Greater Threat to American Liberty: Al-Quaeda or TSA?

By John W. Lillpop

Just when it seemed as though the Obama administration could not possibly be more hostile to American business, it now appears as though BHO and his cohorts have decided to bankrupt the airline industry.

This latest anti-business campaign, waged in the name of Homeland Security, involves fondling of genitals, naked body scans, and even turbine frisking, for heavens sake.

Turbine frisking? Now THAT is kinky!

As reported at Reference 1, in part:

PHOENIX - A flight attendants union with 2,000 members is upset over what it calls "invasive pat-downs" recently implemented by the TSA.

"We're getting calls daily about peoples' experiences, our members are concerned," said Deborah Volpe, Vice President of the Association of Flight Attendants Local 66.
Volpe confirmed that the union is offering advice to its flight attendants, who mostly work for Tempe-based USAirways, involving the security moves.

According to a union email obtained by ABC15, it tells flight attendants if they opt out of using the body scanner through security and are required to undergo a pat-down to ask the pat-down be conducted in a private area with a witness.

"We don't want them in uniform going through this enhanced screening where their private areas are being touched in public," said Volpe. "They actually make contact with the genital area."

Some passengers have told ABC15 they've already encountered flight delays due to crew members having problems with TSA employees.

"It (delay) was over three hours when they finally found a crew member to take her place," said Les Johnson who says his Charlotte bound flight was delayed. "She (flight attendant) felt that she was groped and supposedly filed a claim."

According to Volpe, complaints from flight attendants are expected to continue to increase and said some flight attendants are planning to file lawsuits.

"They've already contacted the ACLU," said Volpe when referring to some members of the union. "We don't know if somebody may have had an experience with a sexual assault and its (pat-down) going to drudge up some bad memories."

Which leads to the burning question: Which is the Greater Threat to American Liberty: Al-Quaeda or TSA?

Obama’s “Great Achievement” in Iraq: Much Ado About Nothing?

By John W. Lillpop

Earlier this year, Vice President Joe Biden startled the civilized world with his assessment of “great achievements” by the Obama administration.

In a classic demonstration of the dumbing down of U.S. politics, America’s government-funded clown said the following, in part:

I am very optimistic about -- about Iraq. I mean, this could be one of the great achievements of this administration. You're going to see 90,000 American troops come marching home by the end of the summer. You're going to see a stable government in Iraq that is actually moving toward a representative government.

I spent -- I've been there 17 times now. I go about every two months -- three months. I know every one of the major players in all the segments of that society. It's impressed me. I've been impressed how they have been deciding to use the political process rather than guns to settle their differences.

The most startling thing about the Veep’s comments is that he and his boss actually tried to take credit for a policy they bitterly opposed and would have killed had they been able to.

The second most startling thing is the current state of affairs in Iraq, which bears scant resemblance to any “great achievement,” however defined.

As widely reported in the media, in part:

The United States is open to the idea of keeping troops in Iraq past a deadline to leave next year if Iraq asks for it, U.S. Defense Secretary Robert Gates said Tuesday.

"We'll stand by," Gates said. "We're ready to have that discussion if and when they want to raise it with us."

A spike in violence in Iraq over the past two weeks has underscored the continued potency of al-Qaida and other Sunni extremists.

Hmmm.

Do you suppose Biden considers extension of US troops in Iraq an integral part of that“great achievement” of which he is so proud?

And how would those on the far-left, including anti-war zealots, assess the situation?

The fact is that Obama’s handling of Iraq is a “great achievement” only when compared to ObamaCare, the trillion dollar stimulus failure, unemployment, and other dismal failures by the Obama wrecking crew!

Comprehensive “Amnesty” Appears Dead: What Ever Shall We Do?

By John W. Lillpop

Moon bat liberals and Hispanic racists are in a deep dither over the election results because it now appears as though the foolishness know euphemistically as “Comprehensive” Immigration Reform, code for Amnesty for 12-38 million invading criminals, is dead in the water.

That “loud sucking sound” you hear is the noise generated by tens of millions of hands wringing in unison as Democrat politicians and advocates for illegals rue the latest turn of events.

How dare those haughty Americans ignore the contributions of tens of millions of dirt-poor, non-English speaking, illiterate, invaders who cost taxpayers more than $100 billion dollars a year?

All because of flimsy concerns about American national sovereignty, secure borders, homeland security, preservation of American language and culture, voter fraud,and the rule of law?

What to do?, they wail. In Spanish, of course.

Alas, there is a relatively simple solution, although its simplicity may not curry much favor among those who wish to re-make America into a suburb of Tee-Juana!

The Sane Solution: Enforce the bloody law!

Its official title is the “Immigration Reform and Control Act (IRCA) of 1986", see Reference 1, and this jewel was put on the books the last time America’s elitists decided that grape pickers and operators of hi-technology leaf-blowers needed relief from those withering American shadows.

IRCA came about as a trade for amnesty granted to 3-4 million invading criminals from Mexico in 1986.

It was supposed to put an end, once and for all, to the illegal invasion of America. That was to be accomplished by enforcement of IRCA, a notion that no administration, neither Democrat nor Republican, has even remotely considered!

It is way past time for American politicians to enforce IRCA in full, including deportation of the 12-38 million foreign illegal aliens who have come here since IRCA was signed into law.

Deporting all those illegals back to Mexico could be a real blessing to Mexico IF President Felipe Calderon would do the smart thing and deputize the lot in the war against drug cartels.

Now THAT would be a wean-wean!

What About All Those Military Ballots, Mr. President?

By John W. Lillpop

Democrats are infamous for fretting over every single, last vote in order to assure that not one voter is disenfranchised.

Except, that is, when it comes to ballots cast by voters who probably voted Republican.

Which is why in 2000 Al Gore made a feeble effort to recount only heavily Democratic precincts in Florida; an act of attempted larceny that would have gifted him with enough votes to overcome W.’s lead throughout the rest of that great state.

That gambit failed miserably as the U.S. Supreme Court saw through Gore’s chicanery and refused to allow Democrats to steal the election.

As was the case in 2000, the Democrat Party and its hoodlum lawyers worked overtime on November 2 to suppress Republican votes, this time focusing on disenfranchisement of the very men and women who make it possible for Americans to vote in the first place.

That would be men and women in the United States military, most of whom vote via absentee ballot.

As reported at Reference 1, in part:

Eric Eversole, executive director of the Military Voter Protection Project, told CNSNews.com., "I'm incredibly concerned that ballots were mailed out 25 days before an election, meaning there is a significant chance they won't make it to service members prior to an election," "Will some troops be disenfranchised? Possibly. How widespread, I don't know."

As part of congressional hearings for the MOVE Act, studies showed it can take more than 30 days for a ballot to get to a combat area, Eversole said.

His organization called the apparent delays in mailing overseas ballots to the attention of Attorney General Eric Holder in September.

Last week, Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights Thomas Perez said the Justice Department has helped 65,000 voters through enforcement action.

But the Justice Department has not been doing what it needs to do to ensure that all military votes are counted, said Rep. Dan Lungren (R-Calif.), the ranking member of the House Administration Committee.

"If the Voting Rights Section has 20 staff members engaged in a nationwide compliance program, I would expect they would detect noncompliance promptly without relying on private organizations," Lungren wrote in an Oct. 28 letter to Perez.

"The claim to have 'helped' 65,000 voters whose ballots were, in fact, sent late seems to illustrate failure rather than success, and the department seems to be more focused on protecting its image than on building an effective mechanism to produce compliance."
As indicated in Reference 2, problems with the military vote were particularly acute in Illinois.

Illinois?

Is it sheer coincidence that Barack Obama’s home state was remise in making the vote accessible for those in the military who, for the most part, would vote against Obama’s Marxist cohorts?

Although the Republican tsunami has taken some of the urgency out of getting to the bottom of the mismanagement of the military vote, the GOP must not shrink from the challenge to investigate and punish those responsible.

No American is more deserving of the right to vote that American military folks and the GOP must move boldly to assure that those patriotic Americans are not denied this most precious right!

30 Dumb Lies Foisted on America by BHO & Friends

By John W. Lillpop

Over the past 22 plus months, there has been a quantum leap in the number of really dumb lies that our government has foisted on what they assume to be an unsuspecting public.

30 of the most pathetically stupid include:

( )When confronted with a domestic or international crisis of epic proportions, President Obama does not “dither”; rather, his is the cool, collected demeanor of a gifted intellectual who does his best decision-making while on the golf course, or while plopped on the beach at Waikiki;

( )Covering 30 million heretofore uninsured people with ObamaCare will lower overall health costs and eat away at the federal deficit;

( )Bankrupting the coal industry is a legitimate function of the federal government if it will help protect the environment;

( )Afghanistan is the “right” war.

( ) Conservatives like Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, and Glenn Beck are dangerous demagogues who would do well to emulate the objective and non-partisan professionalism of Keith Olbermann and Chris Matthews;

( )The 2008 elections ushered in an era of liberal dominance that will last 40 years, or longer;

( )Publicly announcing s definite time line for withdrawal of U.S. troops will in no way aid the Taliban or other U.S. enemies in Afghanistan;

( )Barack Obama is uniquely qualified by virtue of intellect, judgment, and temperament to unite America past hundreds of years of bitter racial rancor;

( )Single-party rule of both the Executive and Legislative branches is not a hindrance to honest, open government and has no impact whatsoever on transparency;

( )The Iraq war is among the greatest achievements of the Obama administration;

( )Paying higher taxes is the patriotic thing to do;

( )Thanks to Barack Obama, America is experiencing an era of post-partisanship and post-racism, unprecedented in this nation’s history;

( )The “inherited” Bush depression ended as a result of the Obama-inspired “Summer of Recovery”:

( )The U.S.-Mexico border has never been so secure;

( )Tea Party members are rigid racists, whereas members of the NAACP and La Raza are color-blind patriots who thrive on diversity and tolerance;

( )Mexico is a valued and trustworthy friend of America;

( )Voter fraud exists only among Republican candidates and voters; whereas, public service volunteers like those affiliated with ACORN are vital to protecting the right to vote, without regard to superfluous details like registration, immigration status, criminal background, and other unconstitutional pap designed solely to disenfranchise people of color;

( )Money is the antithesis of Democratic elections, except when an inexperienced, but wealthy, community organizer needs $750 million dollars or so to promote the audacity of hope and untold trillions in unneeded CHANGE:

( )In the rich tradition of conservative leaders, Sarah Palin is a blithering idiot without the native intelligence of a Mama Grizzly, whereas Nancy Pelosi is a brilliant moralist whose spiritual insights into abortion and gay marriage would be of immense value to the Catholic Church, if only Pope Benedict would listen;

( )There are “only” 12 million illegal aliens in the U.S, all of whom are tremendous assets for America’s economy, homeland security, language, and culture;

( )The science on climate change is final and conclusive: Without question, global warming is a man-made phenomenon, regardless of what may be stated in hundreds of e-mails from the Climate Research Unit at East Anglia University in the United Kingdom;

( )Hot tea is not an effective antidote to ward off festering liberalism, notwithstanding the results of the November 2 election;

( )Obama-Care Death Panels are urgently needed to help GOD manage the explosion of life-death decisions attendant with the aging of baby boomers;

( )The trillion dollar “stimulus” created or saved 3.5 to 4 million jobs; and last, but not least,

( )Health Care reform is a BFD!

Savvy?
