Obama’s Tin Ear on Excessive Spending

It has been reported that as many as 42 million Americans now receive food stamps from the government.

Personal bankruptcies are soaring, mortgage foreclosures will top a million, this year alone.

Unemployment continues to haunt millions of American families.

The federal deficit has exploded.

Despite the dreary reality that most Americans face on a daily basis, President Obama’s vacation to India and Indonesia is astounding in scope and cost.

As reported at Reference 1, in part:

The White House will, of course, stay in Washington but the heart of the famous building will move to India when President Barack Obama lands in Mumbai on Saturday.

Communications set-up and nuclear button and majority of the White House staff will be in India accompanying the President on this three-day visit that will cover Mumbai and Delhi.

He will also be protected by a fleet of 34 warships, including an aircraft carrier, which will patrol the sea lanes off the Mumbai coast during his two-day stay there beginning Saturday. The measure has been taken as Mumbai attack in 2008 took place from the sea.

Arrangements have been put in place for emergency evacuation, if Obama is expected to fly by a helicopter -- Marine One -- from the city airport to the Indian Navy's helibase INS Shikra at Colaba in south Mumbai.

Two jets, armed with advanced communication and security systems, and a fleet of over 40 cars will be part of Obama's convoy.

Around 800 rooms have been booked for the President and his entourage in Taj Hotel and Hyatt.

The President will have a security ring of American elite Secret Service, which are tasked to guard the President, along with National Security Guards (NSG) and personnel from central paramilitary forces and local police in Mumbai and Delhi.

Similar arrangements will be in place in Delhi, with the Air Force One to be kept in all readiness throughout Obama's stay here from Sunday afternoon to Tuesday morning.

Maurya Hotel, where the President will stay, has already been swarmed by American security personnel and protective measures have been put in place.

Security drills have already been carried out at the hotel as well as Rajghat, where he will visit.

Sources said 13 heavy-lift aircraft with high-tech equipment, three helicopters and 500 US security personnel have arrived in India ahead of Obama's visit.

The US security has also brought interception and obstruction device, sniffer dogs, rescue gadgets.

Apart from Obama's Air Force One, a few private luxury jets carrying top American corporate leaders, who are part of Obama's entourage, are also expected to arrive in India in the next 2-3 days.

All high-rise buildings in the vicinity of Mumbai's Taj Mahal hotel and Delhi's Maurya Sheraton hotel, where the US President will stay, are being sanitised and security personnel will be positioned on rooftops to prevent any air-borne attack.

The Ridge area - opposite Delhi's Maurya Sheraton hotel - has been illuminated by floodlights as part of the heightened security drill.

The Home Ministry has already issued an alert for Mumbai and Delhi asking authorities to take extra precautions during Obama's visit as well as on Diwali on Friday.”

Clearly, the Obama trip will cost American taxpayers millions of dollars, although the exact tab is unknown.

Still, the burning question remains: Is the trip necessary as planned, and what are the supposed benefits to the American people?

These sorts of questions need to be posed by the next Congress because it is clear that Barack Obama has not a clue on his own elitist excesses and the Democrat Party dropped oversight from it's job description effective January 20, 2009.

Stopping Barack Obama: What Could Be Nobler?

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Kentucky) managed to inflame liberal passions when he bluntly stated that the top political goal of the Republican Party was to prevent the re-election of Barack Obama.

As reported, in part, at Reference 1, the straight-talker from Kentucky pulled no punches in this statement before the election:

“Over the past week, some have said it was indelicate of me to suggest that our top political priority over the next two years should be to deny President Obama a second term in office.

But the fact is, if our primary legislative goals are to repeal and replace the health spending bill; to end the bailouts; cut spending; and shrink the size and scope of government, the only way to do all these things it is to put someone in the White House who won’t veto any of these things.

We can hope the President will start listening to the electorate after Tuesday’s election. But we can’t plan on it.”

Judging by the tone and tenor of Obama’s mass eulogy for deposed Democrats Wednesday morning, Mitch McConnell’s planning seems spot on.

This president, and progressives in general, believe that Tuesday night was all about the inherited Bush economy, combined with a lack of an effective marketing plan for selling Marxism to ignorant capitalists.

Phooey!

Obama’s problem, and that of the Democrat Party, is quite the opposite!

In fact, the American public has been over exposed to ObamaMania, ObamaCare, ObamaNomics, Michelle Obama, and CHANGE, CHANGE, CHANGE!

Damn the dreaded and catastrophic CHANGE!

The root-cause of the failed Obama presidency is simple: The mainstream media stubbornly refused to independently vet Obama’s credentials because 1. He was (is) a clean and articulate person of color with no Negro dialect, and 2. He was (is) a certifiable liberal extremist which conforms to the MSM template for the presidency.

Egged on by dedicated Bush-haters in the MSM, voters from coast-to-coast were wooed into voting for a naïve community organizer based on fairy-tale visions of free health care, housing, and food; a massive transfer of wealth from the accomplished to the untalented and slothful; a gentler, more understanding policy toward terrorists, which would surely prompt the lion to lay with the lamb, in peace; and other liberal foolishness long ago proven to be a recipe for disaster wherever allowed to prosper.

All of which means that Mitch McConnell is quite right in pointing out that the fellow presently occupying the Oval Office is public enemy number 1, a fact confirmed on Tuesday night by recovered ObamaMites from coast-to-coast.

With the tragic exception, that is, of the great state of California which, by electing Jerry Brown as governor AGAIN, has ridiculed the whole notion of change while surrendering one of the world’s largest economies to a man who once took a vow of poverty-- and who seems likey to have Californians supping from the poverty Kool-Aid that always accompanies leftist regimes.

With all due respect to the governor-elect, how in Hades can a recycled 70s hippie be described as “Progressive”?

But, back to Mitch McConnell and the GOP righting of America:

Although conservatives expect the newly constituted Congress to accomplish much, the fact is that the Republicans have already made an invaluable contribution to the future of our great nation.

That was achieved Tuesday night when the Republican Party dethroned Barack Obama and declared his Marxist agenda dead and buried.

Preventing an anti-American Marxist from inflicting further damage on our blessed nation over the next two years is, in and of itself, a magnificent achievement.

The thought of limiting Barack Obama to one term, including two years as a badly-wounded lame duck, rockets one into political ecstasy!

How Goofy Is San Francisco? 80.4% Voted for Nancy Pelosi!

In measuring the insanity that is San Francisco, one need only refer to the election results from Tuesday night to fully appreciate the fact that not only should this city not be discouraged from seceding from the union, but Congress should actually help these loons get the hell out!

Without question, San Francisco is the most out-of-touch,crazed metropolitan area in all of America.

And proud of it, to boot!

Indeed, while most of America was expressing a huge, collective sigh of relief over the news that the Speaker’s gavel would pass to a real American with normal intelligence in January, San Francisco voters were making a mockery of free and open elections by re-electing Nancy Pelosi to represent the 8th California Congressional district.

Nancy Freaking Pelosi! Nationally, she garners an 8 percent approval rating; nevertheless, in this liberal-infested berg, this botox addicted, old Marxist managed to eek out another win.

Eek?

Hardly, since Pelosi won 80.4 percent of the ballots cast!

In other words, 104, 474 San Franciscans, mostly illegal aliens, felons, absentee voters from Moscow, Russia, and the deceased actually voted for Pelosi despite her torching of America—or more likely, because of it!


Nancy Pelosi’s emotional and intellectual challenges were made all of the more obvious when she issued the following statement at 1201 AM, Wednesday morning: “We have the momentum going our way and I look to another term as Speaker of the House.”

That drivel four hours after the polls had closed and everyone but Pelosi had conceded the GOP takeover of the House!

One last message to the unfurled moon bat: Get the hell out of the people’s House!

Harry Reid’s Pathetic Begging for Illegal Alien Votes

Harry Reid apparently knows nor shame, has no honor, and holds the sanctity of the vote in utter contempt.

This is true because the beleaguered and battered old man has stooped so low as to promise revival of the Dream Act, an UN-American piece of legislation designed to coddle invading criminals and their criminal off spring, as enticement to vote for him on Tuesday.


Reid made his despicable promise on the eve of the election, as reported at Reference 1, in part:

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid over the weekend promised to force the Senate to vote on an immigration bill, the Dream Act, in a lame-duck session of Congress this month.

Mr. Reid, a Nevada Democrat who is in a desperate battle to keep his Senate seat, told Univision's "Al Punto," a Sunday political talk show, that he has the right as majority leader to decide what legislation reaches the floor, and said he is "a believer in needing to do something" on immigration.

In doing so, he elevated immigration to join jobs, spending and tax cuts — the issues most lawmakers expect to dominate Congress when they reconvene in November.

"I just need a handful of Republicans. I would settle for two or three Republicans to join with me on the Dream Act and comprehensive immigration reform, but they have not been willing to step forward," Mr. Reid said. "They want to keep talking about this issue, and I say [it] is demagoguery in its worst fashion and is unfair to the Hispanic community."

The Dream Act would grant legal status and a path to citizenship to illegal immigrant schoolchildren and to illegal immigrants who agree to serve in the U.S. military.”

Why is enforcing the law unfair to Hispanics, Senator? In reality, the racist Dream Act would be grossly unfair to people who wait their turn and follow the rules!


Nevadans still on the fence on this election need to shove this burned-out, crusty old Marxist out the door in order to elect Sharron Angle:

Angle respects America’s borders, the rule of law, American sovereignty, and American language and culture.

In Nevada, the choice is clear: Sharron Angle for the U.S. Senate!

Time to Retire California’s Boxer and Nevada’s Ex-Boxer!

Two of the most dangerous liberal politicians in the U.S. Senate have been in Washington, D.C. for far too long for the good of the American people.

That would be 70-somethings Barbara Boxer(D-California) and Harry Reid(D-Nevada).

Boxer has haunted the Senate since 1992, an 18-year period during which she has displayed an insufferable arrogance and abrasiveness that makes her among the least respected senators on either side of the aisle. Boxer’s polarizing personality is so repellent that even the liberal San Francisco Chronicle refused to endorse her candidacy this Fall.

Boxer’s infamous, “Don’t call me madam!” dressing-down of Brig. Gen. Michael Walsh of the Army Corps of Engineers reflected perfectly her liberal contempt for the armed forces and has been fodder for one of the most hilarious ads of the season.

Clearly, it is way past time for voters to take away Boxer’s “Senator” title and award same to a responsible, pro-business professional like Carli Fioria!

In Nevada, Harry Reid has tortured the good people of this state since 1983 when he first sworn in to the U.S. House of Representatives.

Reid’s misbehavior escalated in 1987 when he was sent to Washington as a U.S. Senator from Nevada.

Reid’s disgraceful behavior while senator includes his misinformed, unpatriotic declaration that, “The war is lost,” while opposing the “surge” which ultimately won the day in Iraq.

Reid added to his contemptible lack of patriotic spirit by proudly declaring, “We killed the Patriot Act,” in 2006, a statement which was reversed at the Patriot Act was in fact ultimately approved.

Just as Barbara Boxer needs to be removed from the U.S. Senate for the good of the nation, so it is the same with the pathetic Harry Reid.

Best choice in California is Carli Fiorina and in Nevada the only choice that makes sense is Sharron Angle!
