Great News from Mexico: Anti-American Feeling Growing!

During his visit to Washington this past week, Mexican President Felipe Calderon provided a perfect example of why Mexico is, and will remain, a third-world, failed state.

Apparently convinced that scores of millions of Americans actually loose sleep worrying about how America is perceived in old Mexico, the addled Calderon said, “anti-American sentiment is growing in Mexico because of how the people there view Americans’ perception of illegal immigration.”

“My most serious concern is that bad feelings are growing on both sides of the border,” he added. “The anti-American feeling in Mexico is growing again.”

Of course, the logical answer to Calderon’s blathering would be to remind the pitiful fellow that the answer is to keep Mexicans from coming to America illegally to begin with.

That message would have been delivered forcibly, if only America was lucky enough to have a real American serving as president.

Still, even with Barack Obama around, Calderon’s foolish statements warrant an urgent Earth to Calderon message:

Dear Mr. Presidente~:

Several U.S. states are finally awakening to the fact that invading criminals from Mexico threaten American jobs, prosperity, and culture, and cost our nation $113 billion a year!

As a result many states are taking appropriate action to protect U.S. citizens and property from the ravages of invading third-world criminals, mostly from Mexico.

For the record, Mr. President, it matters not one whit what the Mexican people (including you) think. This is about Americans defending Americans from foreign invaders!

Given the wretched state of your failed state, your best bet would be to fix Mexico’s problems and leave America’s problems to Americans!

Postscript:

By the way, are we to assume that the growing “anti-American” feeling in Mexico will cause some of your countrymen to stay in Mexico rather than invading America?

If so, we say, Viva anti-American feelings!

Of Democracy in Saudi Arabia, King Abdullah's Slippery Slope, and Obama's Dilemma!

Revolutions in the middle-east and North Africa are raising hell with the presumed privilege of dictators and monarchies alike throughout the Arab world. Even King Abdullah, the seemingly invincible 86-year-old monarch who calls the shots in Saudi Arabia, may be on a slippery slope.

As reported in part at the reference, his Highness
seems to hold the concept of Democracy and protestors looking for change in low regard:

Demonstrations won't be tolerated in Saudi Arabia and its security forces will act against anyone taking part in them, the Interior Ministry said Saturday, a day after about 100 members of the Shiite minority staged a protest in an eastern region of the kingdom.

The warning was another attempt by Saudi Arabia to get ahead of the unrest that has swept the Arab world in recent months. Last week, the government announced an unprecedented economic package worth an estimated $36 billion that will give Saudis interest-free home loans, unemployment assistance and debt forgiveness.

The Interior Ministry statement said the kingdom bans all demonstrations because they contradict Islamic laws and society's values, adding that some people have tried to go around the law to "achieve illegitimate aims."

The security forces were authorized to act against anyone violating the ban, the statement said.

While Saudi Arabia has been mostly spared the unrest in the Middle East, a robust protest movement has risen up in its tiny neighbor, Bahrain, which like others around the region is centered on calls for representative government and relief from poverty and unemployment.”

So much for the spirit of individual freedom and liberty, right King? Who the hell needs either when you have all that power and wealth, courtesy of Americans like Barack Obama who get about in gas-guzzling SUVs and other anti-environment vehicles?

When and if revolution does come to Saudi Arabia, how might our befuddled community organizer react?

Will Obama tell King Abdullah to get out as soon as possible, thereby rendering zillions of barrels of Saudi oil vulnerable to Islamofascists not all that friendly to the U.S.?

Or, perhaps The One will order the U.S. military to invade Saudi Arabia to protect the King and, incidentally mind you, all those oil fields?

Whatever, one can be confident that whatever Obama does, it will be too late and otherwise flawed!

Maybe a one-word reminder would help Obama focus?

How about the word DRILL, Mr. President?

Imroved Unemployment Numbers Real? If So, Credit GOP!

In a sign of the times, the apparent good news about the unemployment numbers for February must be tempered by a healthy dose of cynicism, especially the drop in the unemployment percentage which may be distorted due to people simply giving up and dropping out of the work force all together.

Furthermore, any data originating with the Obama Administration is automatically suspect since Obamamites are not known for providing reliable, untarnished information.

Indeed, bureaucrats in government appear more interested in improving Obama’s poll numbers than in producing accurate information.

Remember the “jobs created” and “jobs saved” numbers coming from the White House? Or the claim that ObamaCare would add 30 million to the ranks of the insured while reducing health care costs?

Clearly, this administration is generally unable to handle simple math with any degree of precision. Or, to be more accurate, lacks the integrity and desire needed to provide reliable data.

Nonetheless, it does appear that the jobs picture IS improving somewhat.

If so, let the record show that the installation of a Republican majority in the US House and greater GOP influence in the US Senate is starting to diminish the dark cloud of uncertainty and fear in the business community.

Indeed, with the U.S. House now in the hands of a responsible and reasonable majority, business folk are more confident that common sense will prevail when it comes to taxes, regulations, environmental fervor, spending and deficit reduction.

The American people spoke loud and clearly on November 2 by replacing out-of-touch liberals such as Nancy Pelosi in favor of those who understand that government needs to get the hell out of the way in order for prosperity to take root.

Did the economy really produce 192,000 jobs in February? If so, thank the Republican take over of Congress for the improved optimism among business leaders!

Monthly Credit Disclosure Needed from Government!

Starting in 2010, credit card companies were obligated to provide a comprehensive analysis of credit card debt to each public debtor on a monthly basis.

Each creditor is required to report the current balance of indebtedness, prevailing interest rate, and, if only the minimum balance is paid, the number of years to retire the debt, assuming no further use of credit.

The results of this new disclosure have been stunning: Families accustomed to using credit without giving the matter a second thought have discovered to their dismay and outrage that it may take 40 or 50 years to pay off a balance, depending on the debt amount and interest rate.

That is the result of compound interest which can strangle a family to financial ruin by applying the overwhelming majority of the minimum payment to interest, and applying only a small token amount to principal.

Use that credit card during the month for additional purchases or services, and the result is even more devastating.

A female associate was writing a monthly check of $200.00 to a popular credit card company for a debt amount of approximately $14,000. Given the high interest rate in effect and the impact of compound interest, about $170 Of her payment was absorbed by current period interest charges.

In other words, just $30 of the payment went to principal. All of which meant that it would take my friend 43 years to pay off that original $14,000! Again, assuming that she added NO additional services or goods!

America’s financial mess is similar to that of my friend. Soon, servicing the interest on the federal deficit will consume the lion’s share of our payments.

Politicians from both parties are guilty of ignoring the true magnitude of the nation’s debt.

Which is why Republicans were touting the $4 billion in cost cuts agreed to as part of the recently enacted continuing resolution as a big deal.

Phooey!

$4 billion over two weeks is a big deal? Unfortunately, at that rate the total federal deficit would actually increase over the next fiscal year!

The American people and the politicians we elect need to sober up and realize the danger that could make the US akin to Greece, sooner rather than later.

Why not implement a requirement that forces the Treasury Department to issue a monthly credit report to the Congress and the American people that reports the number of years it would take for the nation to climb out of our financial hole, given the facts as they are?

The impact could be dramatic on the behavior of politicians AND on election results if the American people were aware of the true magnitude of our current financial mess.

$4 a Gallon Gas! Whither President Obama?

Thanks to moon-bat liberals, including an in-over-his-head community organizer in the Oval Office, the price of gasoline in the once-golden state is now over $4 a gallon!

So, just where the hell is President Obama as we in the west are being plundered at the gas pumps?

Say, what? President Obama has been too busy with declaring the Defense of Marriage Act unconstitutional to worry about mundane issues like gas prices?

In addition, please remember that Obama was busy appointing Jeremy Bernard as the first male, and openly gay, social secretary.

What with dealing with his “Make America Gay” agenda and lecturing the GOP about not vilifying public employees, the President has just not got around to the lower priority of gas pains.

Obama apologists will point out that the president was pre-occupied with the human crisis in Libya, getting personally involved in the efforts to evacuate Americans from the ravages of wild-man Muammar Gaddafi.

By the way, it is NOT Obama’s fault that America was the very last nation to evacuate its citizenry. That was the responsibility of Obama’s “Evacuation Ferry Czar,” who has been warned that the small Ferry crisis is intolerable!


Then there was the “Motown” do at the White House during which the president called Motown’s music, “the soundtrack of the civil rights era." Far more critical than a few cents extra for a gallon of that evil substance derived from oil.

Of course, Wisconsin Republicans had to be vilified by Obama for “assaulting” labor unions, even though Governor Scott Walker’s actions are based on a need to balance the budget, a fiduciary concern that Obama continues to ignore.

Never mind that unions in general are run by greedy, corrupt schemers who bring nothing but bankruptcy to municipalities and entire states like California all across the nation.

So, as one can see, this president has had a full plate to deal with on issues that really matter. Besides, isn’t it time that the American people be forced out of those combustion-engine cars that cause global warming, lethal snow storms, and all manner of environmental problems?

It’s called “benign neglect” and President Obama is a master at executing this cruel strategy for ruining America!
