Of Luis Gutierrez, the “Latino Revolt,” and Tequila

Rep. Luis Gutierrez, Hispanic racist from Chicago, has an interesting (perverted) take on American democracy.

According to the dailybeast.com (Reference 1), in part, Gutierrez is prepared to call for “Protests, marches, sit-ins—what César Chávez might have called going rogue. The movement will operate autonomously, no longer beholden to wavering Democrats, filibustering Republicans, and—perhaps most tantalizingly—no longer beholden to Barack Obama.”

Gutierrez’s outrageous call for a “Latino revolt” becomes operative if the abomination called the DREAM Act does not pass during the lame-duck Congress.

Imagine that—an elected member of the U.S. Congress actually threatening mayhem and disruption unless government yields to his ridiculous demand that illegal aliens—people with no moral or legal basis for being here—are rewarded for invading our pristine nation.

Most distressing is the fact that, while America suffers through a devastating financial meltdown that may precipitate cuts to Social Security, national defense and other programs designed to protect U.S. citizens, DREAM Act thievery would cost more than $6 billion a year; again, to fund entitlements for people who should be deported, rather than rewarded.

The cogent point is that America owes NOTHING to illegal aliens.

Not one red cent should be shelled out to a class of people that has nothing but utter contempt for U.S. borders and rule of law.

Clearly, America has no need for “free-loaders and scam artists” as Harry Reid once characterized them in a proposed immigration reform bill from the days when his senses were not yet polluted entirely by Hispanic double-talk.

The “Latino Revolt” that Gutierrez will unleash is on top of another foolish effort by Hispanic racists to upend common sense and rule of law in order to legitimatize even more invading criminals.

That would be formation of the Tequila Party, as reported at reference 2, in part:

“Latino leaders in Nevada have begun to float the idea of breaking their long ties to the Democratic Party and forming their own party -- the Tequila Party. The idea, born of frustration over the party's inaction on immigration reform and fears that as a voting bloc they're a political afterthought, Latino leaders have discussed the idea among themselves locally and in conference calls with colleagues across the country."

The burning question from all of this: How much Tequila will it take to fuel the “Latino Revolt” ?

Legacy of Charles Rangel: All Is Well That Ends Well in the Well!

In a breath-taking instance of doing the right thing despite all the odds, the House of Representatives censured Charles Rangel, the teary-eyed tax cheat from Harlem, following his conviction on 11 counts violating House ethics.

What a sweet victory it was for the little people of America as Nancy Pelosi, Shrieker of the House, was forced to read aloud the details of censure to the unrepentant Rangel as he stood helplessly in the well.

Despite his mindless and endless moaning, groaning, apologizing, and weeping, followed by more mindless moaning and groaning, it was obvious the rotund cheat was seething with the anger of a spurned elitist who, after 40 years of abuse, was finally forced to account for his outrageous corruption.

Still, Rangel paid a small price for not paying taxes for 17 years. That offense would have caused less-well-connected men to spend years in prison.

Thank goodness the Charles Rangel story is over.

And with the bloated Democrat disgraced by censure, it can be truthfully said that, with respect to Charles Rangel, “All Is Well That Ends Well in the Well!”

Can Speaker’s Gavel Be Pried from Nancy Pelosi Without Using Force?

In just a few short weeks, Republican John Boehner, Speaker-elect of the U.S. House will face what, in all likelihood, will be the most formidable challenge during his career in adversary politics.

For come early January, Boehner must devise a clever, non-violent, or at least minimally violent, way to wrest the Speaker’s Gavel from the wrinkled, old hands of Nancy Pelosi, who will in January be the deposed Speaker of the House and notorious as the nanny-granny from San Francisco.

The challenge to the Speaker-elect will be so enormous that the weepy-prone gentleman from Ohio may wind up stuck in a state of perpetual crying, all because of over exposure to the antics and insanity of Nancy Pelosi.

Does that sound like a bit of an exaggeration? If so, please remember that:

*This is the same Pelosi who was adamant that Democrats would retain majority status in the House, and who continued to gush with confidence in that belief even as every poll and pundit on the planet warned of an unprecedented route;

*This is the same Pelosi who despite the crushing defeat of fellow Democrats on November 2 vehemently denied that the election was in any way related to her far-left policies or brazen disregard for the will of the people;

*This is the same Pelosi who refused to listen to members of her own party when they urged her to abandon her ill-conceived pursuit of a leadership role in the new Congress, opting instead to further burden her party with the bitter partisanship that she is infamous for;

*This is the same Pelosi who, despite the fact that President Obama was personally involved in negotiating the Bush tax cuts with Republicans, had the temerity to schedule a House vote on extending tax cuts only to those earning less than $250,000 a year, an act that undercuts Obama’s stated willingness to compromise.


Perhaps an earth-to-Pelosi shout out is called for, along the following lines:

ATTENTION Nancy Pelosi: Your party LOST the November elections. The time has come to lift your head out of the fog and accept the fact that you are now in the minority!

Undocumented Boomers Headed to Mexico!

An Open Letter To Mexican President Felipe Calderon


Dear President Calderon:

As you are no doubt aware, America the Great is quickly becoming America the Gray. The so-called "boomer" generation, comprised of scores of million of Americans, will soon reach retirement age.

As they age, America's boomers yearn for a less frantic pace---and a lifestyle that allows one to pause and smell the roses now and again.

In other words, boomers are looking for the "Good Life" which is supposed to accrue to those who work 45 years, pay ungodly amounts in taxes, raise a family, put children through college, and baby-sit the grandchildren.

Unfortunately, the United States is no longer as hospitable as it once was to graying citizens, especially now that our economy has collapsed.

As a result, boomers have decided to move to your beloved Mexico.

Knowing that the Mexican government is a strong supporter of open borders and liberal immigration policies, as least with respect to migrations from Mexico to America, boomers anticipate that their needs and wishes will be fully accommodated with minimal interference and bureaucratic hassle.

In plain English, boomers expect to be treated like upscale Mexican citizens, with all the perks and advantages attendant thereto.

Incidentally, we prefer to be called "undocumented boomers."

President Calderon, I am delighted to announce that just in time for Christmas millions of undocumented American boomers are headed to Mexico!

Viva America!

Current plans call for about 500,000 boomers to cross the border into Mexico each month.

As with any complex transition, there are several "ground rules" that must be followed in order to make this change seamless.

Accordingly, your attention is directed to the following:

* Mexican sovereignty, borders, and immigration laws are essentially null and void with respect to undocumented boomers. No attempt should be made to enforce said restrictions on good hearted, formerly hard working Americans.

* Undocumented boomers shall receive unlimited education, food, housing, legal assistance, and geriatric care on demand, the cost of which shall be borne solely by Mexican taxpayers.

* Mexican hospitals, medical clinics, and emergency rooms shall be obligated to meet the medical needs of all undocumented boomers, without regard to ability to pay.

This obligation shall not be limited or restricted in any way because of any real or projected negative impact on Mexico's medical systems, including the loss of vital services to Mexican citizens.

* Although undocumented boomers shall not be obligated to pay for medical services received, they shall be entitled to send $30-50 billion a year back to the United States with impunity. The Mexican government shall actively facilitate the transfer of such funds to America.

* English is the only language used by undocumented boomers; boomers have no desire or obligation to learn Spanish.

* America's historic free speech, free love, and anti-war revolutions originated with activists in the boomer generation.

In keeping with the boomer tradition of aggressive activism, from time to time it may be necessary for millions of boomers to take over the streets of Mexico's large cities in order to protest proposed new laws when the "rights" of undocumented boomers are in jeopardy.

During such protests, boomers will wave Old Glory and scream "Yes, we can!" and "We are Mexico!" in English, as they protest the rule of law.

All such activities are valid free speech expressions in a thriving Democracy. As a consequence, the Mexican government shall take no action to limit or impede protests by undocumented boomers.

* We Americans celebrate the 4th of July to commemorate our independence from Great Britain. Undocumented boomers prefer to conduct business as normal on May 5 and September 16, and to reserve the 4th of July for fireworks, BBQs, and displaying Red, White, and Blue everywhere.

* Undocumented boomers shall be licensed to drive without regard to immigration status. All driver instruction and testing materials shall be in English.

* Blood relatives of undocumented boomers shall be eligible for the same reduced tuition rates offered to Mexican students in the nation legally. Immersion for the purpose of teaching Spanish is a failed concept and shall not even be attempted.

* Undocumented boomers shall be eligible to vote in Mexican elections without any requirement to prove identity.

* Grandchildren of undocumented boomers born in Mexico shall be Mexican citizens by virtue of their birth, regardless of the immigration status of their parents and grand parents, and

* Undocumented boomers are very sensitive and are easily offended. Therefore, Mexicans shall refrain from using terms like "illegal alien," "Red Neck," "Cracker,"or "Gringo" when addressing or discussing boomers.

In closing, Mr. President, let me assure you that undocumented boomers will attempt to do for Mexico what 38 million Mexican illegal aliens are currently doing to America!

Unemployment Benefits Crisis: Thank “Scrooge” Obama!

After 99 weeks of extended benefits, two million Americans face December without those small, but sustaining, unemployment checks.

This disaster could not come at a worse time.

Indeed, while the rest of America celebrates the start of the Christmas season by making merry and decking the halls with balls of holly, millions of unemployed face depression rather joy, angst rather than peace, and dread rather than spiritual abundance.

Unfortunately, some liberals see the “benefits crisis” as a way to make political hay out of the financial misery afflicting so many.

Indeed, opportunistic lefties are refusing to “waste the crisis” and are seeking political advantage by blaming the disaster on Scrooge clones serving in Congress under the Republican banner.

That blame game simply does not make sense.

The truth is that President Obama has waged a non-stop, personal vendetta against private enterprise including his crazed campaign against the Chamber-of-Commerce during the last election.

No administration has been as hateful of free enterprise and American exceptionalism as is the case with Obama and friends.

For fools and slow learners, private enterprise is where jobs are created and filled.

The oddity is that businesses enjoyed historic levels of profit during 2010, so why is unemployment stuck close to 10%, with 15 million or more Americans out of work?

Simple: Under the socialist regime of Obama, private business owners face unprecedented government hostility and meddling.

From stalling on the Bush tax cuts to the onerous mandates of ObamaCare, business owners simply do not have confidence that the Obama administration will work with, rather than against, private enterprise in putting America back to work.

In addition, Obama and his cohorts in the Democrat Party are chomping at the bit to grant amnesty to tens of millions of illegal aliens, criminals who are in jobs that should be filled by American citizens.

Those looking for a scrooge-like character to blame for the lump of coal in the current unemployment stocking need look only to 1600 Pennsylvania where the notion of a “White Christmas” is held in utter contempt for more than one reason!
