As the facts about health care reform are scrutinized by reasonable people and measured against reality, support for President Obama's plans has evaporated, or at least diminished significantly.
In response, Obama has tried to blame his declining fortunes on Republicans like Jim DeMint (R-SC) whom the president claims are using "scare tactics" and misinformation to counter his signature initiative.
The irony is that Obama is issuing all sorts of dire warnings about the consequences of not acting NOW on the Democrats' proposals.
Unfortunately for the president, the most potent critics of Obamacare originate with Blue Dog Democrats and even more importantly, the Congressional Budget Office (CB).

"For the second time this month, congressional budget analysts have dealt a blow to the Democrat's health reform efforts, this time by saying a plan touted by the White House as crucial to paying for the bill would actually save almost no money over 10 years.
"A key House chairman and moderate House Democrats on Tuesday agreed to a White House-backed proposal that would give an outside panel the power to make cuts to government-financed health care programs. White House budget director Peter Orszag declared the plan "probably the most important piece that can be added" to the House's health care reform legislation.
"But on Saturday, the Congressional Budget Office said the proposal to give an independent panel the power to keep Medicare spending in check would only save about $2 billion over 10 years- a drop in the bucket compared to the bill's $1 trillion price tag. "
Given the fact that there is so much informed opposition to the Obamacare package, one wonders why the president does not take a long, deep breath, and cogitate on this huge issue, with input from others, before throwing another $1.6 trillion down the drain?
Part of Obama's campaign rhetoric was how cool, calm and collected candidate Obama was. For example during the economic meltdown last fall, John McCain suggested that a scheduled Obama-McCain debate be canceled so that both candidates could return to Washington, D.C. to deal with the crisis.
Obama asserted his "cool and calm" approach and insisted that the debate go on as scheduled.
What happened to all that cool and calm demeanor now that Obama is president? Why does he demand that trillion dollar measures be adopted without considering the consequences, instead relying on fairy tale concepts of hope and change ?

Obama Should Listen to Bill Cosby: Keep Mouth Shut!

Recent events suggest that if there is a "Waterloo" moment for President Obama, it will be a direct result of his inexperience and unwise behavior.
Indeed, the president seems quite capable of "destroying my presidency" on his own, without help from Senator DeMint, other Republicans, or Blue Dog Democrats.
The latest evidence of that is the political firestorm caused by Obama's foolish comment about police stupidity in the arrest of Professor Gates. That unnecessary remark leads one to question not only Obama's constitutional eligibility to be president, but his qualifications in terms of judgment as well.
Is this fellow up to be being president of the United States? is a question being asked by people who were blinded by Obamamania just a few months ago.
Obama's faux pas has elicited strong words from people whom would normally be considered pro-Obama, such as celebrity Bill Cosby.

"On a Boston radio program this morning, Bill Cosby suggested that President Obama spoke too soon on the controversial arrest of Harvard professor Henry Louis Gates.
“I’ve heard about five different reports [on the details of the arrest],” Cosby said on Boston’s WZLX. “If I’m the president of the United States, I don’t care how much pressure people want to put on it about race, I’m keeping my mouth shut.”
“I was shocked to hear the president making this kind of statement,” Cosby said."
Later in the day, Cosby backtracked somewhat by giving the president some leeway. Still, Cosby's words reveal just how out of touch President Obama is.
Bottom line: President Obama Should Heed Bill Cosby's Advise and Keep Mouth Shut!

Where All Those Jobs You Promised, Mr. President?

Back in February, President Obama told Congress and the nation that it was essential that $1 trillion be injected into the American economy to create new jobs and spark economic recovery.
According to the president, passage of the stimulus bill was so urgent that we could not afford to take time for Congress to read the 1,000+-page monster.
We need it NOW to save America, said President Obama at the time.
Five months later, the only thing that the Democrat bill has stimulated is the federal deficit which has exploded out of control and which threatens the economic prosperity of untold generations of Americans not yet born.
Meanwhile the economy continues to hemorrhage jobs at an alarming pace and unemployment may reach 10 percent or higher this summer.
And President Obama's "solution" to America's economic misery is? Spend another $1.6 trillion to reform health care!
According to Obama, fixing health care is central to America's economic recovery.
With all due respect, Mr. President, shouldn't we wait to see if that stimulus bill actually creates any new jobs before throwing another $1.6 trillion on another program that you not familiar with?
Bottom line: What about all those new jobs you promised, Mr. President?

More Leftist Idiocy: Forcing Inferior Health Care on American Citizens in order to Cover Illegal Aliens

Have liberals lost their collective minds? Perhaps the thrill of having unchecked power has made Democrats oblivious to common sense and reasonable thought?
Whatever the cause, most Democrats, including President Obama, seem intoxicated by their own press clippings and intent on pushing liberal insanity to the max.
For instance, the grotesque health care reform bill in the US House would force hundreds of millions of American citizens into inferior, HMO-type health care in order to cover tens of millions of illegal aliens.
Illegal aliens who have no right to even be in America, much less cared for at the expense of American citizens!
How in the hell can such idiotic thinking originate with any party other than the Communist Party of the United States (CPUS)?
Even more profound, why in the hell is the president of the United States supporting such reform at a time when the national economy is in free fall and the national deficit has exploded as a result of his reckless spending mistakes?
If President Obama and his leftist supporters really cared about American citizens, they would secure our borders and deport every last illegal alien.
To provide health care benefits to invading criminals would be utterly stupid, and would only invite another 20 million or so to invade and our nation.
Wake up President Obama and liberals everywhere: We don't need no stinkin' health care for illegal aliens!
Kick illegal aliens out and focus on protecting and meeting the needs of American citizens, or face deportation from elective office at the hands of American citizens!
