteration of the greatest system ever devised for self-governance.

That is, Hollywood’s freakish left is, for the most part, aligned behind Marxist Barack Obama and what will surely be the end of America, should the electorate repeat the tragic mistake of 2008!

There is however, a notable, praiseworthy exception to the mind-numbing myopia and dumbing down that has gripped Tinseltown: That would be the gracious conservative known as Clint Eastwood.

LOS ANGELES - Clint Eastwood made quite a splash when he starred in a Super Bowl commercial that talked about "halftime in America." For those who saw it as a sign of backing for President Obama, his weekend endorsement of Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney might be seen as reversing his field.

Saying that he believed "the country needs a boost," the 82-year-old actor and director endorsed Romney in Sun Valley, Idaho, on Friday night. The setting was fundraiser that brought in more than $2 million for the Victory Fund, a joint effort between the Romney campaign and the Republican National Committee.

Eastwood said at the gathering that he became aware of Romney when he was filming the 2003 movie "Mystic River" in Massachusetts.

"And at that time Gov. Romney was running for governor and I kept seeing him appear on television all the time and I said 'God this guy, he's too handsome to be governor, but he does look like he could be president,'" he said.

Eastwood cited tax reform as one reason he was backing Romney, telling the crowd that former Massachusetts governor was "going to restore, hopefully, a decent tax system that we need badly...so that there's a fairness and people are not pitted against one another as to who's paying taxes and who isn't."

Romney, demonstrating he knows a cue when he gets one, said that Eastwood's backing "made my day."

Eastwood also made the day for millions of other common-sense Americans who want America taken back from left-wing tyrants, those "intellectuals" who neither respect nor understand what it means to be an American!

Harry Reid: The REAL Twit in American Politics!

With 23 million of We the People without jobs at all or using hard-earned advance degrees to flip burgers at McDonald’s or Burger King, one would expect our elected leaders to be extra diligent in working to find solutions, right?

Instead, we find Harry Reid, Democrat Leader of the US Senate and former boxer, delivering a shot below the belt at Mitt Romney, President Obama’s presumed opponent, said attack delivered on the floor of the US Senate on the same day that the latest awful unemployment numbers were released!

The New York Times, not generally recognized as part of the vast right-wing conspiracy,  had this to say, in part, about the intemperate, unfounded remarks of Harry Reid:

Mr. Reid appears to be once again reprising a rhetorical technique he has mastered over 25 years in the Senate: repeatedly needling his Republican adversaries in ways that often push the boundaries of political propriety.

During the 2008 presidential campaign, Mr. Reid repeatedly taunted Senator John McCain of Arizona, the Republican nominee, saying he should show leadership. He was quoted in a Las Vegas newspaper saying, “I can’t stand John McCain.”

In 2005, Mr. Reid said of President George W. Bush: “This guy is a loser.” He later apologized for that remark, but stood by another claim that Mr. Bush had been “a liar” while in office.

Mr. Reid called Senator Bill Frist, the Republican leader from 2003 to 2007, “amateurish,” and said in 2007 that Gen. Peter Pace, then the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, was “incompetent.”

Mr. Reid once said that Alan Greenspan, the former chairman of the Federal Reserve, was “one of the biggest political hacks we have in Washington.”

Coming to Mr. Romney’s defense, Mr. McCain accused Mr. Reid on Thursday of sometimes displaying “rather erratic behavior” and said, “Harry might’ve gone over the line here.” And on Friday, Senator Mitch McConnell of Kentucky, the Republican leader, said Mr. Reid had once again used the Senate “as a forum for his baseless accusations.”

“Frankly, it’s beneath the dignity of his office,” Mr. McConnell said.

Indeed it is! Only a certifiable Twit would be so despicably unprofessional.

Again, with 23 million Americans stuck in the progressive quagmire of unemployment and underemployment, who in the hell cares about unsubstantiated rumors about Mitt Romney’s tax-paying history?

Rumors which the addled Reid admits he cannot confirm, but thought he would mention anyway because---well, to over shadow Obama’s latest economic numbers!

And when the allegations are proven completely false?

A non-repentant, unashamed Harry Reid will remind everyone that he told us he was unsure as to the veracity of the rumors and then proceed to skate away from any responsibility!

All of which does nothing to ease the pain and suffering of 23 million victims of ObamaNomics!

Still, putting Harry Reid’s obvious insanity aside, there IS cause for hope!

That is because Harry Reid and the US Senate and the US House have ALL left town on a five-week vacation!

Repeat: The incompetence and corruption so prominent on Capitol Hill has abandoned the joint for five weeks!

Meanwhile, at the White House, Barack Obama took time from his fund-raising frenzy to play a round of  golf, the 104th such foray into golf by this America-hating Marxist.

BRILLIANT THOUGHT: Why not join the Congress, Mr. President, by taking five weeks off?

No public appearances, no Constitution-skirting Executive Orders, no class warfare based on race, no bitter attacks of envy on private enterprise, those profit-driven, greedy capitalists who are the only ones whom can rescue the nation from the Obama recession?

Just take five weeks off, Mr. President, and watch our economy begin to recover, watch consumer confidence skyrocket, and watch America grow!

Do it for the children, sir!

Tolerance, Diversity Go Missing in Tennessee Among Dems!

The sheer hypocrisy of Democrat politicians all across America continues to defy common sense and logic.  Indeed, tolerance and diversity are preached often and intently by Democrat politicians, but neither is well tolerated when it comes to actual practice.

However, the garden variety of intolerance for tolerance common across the land is quite tame when compared to the full-throated intolerance practiced by Tennessee Democrats.

The party of Cordell Hull, Estes Kefauver and Al Gore Sr. and Jr. won’t have a standard-bearer — or at least not one it can stomach — in Tennessee’s next U.S. Senate race.

Less than 24 hours after a man espousing conservative and libertarian views surprised the state’s political scene by winning the Democratic nomination, the Tennessee Democratic Party disavowed him, saying he’s part of an anti-gay hate group.

The party said Friday that it would do nothing to help Mark Clayton, 35, who received nearly twice as many votes as his closest challenger in Thursday’s seven-candidate primary, winning the right to challenge Republican U.S. Sen. Bob Corker in November.

"The only time that Clayton has voted in a Democratic primary was when he was voting for himself,” the party said in a news release. “Many Democrats in Tennessee knew nothing about any of the candidates in the race, so they voted for the person at the top of the ticket. Unfortunately, none of the other Democratic candidates were able to run the race needed to gain statewide visibility or support.

“Mark Clayton is associated with a known hate group in Washington, D.C., and the Tennessee Democratic Party disavows his candidacy, will not do anything to promote or support him in any way, and urges Democrats to write-in a candidate of their choice in November.”

Clayton defended his work for Public Advocate of the United States, the pro-life, pro-marriage group in question, and said he was disappointed with the Tennessee Democratic Party’s “zero-sum politics.”

Talk about intolerance and bigotry—Tennessee Democrats have slithered to a new low in their treatment of Clayton!

Profile of Barack Obama: Two Hideously-Large Ears, One on Each Side of a Vastly Overrated Cranium!

For nearly four years now, the American people have been force-fed a steady diet of propaganda as to the formidable genius and superior intellect of one Barack Hussein Obama.

According to the mainstream media and other liberal sources, Obama’s superior intelligence was more important than the fact that, at age 46, this savant from Chicago had no practical problem solving experience and no accomplishments to his credit when he decided to seek the presidency.

His IQ was so extraordinary, they said, that he was entitled to step into the most powerful position in the world with only the Audacity of Hope on his resume, and the word CHANGE on his lips and loaded into his teleprompter.

Barack Obama was the messiah, the One, the Healer, all things good and glorious rolled into one clean and articulate ball of genius that would save the world, America, and all of mankind from eight years of W. and the Republicans.

Unfortunately, the American people bought into this bull excrement and elected an enthusiastic agent of CHANGE who was, and is, exactly clueless about the real world.

For the nightmare now residing at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, we can thank mainstream media and the Democrat party, and the 69 million people who voted with their hearts rather than their brains.

After less than a full term in the presidency, Barack Obama distinguished himself as the most overrated and unqualified president in American history.

His gaffes and demonstrations of incompetence are truly astounding for a man of alleged “superior intelligence.”

For example, this president declared that America is not a Christian nation while speaking in Turkey, a Muslim nation.

What exactly was the point of irritating 250 million Americans just to get in a sound bite for the evening news?

He could have said what he wanted without resorting to this explosive insult.

Another example is the hoopla and fan fare surrounding his announcement concerning the closing of GITMO.

What man blessed with superior intelligence would, as one of his first acts as president, move to shut down a facility housing the most brutal terrorists in the world without having any idea where to send said murders?

What man blessed with superior intelligence would put the prestige and influence of the presidency at risk by making a personal address to the International Olympic Committee on behalf of his home town without knowing beforehand how his efforts would be received?

What man blessed with superior intelligence would box himself into a foolish corner by accepting an undeserved Nobel Peace prize at a time when his job as Commander-in-Chief required him to consider a surge of American troops in Afghanistan?

There is more.

What man blessed with superior intelligence would commit to creating or saving 3-4 million jobs with a deficit-crashing stimulus bill that he approved, but did not read or understand?

What man blessed with superior intelligence would accuse a police officer of "acting stupidly" for simply doing his job?

What man blessed with superior intelligence would repeatedly apologize for the policies and leaders of America while standing on foreign soil?

What man blessed with superior intelligence would deliberately move the trials of murdering Islamofascists to New York City in order to impress the Muslim world with the fairness of America's judicial system, and then declare that the accused were guilty, would be found so by the jury, and punished?

What man blessed with superior intelligence would send 30,000 young Americans into harm's way with a speech that advised the enemy of our timeline for retreating, rather than fierce commitment to win?

What man blessed with superior intelligence would lie about the number of jobs created and saved in order to make his approval of the stimulus disaster appear prudent?

What man blessed with superior intelligence would ring up the federal deficit with the abandon of a drunken sailor and then lecture Congress and the American people about the dangers of deficit spending?

What man blessed with superior intelligence would nominate tax cheats to his cabinet?

What man blessed with superior intelligence would allow his Attorney General to drop voter intimidation charges against the New Black Panther party and to advise Congress that funding criminals at ACORN was appropriate?

These examples are from the first two years of Obama’s ruinous term—the past two years have been even more catastrophic!

Bottom line: It appears as though Barack Obama is an educated fool, an individual who may own a high IQ, but has almost no practical intelligence.

Most such people excel in the ability to give away other people’s treasure--they make terrific community organizers, but not leaders!

Compounding his problem, Barack Obama is an arrogant narcissist who actually believes that truth and wisdom are his exclusive domain.

The big question: Just how did this fellow get elected?

And has the American voter learned enough not to repeat the awful mistake of 2008?

Congressional Five-Week Vacation: Good or Bad for Unemployment and the Economy?

Unemployment “ticked” up slightly in July, causing some Democrats to hail yet another “summer of recovery” for America!

To those not paying attention, that is three recovery summers in a row, none of which have provided much Hope for the 23 million unemployed or underemployed Americans caught in the Obama folly.

That folly has gone 42 consecutive months with an unemployment rate above 8%., contrary to the numerous promises and predictions made by The One, Vice-President Biden, Tim Geithner, Congressional Democrats, some fairy-dust economists, and other liberal moon bats.

However, to Democrats in brutal denial over the failed policies of Barack Obama, a lower-than expected increase in unemployment is seen as “a step in the right direction,” a sign that better days lie just around the corner.

Indeed, with the July unemployment number at 8.254%, NOT 8.3 % as exaggerated by some conservatives, Democrats believe that this latest Obama “success” provides a solid justification for rewarding the 51-year-old Marxist, who sports a pair of hideously over sized ears on either side of a vastly overrated cranium, with yet another four years in which to complete the goal of “transforming” the greatest nation in history to a third-world hell hole, not unlike the failed state of Mexico which used to be on the other side of our southern border, but which , during Obama’s watch, has been covertly re-located north, now found just outside of Indianapolis.
