Sexual Mayhem at Airports: Whither Presidential Leadership?

Under the watchful eye of DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano, air travel through airports has turned into a harrowing experience for thousands of travelers and airline employees.

That would be the innocent souls who simply wish to get from Point A to Point B, and whom are shocked to learn that, in order to do so, one must be exposed to sexual assault and abuse at the hands of psychopaths working for TSA.

Charges of genital groping and fondling are being leveled by prudent travelers trying to get an early start on that Thanksgiving trip to grandma’s, most of whom said travelers are not particularly in the mood for sexual foreplay.

As reported at CNN.Com, in part:

A growing pilot and passenger revolt over full-body scans and what many consider intrusive pat-downs couldn't have come at a worse time for the nation's air travel system.

Thanksgiving, the busiest travel time of the year, is less than two weeks away.

Grassroots groups are urging travelers to either not fly or to protest by opting out of the full-body scanners and undergo time-consuming pat-downs instead.

Such concerns prompted a meeting Friday of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano with leaders of travel industry groups.

Napolitano met with the U.S.Travel Association and 20 travel companies "to underscore the Department's continued commitment to partnering with the nation's travel and tourism industry to facilitate the flow of trade and travel while maintaining high security standards to protect the American people," the department said in a statement.

Industry leaders are worried about the grassroots backlash to Transportation Security Administration security procedures. Some pilots, passengers and flight attendants have chosen to opt out of the revealing scans.

While the meeting with Secretary Napolitano was informative, it was not entirely reassuring," the U.S. Travel Association said in a statement

There's a shocker: "Meeting with Napolitano was was not entirely reassuring.”

What else should one expect from a cabinet member who holds her high post in deference to Affirmative Action quotas, rather than proven ability?

The even larger question to ponder: Where is the leadership from President Obama during a crisis with such huge implications for a vital segment of the economy and homeland security?

A Poignant Image of Democrats in the 111Th Congress: Babies Without Diapers!

In just a few short weeks, the term of the 111Th Congress will officially expire, proving that, although setting a definite time table for quitting a war is incredibly dumb, removing moon bats from office on a date certain can actually help save a struggling nation.

In the case of the 111Th, the unfortunate fact is that the official expiration lags significantly behind the “end of usefulness” date which, according to reliable sources, was on or about 1 January, 2009.

In the intervening 23 months, Nancy Pelosi and her court yard of thugs, hoodlums, tax evaders, and loan mortgage sharks have all but destroyed the most prosperous economy in human history, while making a mockery of law and order from coast-to-coast, or more specifically, from Rangel to Waters.

The legacy from the Pelosi House includes health care reform that makes nearly everyone sick, a stimulus bill that stimulates only the exploding federal deficit, and run away unemployment that will finally snare Democrat politicians come January.

So, what would be a poignant image that would capture the essence of the 111th Congress?

The Upside of the Obama Travesty


I am a black woman whose roots run deep in America—over a century back to someone brought here either from Africa or somewhere far from these shores. I was born into and reared in the Jim Crow South. My total existence until I reached undergraduate college consisted of black everything: schools, hospitals, doctors, dentists, the movie theatre, social functions, friends, and of course relatives. And none of this experience draws me even remotely close to the person of Barack Obama. Nor does it make me relate to black liberals and elitists anymore than it draws me to Caucasian liberals and elitists.

I do not see this man’s entrance upon the scene as praise-worthy, although he will be recorded in history as a “first.” Sadly, for all blacks who descended from slaves in America, he will be the historical face of “the first” black President—a man whose father was not American and who had a Marxist past and Muslim, Christian-hating faith; a mother whose leanings were not toward America’s founding principles; and many influential mentors, associates, and friends, none of whom were or are pro-America.

In addition, Barack Obama is avidly pro-abortion, insanely insistent upon forcing the homosexual agenda upon an unreceptive American populace; disdainful of the military and hell bent upon instituting open sodomy among the ranks with all the inherent horrors that move will entail; and he is arrogantly incompetent in the position of power that he now holds.

My response to Barack Obama is to ignore his existence to the degree that I can. What I knew of him and his past as he embarked upon his campaign compelled me to avoid any of his “mesmerizing” speeches. I tuned out the entire transfer of government (and that’s no mean feat). I did not watch any part of his inauguration ceremony or the speeches delivered after his election. I mute or change the channel whenever he appears on my television, and turn off my radio if I hear his voice. That I must go through these contortions to keep this man’s presence out of my home, makes me even more disdainful of his intrusion upon this nation.

Now, to the premise of this article: What is the upside of the Obama travesty? It is this. American white folks should never again have to vote for a President because he is black and they are guilt-ridden. Whites can stop obsessing about a past over which none of them had any control. Black-white race issues in this country can now take a back seat to reason when it comes to the choice of an American President.

Unfortunately, however, with every upside there is a corresponding downside. And that is, if ever again a person who is a shade or two darker than café-au-lait decides to run for President, that person will not be trusted. The attitude will be “been there, done that and don’t want to do it again.” That is indeed a travesty.

Obama and Pelosi Gulp “Achievement” Kool-Aid to Kill the Pain!

First it was Nancy Pelosi, Speaker of the U.S. House for another dreadful five weeks or so, who decided to throw a lavish party to “celebrate” the many achievements of Democrats in the 111Th Congress.

Achievements hailed as “progressive victories” by that wild party animal from San Francisco include a Marxist health care bill in great disfavor with a majority of Americans, relentless unemployment, and a crippling increase in the national deficit.

So, what’s to celebrate, Nance, except for the fact that 60-plus Congressional Democrats from your House head to the unemployment line in January and the Speaker’s gavel will be pried from your corrupt, Marxist hands and handed over to a responsible person with solid American credentials?

While most Americans are still rolling on the floor with laughter at Pelosi’s “Come Celebrate My Demise” bash, President Obama decided to join the frivolity with his own declaration of victory, when no such thing exists, domestically or internationally, the later especially on the heels of his $200 million dollar a day fiasco-boondoggle to Asia.

YOKOHAMA, Japan – President Barack Obama claimed a stronger hand on the world stage Friday despite electoral defeats at home, failure to get a free-trade agreement with South Korea and lackluster international support for his get-tough policy with China on trade and currency disputes.

The president flew to Japan for the APEC summit without the coveted trade pact with Korea or a united front with other countries against China's currency policy. He also endured a gusher of criticism from other countries about a decision by the U.S. central bank to pump $600 billion into the U.S. economy, something China, Germany and others believe could weaken the dollar and lead to inflation.

Even so, the president contended that his standing with world leaders is not diminished.”

As with Nancy Pelosi, delusions of grandeur seem to have overtaken BHO’s thought processes, thereby turning bitter defeat into coveted victory.

The burning question from all of this: Who is spiking the “achievement” Kool-Aid used by moon bats to kill the pain from November 2?

Pity for Nancy Pelosi?

Under most circumstance, the sight of a 70-year-old grandmother sitting alone on a dark, cold night after being mercilessly abandoned like a worn-out old shoe by ungrateful underlings would bring forth spontaneous waves of public compassion, sympathy and downright pity.

In the case of soon-to-be deposed Speaker of the U.S. House, Nancy Pelosi, however, chortling is the involuntary impulse that comes to the fore.

After all, this is the woman who once campaigned on the theme that, “Perhaps it will take a woman to clean the house,” and who, when put in charge of the House, proceeded to clutter the swamp with corruption and vice on a scale never before seen.

Almost single-handedly, Speaker Pelosi managed to turn ObamaCare into a synonym for bribery, corruption, political gerrymandering, fascism, and sneaky, behind-the- scenes deal making that blatantly ignored the will of the American people.

Pelosi’s reckless disregard for the will of the people cost sixty -plus Democrats their jobs and careers on November 2, as the will of the people was finally listened to, albeit reluctantly, and with no show of grace from Speaker Nancy, Madam of the Pelosi House of ill-repute.

In the aftermath of the great House Cleaning of 2010, executed by the only people that really count, the voters, Speaker Pelosi took her insanity to the next level by throwing a party to celebrate the great “achievements” of the 111th Congress.

Pelosi’s obvious attempt to spark support for her ill-advised run for minority leadership of the House was sabotaged when she attempted to rouse her troops by saying, "We have no intention of allowing our great achievements to be rolled back.”

To the 60 or so deposed Democrats who will not be around in Janaury to join the fight against the dreaded “roll back,” Pelosi’s promise was yet another frightening reminder of the partisan delusion that has eroded the mind and soul of this pathetic lefty.

Pity for Nancy Pelosi?

No, Hell no! Bring on the chortling!
