Napolitano on Obama Response to Oil Nightmare: “System Worked”

As beaches in the Gulf States are being converted to repositories for raw, unrefined petroleum, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano is calling for calm while defending the lethargic dithering of Barack Obama.

As she did after the attempted terrorist attack over Detroit on Christmas Day, Napolitano suggested that the “system worked” when in fact the entire world knows that President Obama has chalked up another miserable failure of epic proportions.

As reported in part at reference 1:

“This was a situation that was treated as a possible catastrophic failure from day one,” Janet Napolitano, homeland security secretary, said on NBC. “We had independent projections being done at the beginning and realise this incident evolved over time.”

“The administration has faced criticism that a “controlled burn” of the spill did not begin until four days after a new leak was discovered. Ms Napolitano, who along with other US officials took to the airwaves on Sunday to discuss the leak, said early efforts to contain the spill had been impeded by weather conditions.

“Mother Nature has not exactly been friendly,” she said on ABC News.”

Has big, bad Mother Nature unfairly picked on our inexperienced president and the dim wits in his cabinet? Shame on mean old Mum Nature!

Perhaps the old gal is a racist Republican looking to produce a “Waterloo” for our incompetent chief?

Still, Mother Nature did deal America a rotten hand when she made it possible for Napolitano to secure a responsible position with government.

Read Out Lips: NO New Amnesty!

To Harry Reid, most Democrats, all RINOs, and President Obama:

We the people understand that the U.S. Senate is considering yet another idiotic attempt to grant amnesty to upwards of 38 million illegal aliens who have invaded the sovereign nation known as the United States.

With all due respect to the Majority Leader and other pro-amnesty colleagues, what Part of NO NEW AMNESTY do you not understand?

For the benefit of slow learners and those in denial, let us reiterate why the majority of Americans everywhere, from all political persuasions, are against amnesty for the criminals who have invaded America:

In short, we the people are:

FED UP with plans to merge the United States into a North American alliance with Canada and Mexico. Such a plan would destroy American sovereignty and is totally unacceptable.

FED UP with the refusal of the federal government to secure our borders at time of war.

FED UP when armed Mexicans illegally cross our borders and assault Americans, yet our government takes no action, and refuses to even protest.

FED UP when Americans defending the U.S. from drug smuggling illegal aliens are sent to federal prison, while invading criminals are to be forgiven via amnesty for violating our borders and laws.

FED UP with the fact that upwards of 38 million illegal aliens are currently in America, and cost taxpayers hundreds of billions of dollars every year.

FED UP with a president who orders 160,000 young Americans into harm's way thousands of miles from home, but who refuses to secure America.

FED UP with politicians who refuse to enforce immigration laws and who claim it is "impossible" to deport criminals here illegally.

FED UP with illegal aliens who can not and/or will not speak English.

FED UP with taxpayer dollars being wasted to print documents in foreign languages.

FED UP with illegal aliens who dump their medical bills on the backs of U.S. taxpayers, but who send $30-40 billion a year back to Mexico each year.

FED UP with the fact that providing free medical services to illegal aliens drives hospitals out of business, making those facilities unavailable to American citizens for whom the medical centers were intended.

FED UP with our schools being invaded by non-English speaking children who impede the learning process of students who genuinely belong here.

FED UP with the fact that federal, state, and local penal systems are overrun by illegal aliens, again costing taxpayers billions each year.

FED UP with the fact that, on average, illegal aliens kill 12 Americans every day.

FED UP with the fact that the overwhelming majority of felony crimes being investigated in Los Angeles have been committed by illegals from Mexico.

FED UP with politicians who refuse to round up and deport millions of illegal aliens who are destroying American culture and language.

FED UP with politicians who pamper illegal aliens with driver's licenses and free public services, which encourage even more invaders to come to America.

FED UP with the attempted Mexicanization of America. Mexico is a third- world slum, and we are FED UP with those who want America to be like Mexico!

Finally, Mr. President and members of the U.S. Congress, we the people are FED UP with those who consistently work on behalf of illegal aliens and the state of Mexico, and against the interests of the American people!

Please do not underestimate the dissatisfaction and rage swelling in the hearts of patriotic Americans on this vital issue.

We the people DEMAND our great country back!

Lord, Have We Offended Thee?

As scores of millions around the globe celebrated Earth Day on April 22, the old gal (Mother Earth) seems rather shaken, rattled, and rolled.

Consider the events of the past year:

Major oil spill in the Gulf bringing unprecedented environmental and financial damage;

Devastating earthquakes, including one so violent that it reportedly altered the earth’s axis;

Eruption of volcanoes which essentially shut down Europe for a while;

Massive loss of life and property as a result of floods;

Ongoing wars and wars in the making;

Increasing possibility that nuclear weapons will fall into the hands of theocratic monsters looking to provoke Armageddon so as to initiate the promised return of a mythical Inman stuck in a well;

Collapse of economies and political structures once considered stable;

Acceptance and active promotion of acts and behavior once considered sinful and perverted;

Catholic Church embroiled in sex scandals and abuse of children so wide spread and pervasive that even the sitting Pope is chastened;

Hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens marching for their non-existent “rights”;

Pandemics declared as a threat to the lives of millions.


The most eerie calamity on the world stage is the ascension of an inexperienced Marxist to the presidency of the United States and the systematic dismantling of the world’s most successful society, including hasty abandonment of the values that made America great.

The burning question: Dear Lord, Have we offended thee?

How Would W. Handle Gulf Oil Crisis?

President Obama’s lethargic dithering on the massive oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico may make President Bush’s alleged “slow response” to Katrina seem trivial by comparison.

As reported at the Washington Times, in part: (1)

“The rapidly expanding environmental catastrophe caused by the oil spill off the coast of Louisiana is presenting a growing political challenge to the Obama White House, with Mr. Obama and his aides at pains to defend the response and forestall comparisons to the Hurricane Katrina crisis.

“Nine days after British Petroleum's Deepwater Horizon oil rig blew apart and began spewing 5,000 barrels of oil a day into the Gulf of Mexico, a massive oil slick is set to wash ashore on the southern coast Thursday evening and, experts say, could dwarf the damage caused by the Exxon Valdez oil spill in Alaska.

“Failure to get control of the relief effort and contain the environmental challenge could pose the same kind of political threat to Mr. Obama's popular standing that the much-criticized handling of the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina did for former President George W. Bush. And unlike Katrina, it is likely the federal government will be the clear lead authority in dealing with the BP spill.

“But Mr. Obama only Thursday dispatched Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano, Interior Secretary Ken Salazar and Environmental Protection Agency administrator Lisa Jackson to help coordinate the federal response to the potential environmental disaster.”

With all due respect, Mr. President, seems a pity that Michael Brown, FEMA honcho at the time of Katrina, is not available to deal with this disaster! Even with a "tepid" response, Brownie would serve the nation far better than Janet Napolitano who is more likely to get in the way than actually help!

Even more of a pity is the fact that W. is not in charge at this time of national crisis. Say what you will about President Bush, but the undeniable truth is that the man knows and understands oil.

President Obama’s understanding of oil is limited to his Marxist perception that oil is an evil and that the oil industry is to be bankrupt in the interests of environmental radicalism.

W., your spending and immigration policies were maddening at times, but, man, we miss your common-sense mindset on other issues, big time!

Victory in Victoria, Texas!

What with all the talk of boycotting Arizona over SB 1070, it might do well to examine the success of such ventures in other venues.

This uplifting story came via e-mail. The author’s name is unknown so the veracity and timing of the piece is difficult to measure.

Nevertheless, the story sounds plausible:

“Victoria, Texas is a town about 80 miles west of Houston. Local Hispanic leaders there, in opposition to pending Immigration Legislation, boycotted all Caucasian -owned businesses in the Victoria area last month as a demonstration of their economic impact on the community.

“The boycott was declared a success by the Hispanic community, noting that revenue in Caucasian owned businesses was down by 19%.

“Business owners declared the boycott a success as well, pointing out that shoplifting was reduced by 77%, money orders sent out of the country were down by 97%, and the cost of daily clean-up and trash collection was down by 84%.

“Shoppers reported that they could actually hear English being spoken throughout the community for the first time in recent memory, and customers actually paid for purchases with real money, not government debit cards or food stamps!”

May the idiot-sponsored boycotts of Arizona be as profitable for the good people of that state as were the boycotts for Americans in Victoria, Texas!
