Instead of retreating to Chicago for Memorial Day, should America’s farcical Nobel Peace Prize winner issue yet another apology for the tragic error that cost 23 Afghan civilians their lives in February?
A “biting” military report on the subject would seem to present a perfect opportunity for The One to relieve, at least temporarily , his pent-up need to “Blame America” for all things gone awry in the world over the past several centuries.

What Is It About the Sestak Mess That Sounds So Familiar?

As the cover up of the Sestak fiasco absorbs more and more of President Obama’s time and energy, one has a vague recollection of a similar crisis involving a senate seat some where in the bowels of the American heartland. A recent crisis it was, if memory serves.
Unfortunately, age diminishes the ability to immediately recall every finite detail, but as the haze clears ever so slightly, one remembers that the previous scandal involved a vacant U.S. Senate seat in—was it Illinois?
By gosh, I believe it was.

Oh, and the name Rahm Emanuel surfaces from the prior mess as well. He was allegedly an integral part of that other mess, was, and is, up to his corrupt jaw in Illinois mobster politics, and was, and is, a political hit man for a powerful Democrat.

The name Barack Obama is prominent in both cases. Fascist control of the U.S. Senate is the objective. Money is no object.

That would apparently include New Orleans resident and Democratic strategist James Carville.
As reported at reference 1, in part, the Raging Cajun begs to differ with his Democrat president and even goes so far as to call Obama’s response “political stupidity."

An unsightly oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico is turning beaches in Louisiana to BP theme parks, while driving Bam’s approval numbers down precariously close to those achieved by W., with help from the mainstream media
Mind you, Obama did try to act decisively to fix another mess inherited from W., this time with an Executive Order that demanded that BP and his own government “Plug the damned hole!”
What leadership! What brilliance! What great and inspiring oratory!
In reality, what more can be expected from a community organizer who has never been held responsible for anything in his entire life?
Besides, it is the Gulf of Mexico, why not let Felipe Calderon deal with it?
Notwithstanding the pressing issues of the day, Obama continues to make time for the mundane and the meaningless.

DHS Terrorist Alert: Jihad Coming to America via Mexico

After the terrorist attacks of 9/11, securing America’s porous with Mexico should have been an urgent priority of the federal government.
After all, America was at war and everyone knew that the U.S.-Mexico border was a potentially dangerous portal for those who would wish to do harm to our citizens.
Unfortunately, politicians from both parties were more concerned with providing greedy corporate moguls with a constant flow of cheap labor and Democrats with a steady flow of new voters than they were with the well- being of the American people.
In the view of some, America was blessed when our borders and immigration laws were violated by millions of non-English speaking, uneducated, and unskilled illegal aliens.
After all, those who came were “hard-working, good-hearted” aliens who invaded because of a passion for freedom, Democracy, and America’s cultural traditions and values.
This mindless disregard for the safety and security of American citizens has grown dramatically worse under the Marxist regime of Barack Obama who, during a recent visit by Mexican President Calderon, stated that borders do not define the relationship between Mexico and America.
President Obama even went so far as to reduce the border patrol budget.
Obama’s naive and dangerous lack of respect for American sovereignty may actually help spread Jihad into the homeland from across the Mexican border.
A recent terrorist alert from the Department of Homeland Security is an example of impending doom brought to us by politicians who do not seem to care.

Example: In the health care fiasco, Obama argued that America’s health care bill would be reduced by adding 30 million uninsured to the ranks of the insured.
Since then, of course, we have learned that, in fact, ObamaCare will increase health care costs by $150 billion a year, an estimate that is probably off by a factor of ten or more.
Another example: In the unemployment fiasco, Obama urged immediate passage of a $1 trillion dollar “stimulus” that he guaranteed would add or save 3-4 million jobs.
Fourteen months later, unemployment and the federal deficit are both soaring and no one in the Obama administration has a clue about the whereabouts of that trillion dollars.
Now Obama’s new math is being touted as the way to fix the immigration mess. Following a rancorous meeting with Republicans, Obama has agreed to send 1,200 troops to the U.S. Mexico border.
1,200?
How about a few more zeros on that number, BHO? Why not send at least 120,000 troops?
Obama made his magnanimous offer to Republicans in exchange for their support on the immigration reform front which would grant amnesty for 12-36 million illegal aliens!
What a deal!

How to Explain Stupid Behavior by Mexican-American Students? Look to President Calderon and Congressional Democrats!

When 60 irate Mexican-American students walked out of classes in Morgan Hill, California on May 6 to protest the flying of Old Glory on Cinco de Mayo day, many thinking Americans scratched their heads and wondered:
What in the world is wrong with these kids? Why do they behave so stupidly? Who is teaching this mindless idiocy?
The fact that young students would act so irrationally and with such hostility towards the symbol of freedom and liberty---the American flag--- needs to be addressed, and with urgency!
Clearly, some students are being brain-washed in their homes by parents who hate America, except for the dinero, and by the mainstream media which fosters this sort of sedition by always advocating on behalf of Mexico, including illegal aliens, and against America.
Always!
Marching behind two large Mexican flags, the students claimed they were sending an urgent message: Mexicans are proud of their heritage and wearing red, white and blue on Cinco de Mayo is disrespectful.
Is it even possible to be more contradictory?
Although parental negligence is largely responsible for the wrong-minded thinking of muddled students, it would be a mistake to overlook the damage that done when Mexican President Felipe Calderon stands before the U.S. Congress and scolds the state of Arizona for defending its citizens against invasions from Calderon’s third-word Mexico.
The hypocrisy is even more unfathomable given Mexico’s own dismal treatment of illegal aliens. Indeed, Amnesty International recently declared a “Human Rights Crisis” in Mexico based on the fact that Latinos who wander onto Mexican soil without papers risk being kidnapped, raped, or murdered.
Kidnapped, raped, or murdered, and yet Calderon is aghast at an Arizona law which merely authorities law enforcement to question those suspected or being in America illegally?
It is that sort of muddled thinking that can cause impressionable students to conclude that flying the American flag on a Mexican holiday is somehow “incendiary.”
Unfortunately, Calderon is not alone in providing a rotten example for the young to emulate.
Congressional Democrats actually left their seats in order to afford President Calderon several standing ovations.
In a repugnant display of political treason at it most treacherous, liberals cheered wildly in support of Calderon’s rhetoric against Arizona and its courageous leaders who are struggling to deal with the financial and social devastation brought to Arizona and America by third-world invaders from Calderon’s Mexico.
With pathetic role models like Felipe Calderon and Congressional Democrats around, it should come as no great surprise that Mexican-American students need to study the U.S. Constitution, the Bill of Rights, the rule of law, and accept the United States as their “home” of allegiance.
Only then will these students earn the respect they claim to so desperately want.
Why California Is Bankrupt: Liberals Refuse to “Live Within Our Means”

By now, the entire world has heard that California can no longer pay its bills. The amount of money going out exceeds the amount coming in. Real simple arithmetic is in play here when you think about it.
Except, this is California, you see. Not only do the basic laws of nature not apply here, but the fundamentals of finance and common sense have gone missing as well.
To the outsider, California's dilemma is paradoxical.
After all, this is home to Silicon Valley and high technology. Geniuses are everywhere, and the state is renowned for being on the cutting edge on all issues from sex to science.
Brilliance abounds, EXCEPT in state government because California is cursed with a gaggle of extreme tax and spend liberals in the State Assembly.
An example of outrageous liberal recklessness is described by writer Jon Coupal, president of the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association and a tireless leader in the never-ending battle to contain liberal spending.

And why did these same tax-and-spend lawmakers, who use children and the poor as human shields to defend raising taxes, approve Proposition 1A for the May Special Election ballot that would have perpetuated these highly regressive taxes for an additional two years?"
So again, just why is California bankrupt? Because of moronic Democrats like Assemblywoman Noreen Evans.
A question for the moon bat Evans:
If your teenager continued to overdraw his/her checking account, funded solely by you, how would you handle the matter?
A. Close the account and burn the unused checks and ATM cards, or
B. Continue to increase the young person's allowance and cover all those inevitable "insufficient funds" fees.
Which would it be?
Democrats in Sacramento are solidly behind Option B, with Noreen Evans the best example of fuzzy headed thinking.
California citizens need to form an alliance and take action to end this stupidity.
My suggestion: When the time comes to vote, look for the D on the ballot. That denotes “Ding Bat” and it should be considered a red flag which carries the following warning: DON’T vote for a Democrat!

Thick Gobs of Oil Close Louisiana Beach: Whither Big Brother and Nanny Janet?

2. Congressional Democrats actually left their seats in order to afford the pathetic foreigner several standing ovations.
In a repugnant display of political treason at it most treacherous, liberals cheered wildly in support of Calderon’s retarded rhetoric against Arizona and its courageous leaders who are struggling to deal with the financial and social devastation brought to Arizona and America by third-world invaders from Calderon’s Mexico.

Arizona Governor Jan Brewer may very well go down in history as America’s 21st century version of Paul Revere.
Borrowing from Paul Revere’s clarion warning that, “The British are coming! The British are coming” the good governor has been a leader in alerting Americans to the fact that “The illegal aliens are coming!”
In fact, of course, they, approximately 12-38 million strong, are already occupying (illegally) large swaths of the great American landscape.
Therefore, Brewer’s message, as set forth in SB 1070, should be seen as acknowledgement of the fact that it is the responsibility of government to prevent even more invasions, AND to identify the criminals already here in order to process said violators for one-way tickets back to Mexico, or other nation of origin.

After all, back in 2009, the Obama brand was still “hot” with the unwashed masses, and a definite plus for aspiring Democratic candidates, even old, recycled prunes like Specter.
My how things have changed! This year, after being booted out of office after 30 years of “service,” Specter probably looks back and regrets the ad which featured Obama declaring, “I love Arlene Specter!”
For sure, Specter’s own flip-flops and leftist thinking are a major reason why he is being forced to eat the bitter fruit of defeat after Tuesday night.
However, Democrats would be well-advised not to underestimate the powerful impact of Obama’s “I love Arlene Specter” blathering.
It’s the latest phenomenon in political hell-raising, and is aptly named ObamaPhobia.
It refers to the “had up to here” attitude that many, many Americans are expressing with regard to the illegal alien Marxist now occupying the Oval Office and those who support him in Congress.
ObamaPhobia is growing daily and may very well reach pandemic stage before November. It afflicts all manner of Americans, rich and poor, young and old, educated and not, lily white and people of color, liberal and conservative, etc.

With the fellow who is supposed to be the president of the United States standing beside him, Mexican President Felipe Calderon stuck his meddlesome nose into the affairs of our sovereign nation by launching a bitter assault on Arizona’s new law, SB 1070.
In part, Calderon’s remarks were translated into English as follows (1):
"We can do so with a community that will promote a dignified life and an orderly way for both our countries, who are, some of them, still living here in the shadows with such laws as the Arizona law that is placing our people to face discrimination.”
Did Calderon really say “placing our people to face discrimination”?
When the President of Mexico is so completely language flawed,it is any wonder that lesser –educated, less bright Mexicans in California think it “incendiary” to fly the America flag on Cinco de Mayo day?
Oh, for the good old days of W.!
If former U.S. President W. Bush was still in power, he would have made everything as clear as Texas mud by declaring that,”Calderon mis-underestimates the good people of Arizona. Hispanically speaking, that is!”
Calderon apologists were quick to point out that the garbled message was the fault of translators—in the employ of the Mexican government we would add.
Even with allowances for lousy translators, President Calderon is hardly off the hook for poor communications.
Example: Calderon also stated that the United States and Mexico need to work together to build a “border that unites us.”
Therein lays the problem, patriots!
Calderon and his third-world mobsters see the border as a unifying force, whereas, as any first grader can tell you, the purpose of the border is to separate!
It’s called U.S. sovereignty, President Calderon!
In simpler terms, it means that the United States is a separate, sovereign entity from Mexico, as defined by our borders.
Unlike much of Mexico, America operates in accordance with the rule of law, which applies to everyone, including Calderon's fellow citizens trying to escape the horrors of Mexico by invading America illegally.
Again, America is a sovereign entity separate and distinct from Mexico. We intend to keep it that way!
As a sovereign state, America neither needs nor desires input from foreign “leaders” such as you, President Calderon, concerning our laws and statutes.
When it comes to eradicating racist and discriminatory laws, we suggest that you start with Mexico’s barbaric immigration laws and dismal treatment of illegal aliens, which Amnesty International recently described as a “human rights crisis.”

30 Years On, and What Has Arlen Specter Got to Show for It?

Pity poor Arlene Specter. The man turned 80 years old in February, and has spent the last 30 years working in the United States Senate.
Typically, an 80 year old man leaving a job which he has held for 30 years would be entitled to a gold watch or something equally inane to commemorate his contributions.
However, in Specter’s case, leaving his job was nothing as glamorous or special as retirement. There was no magnifiant golden parachcute deal worth millions for the this political cross-dressing weasel from Pennsylvanian.
Rather, Specter was forcibly thrown out of office by voters who finally said, “enough is enough!” You are neither Democrat nor Republican and we are tired of your sorry self.
Thus ends the saga of the man who thought he had caught lightening in a bottle by following the pipings of one Barack Obama who, in April of 2009, seemed to have all the answers for all time.
All too late, Specter discovered that Obama’s piping was just another fairy tale that leads only to political ruin.
Still, it could not have happened to a more deserving fellow!
Obama Dishonors Memory of Murdered Rancher Rob Krentz

By all accounts, Arizona rancher Robert Krentz was a decent man who had the awful misfortune of being in the wrong place at the wrong time when he was murdered in cold blood.
The wrong place was on his own private property in Arizona.
Wrong, because Krentz, an American citizen, was shot and killed by an illegal alien (allegedly) from Mexico. The wrong time was close to midnight on March 27.
According to authorities, the motive for this cold-blooded slaughter may have something to do with the fact that the victim's brother, Phil Krentz, reported drug smuggling activity on the ranch to the Border Patrol.
That ranch, the Krentz Ranch, has been in the Krentz family for more than 100 years.
Despite the murder of Robert Krentz and the general drug-smuggling and killing carnage taking place at the U.S.-Mexico border, President Obama welcomed Mexican President Felipe Calderon to the White House on May 19 by stating that the relationship between America and third-world Mexico is not defined by the border.
Obama’s outrageous lack of respect for Americans who have suffered at the hands of Mexican illegal aliens is yet another extraordinary example of why this man lacks the moral and intellectual credentials to serve as president.
May God bless the memory of Rob Krentz, and deliver us from the evil that is Barack Hussein Obama.

What If China Were Occupied by 12-38 Million Illegal Aliens?

Assistant Secretary of State Michael Posner has taken the “America Is Evil” idiocy to a new, despicable low.
Posner did so by implying that Arizona’s SB 1070, which is merely a reflection of federal law, is on a par with human rights abuses in China.
Adding to his mindless mea culpa, Posner actually bragged that “U.S. officials did not whitewash the American record and in fact raised on its own a new immigration law in Arizona that requires police to ask about a person’s immigration status if there is suspicion the person is in the country illegally.”
Clearly, Michael Posner, like Janet Napolitano, Eric Holder, and others in the Obama administration, probably including President Obama himself, has not taken the time to actually read the law he so enthusiastically maligns.
That is quite understandable, because in the liberal world of demonizing patriotic Americans, there is simply no time to waste on actually knowing what it is that one is pummeling.
Right, Mr. Posner?
Posner’s attack should cause thinking Americans to ponder the “what ifs” if China, or any other civilized nation for that matter, were confronted with the illegal alien problems facing our great nation.
Before he equates SB 1070 with the type of human rights abuses found in China, Poser would be well advised to answer the following inquires:
What if 12-38 million uninvited and unwelcome foreigners ignored China’s sovereignty, borders, and immigration laws and took up unlawful residency there?
What if the overwhelming majority of invaders did not speak or understand Chinese and refused to learn?
What if aliens were illiterate in their own language, uneducated, unskilled, and impoverished?
What if invaders cost China the equivalent of hundreds of billions of dollars a year in public services (medical care, education, housing, welfare) to which they were not entitled?
What if aliens took millions of jobs from Chinese citizens?
What if non-Chinese speaking children of aliens overwhelmed China’s school system, thereby reducing the quality of instruction for Chinese citizens?
What if invaders were to take over the streets of China’s large cities in order to “demand” rights equal to those of legitimate citizens?
What if 30 percent of China’s prisons and jails were occupied by illegal aliens?
What if China’s hospitals, medical clinics, and emergency rooms were overwhelmed by millions of invaders unable, or unwilling, to pay for medical services received?
What if aliens who failed to pay for medical services received in China were nonetheless able to send the equivalent of $50 billion back to their nation of origin—each year?
What if invaders demanded the right to drive without regard to immigration status and that all driver instruction and testing materials be in their native language, rather than Chinese?
What if illegal aliens in China observed holidays from their nations of origin, and took umbrage at those with the audacity to fly the Chinese flag on such occasions, insisting that such behavior was “incendiary” and justification for riots or other large scale civil disobedience?
What if children of invaders born in China were to become Chinese citizens by virtue of their birth, regardless of the unlawful immigration status of the parents?
What if aliens demanded the same reduced tuition rates offered to Chinese citizens?
What if invaders voted in Chinese elections?.
Of course no one can be sure how these situations would play out in China.
However, it seems a damn sure bet that China would do more, a hell of a lot more, than authorize its law enforcement authorities to “question” those suspected of being in the nation illegally.

Listen Up, President Calderon!

Mexican President Felipe Calderon is haunting the United States this week, and like his equally demented predecessor, Calderon is lecturing Americans about how illegal aliens from his nation-sewer are being mistreated.
Like Vicente Fox, Calderon argues that Americans should be grateful to have 38 million, mostly Mexican, illegal aliens dumped in our laps, for U.S. taxpayers to educate, feed, house, and provide medical care for.
At only $300 billion a year, it's quite a bargain, right Felipe?
Calderon is also taking a page from the Fox Playbook by declaring that American resistance in Arizona vis-a-vis SB 1070 is an obvious case of racism!
What both Fox and Calderon conveniently forget to note is that illegal aliens coming here are doing so on their own--no one is forcing these third-world free loaders and scam artists to invade America!
Except, perhaps, the corrupt Mexican government!
Avoiding mistreatment of Mexican citizens in America is really quite simple,President Calderon.
Stop them from coming here to begin with and take back the 38 million already here!
Repeat: Keep your citizens in Mexico and they will not be mistreated in America!

* In 1848, The Treaty of Guadeloupe Hidalgo was ratified by both the U.S. and Mexican Congresses. That Treaty ended any and all claims Mexico had to land now a part of the United States.
* Native American Indians were the original owners of the American southwest. Were there were any valid property rights claims concerning that land, such rights would belong to Native American Indians, not Mexicans.
* America is a sovereign nation, totally independent of Mexico. It has been that way for over 200 years. We intend to keep it that way.
* In America, Mexico is considered a foreign nation and Spanish is a foreign language.
* America operates according to the rule of law which applies to everyone. This is true whether one is brown, black, yellow, lily-white, red, or an exotic hybrid of lavender and green.
* Being hard-working and good hearted is commendable. But those qualities do NOT entitle anyone to enter America illegally.
* Bilingualism is cool--provided one of the languages is English. Literacy in only Mexican and Spanish es no bueno in America.
* Celebrating ones cultural heritage is perfectly fine--as long as it does not interfere with prompt and complete assimilation into American culture.
* Driving while loaded or drunk may be "macho" in Mexico. But in America, driving under the influence is considered stupid and criminal and is not tolerated, regardless of ones country of origin or cultural heritage.
* People here illegally are criminals, and as such, are most unwelcome. American citizens will fight to have such miscreants deported, regardless of whether or not families are involved. Illegal is illegal, family or not.
* Demanding that our borders be secured and that the law be enforced is the right of all American citizens and doing so does not make any one a racist or bigot.
* U.S. immigration laws exist to protect American citizens and others that are here legally, not to facilitate a foreigner's pursuit of a better life.
* Those who come to America must adjust to our culture and traditions. We have no obligation or desire to change in deference to foreign newcomers,and

Ending the Spanish Imposition in Arizona: How to Say “English Only!” in Spanish?

Still basking in the glory of their magnificent victory for U.S. citizens with immigration law SB 1070, political heroes and heroines in Arizona are once again showing the way when it comes to common sense legislation.
The latest pro-American move removes the Spanish Imposition on businesses in the Grand Canyon State. As reported, in part, at reference 1:
“PHOENIX - A Glendale optometrist's yearlong legal fight over what services he had to provide for a Spanish-speaking customer has translated into new protections for other businesses.
“Gov. Jan Brewer has signed legislation affirming that nothing in state law requires businesses to provide "trained and competent" interpreters when a customer comes in speaking a language other than English.
“Assistant Attorney General Michael Walker said that has probably always been the law. But that didn't save John Schrolucke from having to spend time and money defending himself and his practice before Walker's office finally dismissed the case.
“Schrolucke told lawmakers the incident stems from a patient who spoke only Spanish. Although she did bring her 12-year-old child with her to the office, he said allowing the child to interpret for the parent would have gotten him into legal trouble.
“He said he faced a potential malpractice lawsuit if the child did not properly translate some of the more technical explanations being provided, so he turned the woman away, telling her through her child to come back with someone at least 18 years old.
“Schrolucke said he also gave the woman the option of going to one or two other optometrists who speak Spanish.
“Instead, he said, the woman filed a discrimination complaint with the Attorney General's Office.
“State law prohibits discrimination in places of "public accommodation," which include restaurants, hotels, theaters and any place that offers services or goods to the general public.
“Schrolucke said he was given an option to settle. But that would have required him and anyone who bought his business to provide interpreters and documents in Spanish, something he said would set a bad precedent for not only his operation but other small businesses.
“It took the Attorney General's Office a year to figure out there had been no civil rights violation and dismiss the case.
“Upset with the whole process, Schrolucke approached Sen. John Huppenthal, R-Chandler, who agreed to sponsor what he called "clarifying language" to the state's civil rights law.
"Nobody should be treated like this," Huppenthal said. "It's a nightmare to go through this. He was drug through the mud by us."
“Walker, who is the litigation chief of the civil rights division, offered his own apology "for what does occasionally end up as state bureaucratic confusion."Bravo and well done Arizona! Finally, a state that has had it with the nonesense and is actually taking action.

Spread Al Gore's Wealth to Fight Global Warming!

How completely liberal-hypocritical of Al Gore to fly out to Hollywood a couple of years ago just to accept an Oscar for saving the planet from whatever he was supposed to save it from.
After accepting his statue and preaching "Think Green" to a sinful world, the bloated former Veep then jumped on another jet and zipped back to Nashville, Tennessee.
After arriving in Tennessee, the Global Warming nanny for the planet was probably chauffeured in a stretch limousine to his humble abode.
How humble? How does 20-rooms and eight baths spread out over 10,000 square feet sound?
After losing the election in 2000, Gore apparently still needs a multi-million dollar mansion to soothe his hurt feelings from the shock of being rejected by the electoral college, the only vote that really matters in America.
With the exception of the U.S. Supreme Court vote, that is.
Just 10,000 square feet? I wonder where the Gores put up the servants? With just eight bathrooms to choose from, Al and Tipper probably arm wrestle for the right to use the biggest and best furnished commode first.
My money is on the heavyweight--that would be the lovable Tipper.
After arriving at his mansion, Gore no doubt fired up the furnace to take the chill off those 20 rooms. Before Gore turns on the heat, he is obligated to alert the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) and advise of a potential energy drain in Nashville and surrounding states.
With his influence, Gore is able to force TVA into dumping a few non-millionaires off the grid so that his fat-vibrating exercise machines deliver a consistent flow of juice to the huge girth that has become Al Gore.
How expensive is it to heat and cool the Gore mansion? Would you believe $30,000 a year--approximately the amount of energy consumed by twenty "average" American families.
But, hey, we are talking a liberal icon. A man who is entitled to preach conservation and shame the great unwashed masses into carbon-neutral lifestyles while wallowing in reckless self-indulgence.
And why is Al Gore entitled to special treatment?
Because he is a liberal hypocrite who subscribes to the "Do as I say, Not As I Do" motto so prevalent in Democrat politicians these days.
Say what you will about George W. Bush, at least W never even pretended to be humble. He was an arrogant boob right from the get go.
Al Gore has made a career out of pretending to be on the side of the common man while living a most uncommon--and non-carbon neutral--lifestyle.
In a strange twist of irony, the American people may have to rely on Barack Obama to put blow hards like Al Gore in their places.
Obama, it will be remembered, promised to "spread the wealth" from fraud merchants like Al Gore to more deserving folks like Joe the Plumber.
With that communist mindset, one can be sure that President Obama will order the U.S. Marines to seize the Gore mansion and convert it into a homeless shelter.
With Obama in charge, Gore can be ordered to share those eight bathrooms with 5,000 or so street people who urgently need showers and indoor plumbing to boost their sagging self-esteem.

In 2004, America rejected Democrat presidential candidate John Kerry for, among other things, lies and exaggerations about his service in Vietnam.
Democrats still fume about the Swift-boating of their “Reporting for Duty” candidate who has repeatedly threatened a law suit to set the record straight, but who has thus far been too busy mooching off Teresa Heinz and working against America in the U.S. Senate to actually take the time to clear his name.
Notwithstanding the vast disparity between the truth and John Kerry’s actual war record, there is ample evidence to support the fact that Kerry did, in fact, serve in Viet Nam, said service earning him military medals which Kerry ultimately tossed over a White House fence to protest America’s involvement in the war.
But at least Kerry was physically in Viet Nam when hostilities were taking place there.
The same apparently can not be said for another Democrat candidate for high public office.
That would be Connecticut Attorney General Richard Blumenthal who is now running for the seat in the U.S. Senate being vacated by (thank God!) Christopher Dodd.
As reported in the New York Times, that renowned mouthpiece for America’s vast right wing conspiracy, Mr. Blumenthal is caught in a gaggle of lies concerning his military service in Viet Nam more than 30 years ago.
An Attorney General with a history of lying? Well, yes, that makes perfect sense for an AG who also happens to be a Democrat!
The story, in part, from the New York Times (1):
“At a ceremony honoring veterans and senior citizens who sent presents to soldiers overseas, Attorney General Richard Blumenthal of Connecticut rose and spoke of an earlier time in his life.
“We have learned something important since the days that I served in Vietnam,” Mr. Blumenthal said to the group gathered in Norwalk in March 2008. “And you exemplify it. Whatever we think about the war, whatever we call it — Afghanistan or Iraq — we owe our military men and women unconditional support.”
“There was one problem: Mr. Blumenthal, a Democrat now running for the United States Senate, never served in Vietnam. He obtained at least five military deferments from 1965 to 1970 and took repeated steps that enabled him to avoid going to war, according to records.
“The deferments allowed Mr. Blumenthal to complete his studies at Harvard; pursue a graduate fellowship in England; serve as a special assistant to The Washington Post’s publisher, Katharine Graham; and ultimately take a job in the Nixon White House.”
Five military deferments and repeated steps that enabled him to avoid going to war?

Janet Napolitano’s “Lesson Learned” About Big Government

As the Gulf oil crisis enters its fourth week of unabated failure through the combined efforts of the Obama administration and BP, at least one Obama bureaucrat has had an ephinany about the limitations of big government.
That would be Secretary of Homeland Security, Janet Napolitano, who, in rare moment of candor, admitted what conservatives have always known:
As a rule, government run by liberals gets in the way and hinders, rather than helps.
OK, so those were not exactly Nappy’s words, or even a reasonable paraphrase.
Still, as reported at politico.com, in part, Napolitano did put a well- deserved ding in the armor of her Marxist boss with these words:
“Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano, the first of several cabinet officials scheduled to testify on Capitol Hill this week, admitted the government has “limited capability and expertise” in dealing with such disasters in very deep water.”
That is terrific insight, Madam Secretary! A first for you I do believe!
Odd that a similar conclusion was not reached by the media and leftists during W.’s response to hurricane Katrina!

No, Diego Fernandez de Cevallos is NOT an illegal alien squatting in California. He has NOT failed to cash his last two welfare checks, which would send the entire state DNC into a panic what with the June 8 primary election just around the corner.
Illegal aliens, you see, are worth their weight in food stamps to California Democrats, especially on Election Day.
This is so because most citizens capable of sustained breathing no longer vote for Democrats, which leaves the ugly task of electing Marxists to the brain dead, the physically dead, convicted felons, and non-English speaking illegal aliens who ALWAYS vote Democratic!
However, the case of Diego Fernandez de Cevallos is quite different because, and get this, the aforementioned is a former presidential candidate in the failed state of Mexico!
As reported at Yahoo.news, in part, at (1), Mexican authorities suspect kidnapping:
“MEXICO CITY – A former Mexican presidential candidate who has remained a power broker in the ruling party was missing amid signs of violence, the federal Attorney General's Office said Saturday.
“Prosecutors said that the car of Diego Fernandez de Cevallos was found near his ranch in the central state of Queretaro. It said some of his belongings were found inside the car as well as unspecified "signs of violence."
“The Mexican newspaper El Universal reported that federal sources said Fernandez de Cevallos had been kidnapped, but a federal prosecutor's spokeswoman said she could not confirm that."

Imagine what would happen in America if Al Gore had been kidnapped? Or what if bandits had physically “Swift Boated” John Kerry after the 2004 election?

Whatever; here is a common-sense solution that Obama should seriously consider:
Tell President Calderon that Fernandez de Cevallos is being held prisoner by a terrorist group in Arizona, said group commonly known as the state police, pending verification of his papers, in accordance with the provisions of SB 1070.
Further inform President Calderon that Fernandez de Cevallos will be released upon posting of a trillion-dollar bail (American money only), or for the munificent sum of $1.00 provided that the Mexican government provides one-way tickets back to Mexico for 12-26 million illegal aliens!

In recent years, the debate over illegal immigration has devolved into a volatile, gut-wrenching exchange of heated rhetoric and accusations, all of which has left Americans bitterly divided and on the brink of far worse than spirited disagreement.
Although the willful violation of U.S. borders and immigration laws has been a major problem in border states like Arizona, California and Texas for decades, it is only recently that folks in Georgia, New Jersey and other locales have been roused into a comprehensive understanding of the economic, social, cultural, and homeland security devastation brought by invaders from Mexico and points further south.
As far back as 1994, California passed (by nearly a 2-1 margin) sweeping legislation, lovingly known as Proposition 187, to deny public services to illegal aliens, only to be sabotaged by a leftist judge and even goofier Governor Davis who went out of his way to subvert the will of the people.
Things have changed dramatically since 1994!
U.S. citizens from coast-to-coast are now demanding that American borders, sovereignty, and rule of law be enforced.
So dramatic is the change that President Obama and his Marxist pals in Congress have all but abandoned “reform,” understood to mean amnesty, in this mid-term election year.
This great awakening of the citizenry has led to powerful legislation, long overdue, to fight back against illegal invaders. This includes Arizona’s common-sense law, SB 1070, which merely mirrors federal law and which is necessary only because President Obama refuses to fulfill his constitutional obligation to defend Americans from foreign invasions.
Although not specifically about illegal aliens, the recent disruptions surrounding Cinco de Mayo day are further evidence of the fact that America’s hallowed “melting pot” is boiling over with rancor, racism, and resentment.
Illegal aliens made headlines recently with a vile threat to use “axes and shovels” in order to murder American citizens so audacious as to call for enforcement of the law.
That was bad enough.
However, the illegal immigration wars may be stoked into complete anarchy by a film titled Machete‘, which may inflict a fatal blow to the old American melting pot, once and for all.
As reported in Reference 1, in part:
“Machete‘ has fallen into controversy, and it’s still months away from its September release. 20th Century Fox, which won a ‘bidding war’ to distribute the film, pulled Rodriguez’ fiery “Illegal” trailer from the web shortly after its special “Cinco de Mayo” message created a storm of controversy and fueled attacks, including one from its sister subsidiary Fox News.”
“According to Fox news, Machete director Robert Rodriguez declares war on Arizona with a "special Cinco De Mayo message" in the wake of the state's controversial illegal immigration law.
That message is: "They just f---ed with the wrong Mexican."
If he had any cajoles or common sense, President Barack Obama would counter Rodriquez’ profanity by standing up to Mexican President Calderon on May 19 with the following words about Mexico’s invasion of America:
“Mr. Calderon, Mexico is f---king with the wrong nation!”

Speaker Nancy Pelosi is a fierce defender of the constitutional separation of church and state. Except, that is, when it comes to promoting issues and positions favored by the Democrat party
Pelosi’s latest mind-boggling hypocrisy concerns illegal immigration, which Pelosi believes should be a high priority for Catholic clergy.
As reported in the media, Pelosi said the following, in part:
“I would hope that there’s one thing that we can do working together as we go forward that speaks to what the Bible tells us about the dignity and worth of every person -- and that is on the subject of immigration,” Pelosi said in her remarks. “Because I think the Church is going to have to play a very major role in how we, in how people are treated.”
“The cardinals, the archbishops, the bishops that come to me and say, ‘We want you to pass immigration reform,’” disclosed Pelosi. “And I say, ‘But I want you to speak about it from the pulpit.'
“I want you to instruct your, whatever the communication is -- the people, some of them, oppose immigration reform are sitting in those pews and you have to tell them that this is a ‘manifestation of our living the gospels,’” said Pelosi. “Our patron saint of San Francisco, St. Francis of Assisi, he said, ‘preach the gospel --sometimes use words.’ We need the words to be said because it isn’t being picked up automatically.”
INSTRUCT, Madam Speaker? Is it really a legitimate role of clergy to tell parishioners what to think and believe?
If so, what about gay marriage and abortion, behaviors which Pope Benedict XVI called some of the most "insidious and dangerous" threats facing the world today,” at reference1?
Is it your position that cardinals, archbishops, and the bishops should “instruct” parishioners against those “insidious and dangerous" threats, Madam Speaker?

Post Script to May 19 Open Letter to Mexican President Calderon

Dear President Calderon:
In my haste to bring you the great news about the millions of undocumented boomers that will soon bless Mexico, I neglected to wish you and your good lady a pleasant and fulfilling visit to the United States.
To begin with, please accept the sincere apologies of the American people in advance for the likely rudeness with which you will be greeted by President Obama and Michelle.
Both are well meaning, I suppose; however, both attended a finishing school in Chicago that was burned down by anarchists before the two were properly trained in elitist protocol and manners when it comes to entertaining allies.
Consequently, we recommend that you limit your visit to attending the state dinner planned in your honor and to the obligatory shake-down of the U.S. Treasury, which will be coordinated by Tim Geithner, our tax-evading Treasury Secretary.
Limiting your time in this fashion will obviously leave you and Mrs. Calderon with a good deal of time to fill before you return to Mexico.
Fret not, Mr. President!
May is an enchanting time of the year in America, particularly in the South West,and most especially in the great state of Arizona!
May we suggest that you and your lady plan to spend at least two full days in Arizona?
Arizona will feel just like home, Mr. President, because the basketball team there is called 'Los Suns', which is a tribute to Spanish-speaking dudes with papers!
Moreover, because of your status as a world leader, Mr. President, Arizona recently passed a law that authorizes law enforcement to query certain individuals that appear as though they might be in America illegally, a situation that obviously could never apply to you and Mrs. Calderon.
Thus, we advise you to leave your “papers” with Barack who actually needs authorizing papers himself.
