Barack Obama’s “Bad- Hair” Month

By John W. Lillpop

If one could take a sneak peek into President Obama’s personal diary, the month of November 2010 might have a cryptic entry along these lines:

Dear Diary: November sucks!

BHO

And, indeed, for President Obama November has been nothing but awful news compounded by awful news, made all the worse by an administration that refuses to admit the truth: The President’s policies suck!

November’s trouncing began on Tuesday, November 2, when America went to the polls and registered an unequivocal NO! with regard to Obama’s CHANGE and to most Democrats who supported same.

Some seats in the U.S. House are still undecided, but no matter, because voters acted to clean the House, something that a certain Shrieker- woman was unable to accomplish after four long years. As a consequence, more than 60 House Democrats will be drawing unemployment checks in January, thanks to Nancy Pelosi.

Voter repudiation of Obama Marxism was also evident in the U.S. Senate where the GOP picked up six seats, effectively ending Obama’s ability to rule by fiat.

After conceding that he suffered a “Shellacking,” in the elections, the President escaped on a 10-day junket through Asia where he hoped to bag a free-trade agreement with South Korea and persuade G-20 attendees to follow his lead on dealing with China.

However, instead of asserting his regal power on the global stage, Barack Obama was rebuffed time and again, thereby confirming the verdict delivered by America voters on 2 November, which was: President Obama’s judgment is very much suspect and must be unrelentingly challenged when necessary!

Back “home” after the Asian fiasco, the president sought to enhance his self-esteem and public image by winning confirmation of the START Treaty with Russia in the U.S. Senate.

Once again, President Obama was smacked into place, this time by Senator John Kyle, the well-respected Republican from Arizona who has said that ratification should not be rushed during the current lame duck session.

President Obama is still fighting this battle, but it will take 67 votes in the Senate to confirm SALT.

While the SALT Treaty is being sorted out, Obama’s hair-brained scheme to try terrorists in civilian courts suffered a major blow when jurors convicted Ahmed Ghailani of conspiracy to blow up government buildings in the al-Qaida attacks on two U.S. embassies in 1998, but acquitted him on more than 280 other charges.

That legal malfeasance almost surely means an end to Obama’s goofy pipe-dream of closing GITMO.

Another day, another bitter defeat for the naïve and inexperienced community organizer from Illinois.

Were he a major-league baseball player rather than U.S. President, Barack Obama would be headed for a long-term stint in some dreary Class D farm club in the low minors to work on his mechanics-- and to acquire “additional seasoning.”

Unfortunately for America, this is not baseball and the nation must wait until November 2012 to give Barack Obama his well earned, and richly -deserved, “unconditional release.”

God speed November 6, 2012 while blessing the American people with the courage, strength and patience to endure until that date, when the Obama Presidency can be terminated!
